Hotel Los Pescadores

This is a fabulous local place with good food and great cocktails at reasonable prices. Daniel & Ruben behind the bar are great fun and very attentive. The food is excellent and service in point. I did not stay in the hotel but enjoy the pictures of the pool . Olé

Excellent stay at Hotel Los Pescadores this early October. Patti is such a great host, with excellent staff. The rooms were lovely, and it had everything we needed! The pool is also great on a hot day, with a great full stocked bar as well! I look forward to my next stay here.

We just went in on the advice of friends for dinner and drinks at the bar. What a pleasant surprise!! So beautiful and welcoming!! Great guy’s working the bar and it was just awesome! Great wings, great drinks, enchiladas were wonderful and we topped it off with chocolate ice cream! It was all wonderful and we’re definitely going back!!

this is a wonderful hotel. the owner and staff are remarkable. the rooms clean, up to date and well supplied. the restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. this is a gem off the beaten path. it is walking distance to the beach; they have a great fishing charter and captain. overall, it is an excellent value.

I just stayed 8 nights at this lovely little hotel. I own a travel agency in the United States. Absolutely wonderful, the best staff. Loved the setting, easy access to the bar, restaurant, getting into town on my golf cart..and close to Pickleball resort! Los Barriles is laid-back town, so if you like very casual, friendly, dogs walking around, people know your name…this is 10 plus in my book. Loved the pool area, only having small number of guests, nice room and cute patio. Plus I caught a bad cold on my flight down, last 4 days pretty sick…the staff could not have been nicer.

There are so many nice touches at this hotel I wanted to write a review to let the owner and staff know how much I appreciate them, from the refillable glass water bottles to the complimentary continental breakfast and occasional snacks served while watching football at the bar. It’s overall a local and friendly vibe, very clean, and they host a group of ukulele players who gather to strum and sing every Monday afternoon. Thanks to the owner Patti, and Daniel and Fidel at the cantina who made my solo stay not only comfortable, but also fun!

I contacted Patti about staying a fishing a couple days in August 22 and she was very responsive and very nice. They were closed for the off-season but her fishing options were available. We were set up with other options for staying. We stayed on the beach were the Patti sent Lavo right to the dock to pick us up. Lavo was a very good fisherman. I could tell it is what he does and had been dong for along time. My son and I had just been to Mexico in June and we didn't do as well as we wanted in Cab San Lucas so we thought we would expand out a bit. We wanted Dorado and Marlin. Lavo was headed out for some wahoo when he got word that the Tuna were in close so we hauled ass to the Tuna, apparently everyone else heard the news as the area was crowded. ( The wahoo zone was full of Kayaks as well, 43 of them). We chased the tuna around all morning and caught 5, it was fun. The 2nd day we went back for Wahoo and there were no kayaks only a couple of boats and we caught 4 wahoo and a Dorado. We then trolled for Marlin and Dorado. It appears the the Marlin are the least favorite of these hardcore Mexican fisherman, they seem less enthused to fish for them wehn something else is biting.

Just spent six days at this hotel and my son has stayed here previously. Very clean and comfortable with a home-like a**osphere. It's like staying at a bed and breakfast, but far superior. Patti is an outstanding host who makes sure you have everything you need and more. Great bartenders and staff. Plus we were able to fish and fill up our ice chests with the catch. Captain Lavo made the fishing memorable. We cannot wait to return next year (or sooner).

We've stayed here several times over the last couple of years and we can't wait to return. I've stayed at the fanciest hotels all over the world and for me, none of them have the soul, charm and overall good vibes as Los Pescadores. For us, this is a perfect hotel with all the amenities we need and none that we don't. Our only regret is that we don't bring our dog - she would fit right in! Thanks Patti, Valeria, Adela, Daniel, Fidel and everyone else at the hotel. You are terrific!
