Posadas en Quebec (ciudad)

«On the plus side, this hostel is in a PRIME location. We walked all over Old Quebec and loved it! The AC worked GREAT. The beds were pretty comfy. We were not very happy about the fact that we had booked a room through Trip.com that had a private bath. When we arrived they said that the reservation did not specify that, but I showed them the actual reservation and it DID say we had a private bath. They said there was nothing they could do about it and when I said that since I had PAID for a private bath I should at least get a discount, but they were unwilling to do this either. My travel partner said she heard some other people checking in another day and they had a similar problem with the shared bath, so we are wondering if it's a bait and switch thing with the hotel. We also told them the first morning that the light over the sink in our room was burned out or broken and she said they would have someone check it out when they came in. Nobody ever came. The shared bathroom was okay but could definitely be improved by adding a paper towel holder (there was a roll of paper towels sitting on the shelf for a few days, but eventually it all got used and it was not replaced before we left.»
