Esta es la tercera vez que me hospedo en este hotel. Las dos primeras veces di la máxima puntuación, esta vez voy a descontar un punto. Cabe decir que la decoración de las habitaciones del hotel es muy distintiva, el servicio general del hotel es muy satisfactorio y la salida debe ser cuidadosa. Esta vez me quedé ocho días, e inicialmente me quedé en una habitación con vista al mar. El hotel tiene vista al mar, pero el techo en el frente está demasiado desordenado, por lo que la habitación con vista al mar es la habitación del techo. Terminé mudándome a la suite presidencial. El primer día de mi estadía, el tipo de cambio del euro a la lira era de 18,5. Hay que decir que me quedé el día que se desplomó la lira, pero esto no afectó a mis gastos, porque el hotel decía que estaba calculado en euros. El hotel no tomó el dinero en ese momento, solo debitó el prepago de mi tarjeta de crédito. Pero cuando me fui el día 27, descubrí que el hotel era complicado, me cobraron todas mis tarifas el día 27, pero en liras, y todos los días se calcularon entre 1 euro y 18,5 liras (en realidad, 1 euro en el día) . 13 liras) y cargué liras en mi tarjeta de crédito. Entonces, después de convertir la lira a EUR/CAD, pagué un 42 % más por nada. En teoría con el hotel, el hotel siempre decía que iba a consultar, pero pasó más de una semana y seguían sin contestar. Me alojé durante 6 noches en el Hotel. La ubicación es fenomenal, ideal para la primera vez que uno viaja a Estambul. A pasos de la estación de tranvía y metro. La habitación conforme a lo anunciado, lo único que deberían limpiar las ventanas con mayor frecuencia. Quiero mencionar la buena actitud y disposición del personal, quienes fueron muy atentos , siempre me ayudaron y solucionaron mis problemas de manera oportuna. Quiero destacar a Gonca que siempre me recibía con una sonrisa y un saludo personalizado a la hora del desayuno y estaba siempre dispuesta a responder mis dudas. Una trabajadora ejemplar. Además felicitar a Ugur de recepción, muy educado y servicial me ayudó en todos los trámites, como toma de test de antígeno, reservar taxi y con la información turística . El desayuno variado, aunque agregaría más opciones dulces como baklava o pasteles.

La habitación Premium King tiene muebles antiguos y una cama grande y cómoda. La habitación familiar es más básica. El minibar está lleno de alcohol dentro de las habitaciones, aunque hay mucho alcohol en el bar cerca de la recepción. Esto no era apropiado para una habitación reservada para una familia con niños. Las habitaciones parecen estar diseñadas como un apartamento de soltero en lugar de un verdadero alojamiento de vacaciones en familia. La piscina cubierta climatizada es un gran detalle en pleno invierno, aunque no hay una piscina poco profunda para que los niños jueguen con seguridad. El agua en 1,4 m de profundidad. Tenga cuidado con muchos cargos ocultos diferentes. El personal de recepción quería cobrar por limpiar el minibar, pero cambió de opinión cuando me quejé de que tenía niños conmigo. Hotel no muy grande en zona tranquila del barrio de Sultanahmet, a 10 minutos o menos andando de la Mezquita Azul. El personal es encantador , aunque no hablan español se hacen entender muy bien. Kenan de recepción salía a saludarnos cada vez que volvíamos al hotel para preguntarnos cómo nos había ido , al igual que el resto de personal del hotel. Desayuno típico turco, nada que ver con el español, pero correcto. Personal del restaurante encantador también .

Si no es el mejor hotel del mundo, está muy cerca de serlo, principalmente por el mayor valor: su gente. Nunca hemos sido tratado con tanto respeto, cariño y familiaridad como en el Mula Hotel. Era muy simpático ver al personal tratando de hablar español, solo para saludarnos y atendernos mejor. Adicionalmente, las instalaciones son muy cómodas, muy buena ubicación y rodeado de muy buenos vecinos. Si pudiera ir de nuevo, no lo dudaría y podría, fácilmente, solo quedarme los días enteros en el hotel. Recomendado 1000%

So, we booked & paid for in advance, the following rooms: - 1 x Triple Room with Disability Access - 1 x Deluxe Triple Room - 2 x Deluxe Double Room Upon arrival at the Hotel, we were provided with 1 x Triple Room with Disability Access, 2 x Deluxe Triple Rooms and 1 x Deluxe Double Room as one of the Deluxe double rooms was booked by someone who was already staying at Laos Hotel. This is a reference which will become clear shortly down this review... The Transfer Service which we booked through the hotel was 1.5 hours late. The price I had to pay to the Hotel was 1,350.00 Turkish Lira so we had to pay for the pleasure of being messed about by their transfer service. Bearing in mind we're a family of 10 with 2 young children and at this point, everyone was becoming incredibly grouchy which is completely understandable. WiFi is ridiculously slow to the point where on the night of Day 4 through to Day 6, we actually had little to completely no WiFi whilst at Laos Otel. This was common for us all in our group and was reported to Yilmas. We actually do not know if and when this has been resolved as when we checked out and escaped from this Hotel, there was still no WiFi. Our stay was for a period of 6 days in total. The hotels policy is that they change the bedding every 4 days which was informed to our families mothers by Baarish. This was not the case. During our entire stay at this hotel, the bedding nor towels were changed at all. The room was not cleaned at all. Not once. I queried this on Day 6 (whilst in a heated altercation with Yilmas) and Yilmas actually responded with ”we cannot clean while you are not in the room as we do not have another key”. Literally unbelievable. I had to actually check his response again by asking him very clearly ”you have ONLY 1 key?”, to which he responded ”yes”. This actually translated to for me ”we won't clean because its not something we do during a week long stay”. Furthermore, Yilmas's response was a complete and utter lie as they had entered one of our rooms whilst we were out to put some silicone by the shower cubicle. So for a Hotel to have ONLY 1 key is absolute nonsense and was only used as an excuse and their very weak and non existent justification as to why they didn't clean. There is definitely no 24 hour reception desk. One of the hosts, Yilmas got into a huge strop just because we disturbed his sleep on the lobby sofa as we were popping out to smoke. Seems as though we had a curfew. His justification for this was that after 12am, it is quiet time. I completely understand quiet time and respect it. We were not being loud for us to violate ”quiet time”. We genuinely haven't been noisy whilst at the hotel and have been incredibly courteous towards everyone. We have actually been told to go bed and be asleep after 2am? I'm sorry but no-one has a right to dictate what time we should be going sleep. Furthermore, we have actually been locked out of the hotel because Baarish was fast asleep on the

