What a shame, staff were friendly and helpful but that’s it, we booked the garden suite and after entering the room we moved rooms, bathroom so small Tom Thumb would struggle to fit in room, air com was smelly and room very very tired, the pool area was dirty with broken sun beds and a few wasp nest around pool area, the pool was cold all time as area was covered with trees so didn’t get warm, the breakfast was terrible(being nice) me and wife got an omelette and it came with free hair in it, advertises with sauna, spa facilities and entertainment, yo which none was available as spa staff had finished for season and entertainment just didn’t happen, manager wasn’t bothered as he extended season due to nice weather. Our second room while ok had loose wires from fuse box in wardrobe exposed , this hotel needs a really clean inside and out and food needs to be cooked without hair. If it wasn’t for the customers there what we met we would have looked at coming home early, so basically Staff nice Hotel and Food Rubbish and Dirty, would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy

A superb hotel in an idyllic setting My room was spotless and bed was very comfortable Although it is located on the outskirts of the old town it us only a 10-15 minute enjoyable stroll to the beach Staff in hotel extremely helpful and can't do enough for you Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection but need to be down early or not that warm Lunch and evening meals were superb with a good selection and more than adequate portion size In fact probably too much for prices paid Nice seating areas outside and excellent quiet seating areas indoors Pool area was good with more than enough sunbeds and loungers And lastly if you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go If you can't relax and unwind here then you won't anywhere I will be back in Icmeler but only if this hotel is available

We booked this hotel for a chill week after a busy summer working..We arrived at 1am in heavy rain but the night porter got our luggage out our transfer & into reception which was a good start.He took us to our room on level 3..We asked for a cool beer which initially was refused as the bar had now closed but when pressed, he came upstairs 5 minutes later with 2 cold beers.We were very tired after a long day & slept well although we did detect a dog outside next doors house barking during the night.The breakfast was ample for our stay & freshly cooked omelette was very nice.The hotel is lovely & relaxing & was spotless everywhere but some areas especially in the bedrooms needed some TLC…The Wi-Fi ( not too bad ) the bedroom safe & AC no extra charge.All staff were approachable & pleasant.So after 2 more nights of this neighbours dog barking all night we requested a change of room as we were not getting a good nights sleep at room 3B.No problem we were moved to the other side of the hotel at 3G where our quality of sleep was much better…We get that the hotel is amongst where locals live but if the hotel was fully booked & no room was available we would have requested a change of Hotel….This hotel really needs to get this sorted as this would put us off booking here again.

Recently returned from a 2 week stay here having booked via Jet2 at fairly short notice. Located in the old town far from the hustle and bustle of Icmeler, this boutique hotel is about a 20 minute amble away from the beach. Following some reviews, we elected to pay extra for an upgrade to a “superior room” but have to say the room we were given, while generally adequate, was looking extremely tired and worn with laminate floor panels sticking up, window beadings missing and a fridge that made sleeping difficult on most nights. That said, the room was kept in order by the cleaner who never seemed to stop working, a lovely lady, never got her name unfortunately. Breakfast from 8 to 10.30 was adequate with a variety options including cereal, meats, cheese, bread and freshly made omelettes to order. Tea and coffee are available from a machine with fruit juice also available. Pool area was nice with towels supplied by the hotel. Although some people chose to reserve sun beds early, it wasn’t really necessary in all honesty. So far, so good you would have thought until the night of the BBQ. Advertised at £20 per person including a free drink which is absolutely fine if you’re a meat eater but unfortunately isn’t something we are into in a big way and the same can be said of some of the other guests that were there too who, like us, elected to spend their money elsewhere in other restaurants and buy drinks from wherever we chose to do so. From here on in, the barman chose to blatantly blank us and our friends and, despite our best efforts to talk to him he actually insulted one of us in Turkish, something he then tried to pass off as some form of greeting (which it most certainly wasn’t) and confirmed by others at the hotel. This made for an uncomfortable final week to say the least. We couldn’t fault the rest of the staff though with them being pleasant, helpful and thoroughly professional at all times particularly the lads at breakfast time. Dede the Jet 2 rep was equally lovely. With wonderful weather, we covered what we needed to do during our time here including several visits to Marmaris, seeing the castle and dancing fountains and a trip to Turunc using the water taxi. Although we won’t be returning for obvious reasons we would say that the 3 star rating is possibly a tad on the low side but could potentially become 4 star with not too much effort.

