Sin grandes expectativas ya que este hotel está en la isla, lo primero que me llamó la atención cuando nuestro barco se acercaba a la isla fue cómo los hoteles en esta isla se mezclan con la naturaleza y el paisaje de la isla de Koh Kradan. El barco aterrizó en la orilla (no en un embarcadero) y tuvimos que bajar a la orilla. El personal de los hoteles esperaba en la playa para traer las maletas. Al entrar al hotel, la recepción está justo en el centro, donde se encuentra el bar de Reef Resort. Así comenzó esta gran aventura. El gerente del hotel, Genta, un gerente profesional altamente capacitado y centrado en el cliente, nos hizo sentir como si nos hubiéramos registrado en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Por supuesto, las comodidades son básicas (¡es una isla!) Pero todo fue perfecto: la habitación es luminosa, espaciosa y limpia. Los kayaks y los equipos de snorkel son de uso gratuito. La electricidad está disponible todo el día (esto es una excepción en comparación con los otros hoteles más "lujosos" en Koh Kradan), nevera en la habitación, aire acondicionado (6 p. m.-10 a. m.), desayunos servidos, bebidas y comida durante todo el día el restaurante del hotel que cenamos en la arena mirando el mar increíble. Además, los precios son muy razonables. El agua del mar es de color esmeralda y los arrecifes de coral están a unos 100 m de la playa, donde se puede bucear hacia ella. Tumbonas y hamacas están disponibles para relaj**** todo el día en la arena. Este hotel en Koh Kradan es un paraíso en la tierra para mí. Definitivamente regresaré

Sencillo pero muy funcional. Disponer de electricidad las 24 horas, aire acondicionado, nevera (no todos los resorts la tienen). El baño es bueno, la ducha está al aire libre. El agua está caliente con fuerte presión. El kayak, la tabla secundaria y el equipo de snorkel son de uso gratuito. Hay un restaurante en el complejo. Todo está delicioso. La a**ósfera es tan buena. Justo en la playa. Durante nuestra estancia de cuatro noches, decidimos comer todas las comidas en el complejo porque era muy bueno. Aquí también cenan muchos huéspedes de otros complejos turísticos. El precio es muy razonable. Genta y todo el personal hacen que Reef Resort sea aún más especial y excepcional. Gracias por su gran hospitalidad. Nos lo pasamos genial. Pregúntale a Genta si necesitas algo o tienes preguntas, no te arrepentirás. La isla en sí es muy bonita. Calma, Silencio con gran paisaje. Puedes nadar (caminar si hay marea baja) desde la playa hasta el arrecife de coral. Pregunte al personal por la ubicación de Nemo y los corales blandos. Asombroso. Si buscas un hotel lujoso de cinco estrellas, mejor quédate en tierra firme. Si buscas naturaleza relajante y hermosa, este es el lugar. Es una isla pequeña. Ten en cuenta que puede haber algunos insectos, el agua está un poco salada y la señal wifi baja en ocasiones. Definitivamente regresaremos al resort Reef. Muy recomendable.

This hotel is very very very good place to stay. The staff i some of the nicest people, and derserve all the praise in the World. The food in the restaurant is good , and the Beach is unique. I have not been in a place that Got me in such a good mood in a long time. I can’t wait to go back❤️

We only popped into the restaurant at this hotel for lunch a few times as we were staying at the Mali resort a few blocks down the beach ( see separate review). the food here was lovely and reasonably priced .The staff were very friendly.We cannot comment on the rooms but they looked nice from the outside.They have a small pool which wasn’t very deep ( about knee deep) more like a paddling pool

We stayed here for three nights, and we loved the staff members and the great service that they provided. Although the reef is a bit far from the beach, accessible snorkeling is just a short walk away. In addition, the food was excellent.

My wife and I stayed at The Reef Resort for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly, informative and helpful. The beach is in front of the resort with breath taking views.. The breakfast was simple but very tasty. We will definitely stay again in the future.

This is a tough one to review. On the one hand, you have the prime location on one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand if not in the world. On the other hand, the resort itself is very average for the price. To quote the resort’s website, ”The Reef Resort in Koh Kradan Thailand is a corner of paradise and with 18 luxury beachfront and sea view rooms will allow you to enjoy the crystal emerald Andaman Sea and the lush tropical gardens.” I fully agree on the beauty of the paradise island, but the above seems a bit of an overstatement in terms of the actual accommodation. The rooms are clean but very simple. Basically just a bed (decent one), a fridge, AC and an outdoor bathroom. The decor is very minimalistic but that’s what we expected. The rooms do not really have much a view to speak of. They are tightly placed in a U-shaped building, giving you a distant feeling of staying in a tropical motel. To have any privacy, you need to keep the curtains closed all the time. The sea view is limited and indirect, blocked by the trees and the bar hut. What you mainly look at is a sunburnt yellow/brown lawn (at the least during the hot season) and the pool. The difference to some of the neighboring resorts with their well kept gardens is striking. It seems that the Reef has decided not to upkeep the garden, maybe to save resources. During our stay we did not see a gardener around. If this is their choice, I would rather suggest them to replace the lawn with sand as a continuation of the beach. I would also pay more attention to the overall appearance of the property. Eg. the building where they have table tennis and a small kiosk was really messy and unorganized. The breakfast was simple but adequate with white toast, sausage, bacon, pancakes, a couple of warm options plus some fruit (pineapple and watermelon). Eggs were prepared by order. I would suggest them to improve the way the breakfast is presented - it was not very very attractive with many food items served on foil. What was really annoying is that there were lots of flies all around during the breakfast hours. I know this is something normal in a tropical environment but at least they could try to manage the situation, eg by very regularly raking the sand on which the tables are placed. I never saw them raking the sand although this could help to mitigate the root problem by removing the eggs etc. We had most of our meals at their restaurant. The Thai food was decent but not spectacular. The prices were reasonable. Some of the waiters could practice showing a happier face with their customers. The beach is spectacular with a coral reef just in front. The resort has canoes, SUP boards and snorkeling equipment for their guests free of charge. The swing in the beach is also great. I also recommend waking up at 6am to see the sunrise, it’s really beautiful. It can get a bit busy later in the morning and around noon when day trippers arrive (this mainly affects the neighboring Seven Sea

Reef Resort is the kind of place you never want to leave. It's beautiful and relaxing with plenty of activities. Manager Genta is excellent at making sure your needs are met, in fact, she will anticipate your desires once she gets to know you. You leave Reef Resort feeling like you're part of a wonderful family. We allowed Genta to set up our transport from airport to resort. She had a driver waiting at the airport and a longboat ready to whisk us across the water, delivering us to the shore of the resort. It couldn't have been better.