Me preocupan las malas críticas, pero la cama es un poco estrecha Hay muchos restaurantes alrededor, así que no desayuné. Nada para comer para el desayuno turco. Pero teniendo en cuenta el precio y todos los aspectos, creo que es un buen hotel, limpio y cómodo. Primero llegué a Estambul y luego me quedé en un hotel cerca de la mezquita, pero era más caro y mejor. Hay muchos restaurantes y mercados en la zona, y puedes encontrar cocina turca barata, deliciosa y variada. Frente a nosotros, el restaurante indio Chicken Biryani, Arroz frito con pollo al curry simple y delicioso. La oficina de cambio de divisas cercana tiene un precio razonable y la mezquita y el mercado se encuentran a poca distancia a pie. Hay un metro cerca y un autobús del aeropuerto sale cada 20 minutos. ¡descansa bien!

I would not even give them a 1star. 1. Location: It's far from everything. Every small street connecting is shady and unsafe. It is close to 1 square that only serves sea food and has 10 restaurants with exact same menu. The street is super noisy even at 2-3 am. 2. I booked this place on booking.com and i always check if the room has air conditioning which it mentions it does however they have put that on heater only and room is so hot that my entire family could not sleep. The manager said open the window and then the noise on the streets is unbearable. So either way we just cudnt sleep. 3. Although the description says everything is within 1-2 kilometres but It's like climbing 25 floors at any given point to reach these locations. Understand that everything including Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet street, tram, metro is accessible by narrow and steep roads through some areas that looks and smells like slums. 4. Breakfast is mediocre at best. Very limited options, coffee and omlet are charged. We paid 50 lira for omlet. 5. I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. Location on the map shows it's close to the water front and all but it's a very busy street so location is the worst in every sense of the term for tourists. 6. Also areas around the hotel to walk up to the main sultanahmet street are very unsafe with strange people around and when i brought this up with the manager he said many are immigrants and workers from where you live so you should tolerate. I mean that's point blank racist... (Same thing the manager has actually written as a reply to my review on booking.com as well) 7. If you want to live in the slum poverty stricken area of Istanbul u should book yourself here.

We stayed there as a couple with 4 children. The area is very busy and things are really cheap and people are very friendly. It’s easy access to the Metro in Beyazit, however it’s a 10 mins walk uphill to get to the tram station. Not a problem as such as you will soon find Istanbul is all up and down! but with the hot season, something to think about. There are many taxis that can take you up if you choose not to walk. Everywhere around this apartment is very cheap. There are many shops that are open until late, it was very convenient with the kids and safe area to walk to and from the apartment. Everything is 10 times cheaper than the area of Sultan Ahmet. In terms of the apartment itself, you get what you pay for. The apartment is very safe and they have a staff at the reception 24hrs. The apartment has air conditioning which is a massive plus if you’re staying in August because it’s boiling outside. Although this was in one room. It takes a bit of time to cool down the 2 bedrooms. The furniture is quite dated but the beds were comfy and we slept well. the kitchen facilities are not that great/ accessible for use. The missus was a little apprehensive to touch anything as the stovetop was open and didn’t seem safe. She was insistent there was a strong smell of gas. The bathroom could do with updating as there was mould on the ceiling which left a bad stuffy smell daily. To be fair, when the ladies got in to clean for us, it was manageable but again not the best. As I said you get what you pay for, and as we were on a budget and just needed a place to sleep at night, we managed with it. If you are out all day and only come home for a short and sleep, it’s great. On that note, the staff and owner are lovely and receptive. We thank them for our stay. Don’t hesitate to stay there, the owner just need to spend a bit to upgrade the furnitures and sort out the moulds in the bathroom ceiling. A bit of effort of putting a clean kettle goes a long way. The mini fridge in the room is a massive plus as we could buy our own groceries everyday and snacks and kept replenishing our fridge. Thank you again we spent an amazing time in this area and we felt very safe with children in this apartment . THANK YOU 😊

Nuestra estancia en este hotel en el corazón del viejo Estambul era simplemente perfecta! A sólo 1 km de las grandes mosquetas y del gran basar, la ubicación no podía ser más ideal para explorar la ciudad. El desayuno era una fiesta, ofreciendo una variedad de delicias para comenzar bien el día. Las habitaciones eran inmejorables, garantizando un confort total. Pero lo que realmente hizo nuestra estadía excepcional es el personal increíblemente amable y servible. Además, la disponibilidad de varios aparcamientos pagadores cercanos ha facilitado nuestro viaje. Si buscas un lugar para disfrutar plenamente de Istambul, no busques más. Este hotel es un joyero que recomendamos enérgicamente! 🏨🌟🥐🧹😊