Lovely hotel. An oasis of calm and relaxation. Lovely pool area with no problem ever getting sun beds and towels provided. Staff immensely helpful and kind. We really enjoyed the food which was delicious and reasonably priced. The barbeque was superb and very good value.

Just back from our 3rd stay at the Petunya, although 1st time as the hotel as opposed to the apartments. Brilliant from start to finish. Lovely relaxing stay with excellent staff, who are friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, peaceful and relaxing under the warm Turkish sun and a no rush ambiance, very chilled. The Petunya is beautifully clean and maintained, even a bit quirky with the vintage tractors in the grounds. It was always pleasant to return and stop by the bar to catch up with other guests enjoy a drink served up by the friendly Swat who looked after us very well. It's good for us to be out of the hustle and bustle of the resort centre and is very quiet up in the old village but only a short dolmus ride into town. If we return to Icmeler we'll be staying here for sure.

We have just returned from a week stay in the Petunya Konak boutique hotel….. We have never been to turkey previously and what I must say I was more than surprised with the whole area of Icmeler…. Starting with the hotel It’s a small family run quaint hotel with a very happy atmosphere and staff Upon arriving late hrs the night manager was at our private transfer before we opened the taxi doors He greeted us and our luggage to our suite…. We woke up early and proceeded to our continental breakfast which was very plentiful…. Pool is very clean and has around 20 very comfortable Sun lounges We stayed here half the time and also spent half at Icmeler beach which I can say had so much outstanding beauty overlooking the mountains and bay Water was very warm and very shallow to ideal for good and not so good swimmers….. Food and drink are cheaper on the beach bars than restaurants which I found odd as it’s normally other way around Bus to beach is only 5 mins and costs 20 lira(60p) or you can walk of around 15 mins but in heat is rather difficult…. We have gone to Benalmadena for over 35 years numerous times a year but this is our new go to place as weather/people/costs are unprecedented…. Back to hotel as it’s so peaceful and if you are let’s say 45+ this is the Hotel for you as it’s out the bay from hussle and bussle of Icmeler and only 5 mins by bus or taxi away it’s perfect for just what the doctor ordered to unwind or ideal if you want to pop into Icmeler for a bit more lively scene…. We have already booked to comeback for longer in June for 10 days and look forward to a very friendly warm atmosphere from hotel staff and all in Icmeler…. Beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff, who made our visit to Icmeler perfect. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the friendly night manager, Semih, to the last moment when we left with drinks for our onward journey, nothing was too much. We booked a deluxe room which was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. The bed was the comfiest hotel bed we have slept in and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was modern and clean with a lovely waterfall shower. Breakfast from 8 until 10:30 was relaxed and plentiful. Hakan, in charge of breakfast service, ordered us a fresh omelette which was perfect, and the buffet had everything you could wish for. We ordered lunch at the pool a couple of times, which was delicious. On our last night we booked dinner as well. It was the perfect last night, a table by the pool, candles on the table, and amazing food, complemented by the service from the bar staff. Returning to the hotel was a delight - it felt like a homecoming every time with the staff at the bar welcoming you back with smiles and conversation. The hotel is about a 15 to 20 minute walk from Icmeler beach however, there are regular buses every 10 to 15 minutes that take about 5 minutes to reach the beach. There are also regular buses to Marmaris and one an hour to Torunc. We liked being away from the bars in the centre and loved the peacefulness of the hotel's location. There are also a few quieter bars and restaurants closer to the hotel, one directly opposite. This is a fabulous hotel, in a peaceful spot, with the loveliest staff we have ever met in a hotel. Special mention to the barman who made fantastic cocktails and made everyone feel like a visiting friend. I would only book this hotel if I returned to Icmeler.

Beautiful hotel, lovely and clean and comfortable. Clean towels every day in room and bedsheets changed regularly. Room was small but adequate and comfortable. Kettle, tea and coffee in rooms and water in fridge on arrival. Brilliant air-con, which was needed. Pool area is very quiet and peaceful no music just very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Although this hotel is a 5 minute bus ride from Icmeler centre, its part of its charm and the old village is only a 10-minute walk. Highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing holiday.
