However, the warm hospitality of the hotel butler and real-time weather updates convinced us. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided seamless service, assisting with luggage and inviting us to the Grand Club while our room was prepared. There, we met the Manager Esther and the proactive stuff Chen Jingjing, whose thoughtful service led us to upgrade our stay. Esther’s constant care—reminding us of temperature changes and safety tips—along with Jingjing’s attentive service, made us feel truly valued. Beyond the hotel’s comfort, Esther also shared excellent travel tips, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm service left such an impression that we decided to extend for another night—because of Esther! What started with hesitation due to the rain turned into a memorable experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.»

«My ocean view room was good sized and very clean. The frosted glass between the shower and the bedroom was a little weird, because you could make out someone else's body shape behind it. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, although the quality of cooked food was just okay. Clientele is almost entirely Chinese, and this is reflected in the 2 main restaurants being Chinese cuisine, and hotel notices being in Chinese without English. We tried both restaurants - Features is way more accomplished than Five Senses, and their service was also better. The two identical gyms are spacious and the equipment felt new. Staff tries to please, although the training and quality is not at international 5-star level. I wish the butler and front desk were more knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the vicinity. Shimei beach in the Hainan winter is perfect for lounging around in, and for surfing. Signs everywhere warning about undercurrents, and consequently no one swims in the sea.»

The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer). The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs. They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant. If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant. Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Reservamos una habitación Deluxe y el mayordomo nos cambió a una suite. ¡Muchas gracias! El autobús lanzadera del hotel fue muy práctico, y el mayordomo también nos ayudó mucho con el equipaje y respondió a nuestras preguntas con prontitud. Aunque últimamente ha estado lloviendo en Wanning, descansar en este hotel me hizo olvidar el mal tiempo que hacía fuera. Los perros del hotel eran adorables, y sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo si tuviera la oportunidad.

El personal era profesional y considerado, manejaba el check-in de forma eficiente y respondía a todas mis preguntas con gran paciencia, haciendo que me sentía bien en casa. El hotel está cerca de 3-4mins y se encuentra a unos kilómetros más lejos del hotel. La habitación era espaciosa, luminosa, limpia y bien equipada con un servicio de calidad. El baño cuenta con ducha y baño separados, con mucha agua caliente y una presión de agua estable. La ubicación también era ideal, con conexión a la red de transporte conveniente y cerca de varias atracciones turísticas y zonas comerciales, lo que facilita la exploración o la compra. El hotel también ofrece instalaciones de ocio como una piscina, perfecta para relajarse después de un día de descanso. El hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad, y se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad.

We should pay on reception, buylt courd not change a currency anyhow, in any bank - there are no such an options - you must have chinese ID and telephone number. Also it was an issue with a taxi each time - we should use local app, every time someone from hotel stuff helps us, good that they always was super fine l, helpful and friendly. First 2 rooms were nice, but cold, as located in shadow area of hotel. So we asked for Room in other sector. That one was sunny, but in smoking and loud area (works on a Garden, it was a paper with shedule in-Room). Many freebies were mentioned - we use free breakfast and cookies upon arrival. Attemps to events know more about the others were failed. Same with facilities - there are some bows & arrows on-site etc. - we did t really get how to join it. So, if you are local and speak the language - i highly recommend it, perfect for children as well. Otherwise be ready for some hassle. (its look like I am ready again!). Ps Own farm and plants are amazing!

UUsuario invitadoThe vibe at Surfers Garden is chill and cool but a little bit too much. My room had no towels, no toilet paper. Cabinet to store my things in the shared room couldn’t lock. The room itself can’t lock from the outside as well and too often when I was looking for someone at the reception there were no one … When you finally catch someone to give you a towel, be aware that it’s a disposable towel. So better bring your own. In the morning, don’t hope to get a coffee at their bar before 9am or 10am. The whole place looks a bit messy and the reception space looks unfinished. Staff is friendly tho. The guesthouse is surrounded by many little shops and local restaurants. You can reach the Ri Yue Wan beach where you will find bar/coffee, clubs, shops, surfing clubs etc. in 15 min walking or 5min by e-bike. Ri Yue Wan beach area is definitely the place to be to enjoy a good “beach/surfer” vibe sipping a cocktail in front of the beach. At night, this place turn into a music festival area where everyone display live show music and DJ and expect fireworks on the beach almost every 15min. If you are looking for surfing club in this area, I would recommend to check Shaka surf club. Good service, good price, and so far the most professional to me at Ri Yue Wan.
