Pranee Beach Bungalows

If you need lots of café’s, shops and entertainment, Koh Kho Khao is not for you. If you just want to enjoy the sea and an almost empty beach, Koh Kho Khao is definitely your cup of tea. For me, staying at Pranee Bungalows was like a stay in paradise. Very comfortable bungalow on the beach, with a nice terrace, a very good bed, a working refrigerator and good aircon. Very friendly people, really nice food in the restaurant and lots of peace and quiet. What’s not to like? I will be back next year and am already looking forward to it. Just one point of criticism: the extra bed we requested, because we did not want to share a bed, was truely horrible with a thin and lumpy mattress. So we ended up sharing a bed after all, which by the way turned out to be fine, because the bed is big and the mattress firm. But I do think an upgrade of the extra beds with much better mattresses is in order.

Went Pranee Beach bungalows after doing 3day snorkeling trip on Sirin Islands. Was a great relaxing time. Right on the beach. Had a big variety of Thai and some other foods available at the restaurant. Was very good.

Beautiful part of the world, the beach is just out the front of the bungalow.

Ovviamente non ci aspettavamo un hotel a 5 stelle, però dopo aver visto altre strutture dello stesso livello, ce lo aspettavamo meglio di come lo abbiamo trovato. Avevamo prenotato un beach bungalow. la stanza è ampia e pulita, l'aria condizionata funziona bene, ma il bagno emana cattivo odore e l'acqua corrente è marrone, ho lavato una maglietta bianca ed è rimasta tutta macchiata di ruggine. Lo spazio di fronte al bungalow è molto stretto e ci sono ombrelloni che vengono usati da tutti gli altri ospiti proprio di fronte e vicino al tuo bungalow quindi non hai nessuna privacy. Ombrelloni e lettini sono fatiscenti, davvero in cattivo stato che non ti viene nemmeno voglia di sederti. La spiaggia è lunghissima e puoi fare lunghe passeggiate ma l'acqua del mare è marrone e non ci è venuta voglia di tuffarci. Avevamo prenotato 2 notti ma siamo rimasti solamente una. Al ristorante abbiamo mangiato bene ma non abbiamo capito se chi gestisce il ristorante è anche il manager dei bungalow, la signora ci ha fatto capire che lei non c'entrava niente con la gestione dei bungalow, ma voleva farci pagare la notte che abbiamo dormito nonostante avessimo già pagato 2 notti tramite ******* e abbiamo dovuto discutere un po'. Se a tutto questo aggiungete che per arrivare dovete fare 2 ore di auto dall'aeroporto di Phuket fino al molo dove prendere una barca per attraversare il canale e può capitare che dovete aspettare anche 30-40 minuti, poi prendere un'altro taxi che per fare 800 metri vi farà pagare 150 baht (una follia) ... non ne vale la pena, almeno per noi. Con tutti i posti belli che ci sono in Thailandia non consigliamo questo posto.

Points positifs : super emplacement sur une ile loin du tourisme de masse, suberbe plage déserte (mais il faut savoir que l'eau n'est pas super transparente), petite structure familiale, accueil et ambiance sympathiques (merci Pranee), restaurant et petit bar les pieds dans le sable, bungalows spacieux, propres et climatisés, location de scooter sur place (indispensable car hôtel isolé) Points négatifs : standing des chambres très basique et sans déco, débit d’eau de la douche très aléatoire, bouteilles d’eau le premier jour mais pas renouvelées ensuite, bouilloire dans la chambre mais pas de sachets de thé ni de café, qualité de la restauration inégale : un premier dîner super avec gambas grillées fraîchement pêchées et un autre dîner plutôt raté, (oubli de la commande, erreur dans les plats, padthaï sans parfum…), En résumé : idéal pour un séjour calme et reposant mais sans activité Conseil : choisir les bungalow "on the beach" ou les "sea view" qui sont un rang derriere.

Es war eine herrliche schöne Unterkunft zum relaxen, tolles Essen, entspannte Massagen und eine kleine Bar, alles da was man braucht. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat sich um alles sehr bemüht.

Zufällig haben wir die Bungalows auf einem Reiseportal gefunden und wollten ursprünglich nur eine Nacht bleiben- daraus sind 3 geworden und hätten wir keine Anschlussbuchung gehabt, wären wir bestimmt noch länger geblieben. Wir hatten einen Strandbungalow, die hier wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt liegen. Das Essen ist sensationell und alle Mitarbeiter unglaublich lieb. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Thailand reisen, ist dieser Ort definitiv für uns ein place to be!

Die Bungalows sind toll gelegen, sehr sauber und super freundliches Personal. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker und preislich ok.
