Great hotel just outside of Hirafu - a two minute drive. Rooms were pretty spacious, very clean and cosy, and very well set up. Bathrooms were great, although showers not baths. The breakfast was good - I can’t eat gluten so options were a little limited; the others in the party said the food was excellent. The staff were exceptional - fun, helpful, very good customer service. Big bonus being able to return hire skis from Rhythm ski shop on site. There’s some parking, but have to be comfortable driving in the snow - and had to clean the car of snow every time we took it out. Definitely worth having a car - there is a good shuttle but it’s only every half an hour. Hirafu is walking distance for dinner etc, depending on the temperatures. Would definitely stay here again!
