Hotel Fazenda Dona Carolina

I am not sure how to put into words our experience at Hotel Fazenda Dona Carolina. It was… breathtaking. Almost 200 acres of beautiful grounds with a lake, hiking trails, kayaks, ziplines, and incredible food. When we arrived on an early Friday afternoon, our room wasn’t ready, but they made sure that we were able to take advantage of the grounds and the food offerings. Once we got our room, we were charmed by the beautiful room and the view of the Brazilian countryside. While we were there, we spent a lot of time at the pool. It’s a large pool and it’s heated, so even though the temperatures were between 70 and 82, we were always comfortable in the pool. Their poolside service was also amazing. Everyone was so accommodating, even though we didn’t speak Portuguese and very few of the staff spoke English. It was actually fun when I would use my translate app and they would help me pronounce words I didn’t know. The rooms were immaculate. The property was stunning. We had the opportunity to hike several miles around the property without having to leave it. And the food. Can I talk about the food? Every meal had an amazing spread of local dishes, breads, cheeses, and on the weekend - rotisserie meats like carne asada and sausage. This is a family-friendly resort, and even though my husband and I were on an early 25th Anniversary trip without our four (adult) kids, we loved seeing all the families enjoying their time together. It reminded us of when our kids were small and made us very happy. The kindness and patience of the entire staff made this a memorable stay. At some point, we plan to come back and maybe share this with our children and grandchildren. Thank you to the entire Dona Carolina team!

Fantastic hotel, with great food, friendly service and fun entertainment for kids. We had issues with our flight and arrived in the hotel in the middle of the night. That was no problem for the reception which was able to check us in without problems. New Year celebration was also fantastic! Well organized, with an awesome dinner and music. We will definitely come back!!!

This was my 5th time at the hôtel, but this time it was special, as it was 1st time ever in a hotel since pandemic started. My husband and I were pleased to see how ready this hotel was. All the restaurants with outdoor tables, very good serving protocols, policy on wearing masks. Excellent choise if you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable hotel, great sleep quality and delicious meals.

Where to begin? This place is a true gem. I came with my family of 10 for a 4 night-stay. Stunning and well-kept grounds with tons of activities both for kids and adults. You can never feel bored unless that's what you are aiming for. This is a place to relax, take your mind of the hustle and bustle of the real world. Besides offering beautiful and spacious rooms, the staff is what truly sets this place apart. Everyone we came in contact with during our stay was beyond attentive and kind. They are the nicest, most hospitable staff I have experienced at a hotel in Brazil. Food was delicious, never feels repetitive. Topnotch options. The place feels luxurious in some parts and attention to detail is evident. We enjoyed the tours offered, hiking trails, massages, horseback riding, ziplining, etc. The only thing that was a little lacking was the spa. While the saunas were great, the jacuzzi and the facilities felt a little outdated. Special shout out to Juliano and Antonio (restaurant) and Tia Piti. You guys truly made our stay even better!

Um lugar espetacular, bem cuidado, que transmite paz absoluta. Fomos três vezes nesse paraíso e pretendemos voltar com toda a certeza. Lugar maravilhoso com diversas atividades. Os restaurantes são ótimos, com menu impecável. O atendimento oferecido por todos os funcionários envolvidos é muito profissional e acolhedor.

Lugar maravilhoso para descansar, relaxar e aproveitar os momentos na natureza. Atendentes muito educados e atenciosos. Quarto espaçoso e muito bem limpo. Café da manhã é excelente, com muitas opções. O restaurante é muito bom e a comida é maravilhosa. Com certeza voltaremos.

Todo conjunto é muito bom!!! Estrutura, atendimento, refeições e as acomodações são deliciosas!!! A começar do café da manhã, completo em um ambiente super agradável!!!A piscina com o bar ao lado, facilita todo o atendimento Parabéns a toda equipe Dona Carolina!!!

Sou apaixonada por este hotel! Próximo de SP! Possui estacionamento com manobristas! Staff excelente, gentis educados! O sr Adriano do piano bar é um amor de pessoa, bem como o Marcelo que servia nossos chás da tarde! Mateus e Stephany na recepção, muito bons! O sr Caio gerente foi muito atencioso com nossas necessidades. Solicite quartos que fiquem distantes do café da manhã por causa do barulho. Café da manhã excelente. Almoço e jantar na medida com Opção para veganos. A cachaçaria continua linda e não Perca o tour com o sr Carlinhos! Pontos de melhorias: a academia é escura, desanimadora, parece uma caverna, um sótão mas o Caio falou que estão com uma reforma no radar. O café da tarde na cachaçaria é legal mas no salão de jogos é péssimo com cadeiras velhas e puídas parecendo que foram largadas lá! Horríveis. O sofá da cachaçaria parece que há décadas que não limpam. Planejar melhor a limpeza da piscina para não interditarem por meio dia, impedindo seu uso com um calor de 35 graus. Não deixem de visitar a fazendinha!
