I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. The location is quite convenient, situated right next to a well-known bakery, which made it easy to grab fresh bread and snacks anytime. There’s also a nice burger place just across the street, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The surrounding area is lively enough without being too noisy, so it’s a good balance for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility. The hotel itself was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a short stay. While it may not be overly luxurious, it offers good value for convenience.

If I could give more than 5 stars to XiuXi Anping, I absolutely would. From the moment I arrived, everything felt intentional and thoughtfully curated. The location in Anping is perfect—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still incredibly convenient for exploring the old streets, historical spots, and local food scene. It struck that rare balance between tranquility and accessibility. The space itself is stunning. Every detail—from the minimalist design to the warm lighting and carefully chosen decor—creates an atmosphere that feels both modern and deeply comforting. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel at ease. Cleanliness was impeccable, and you can tell the hosts take real pride in maintaining such a high standard. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the hospitality. The hosts were exceptionally responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure the stay was perfect. They didn’t just provide a place to stay—they created an experience. Thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel personal rather than transactional. Waking up there was a highlight in itself. The calm ambiance, soft natural light, and quiet surroundings made it the perfect reset from a busy travel schedule. It felt less like accommodation and more like a carefully designed retreat. Honestly, XiuXi Anping set a new standard for what I look for when traveling. If you’re heading to Tainan and want somewhere that combines aesthetic, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality, this is it. I would return in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy. The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours! The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

The location was quite good and the hotel was very clean! However, I got the accessibility friendly room (which is great that they have!) and the bathroom/open-space shower wasn’t well thought of. First, right next to the shower there is a electric plug.. that feels like a electric hazard for sure. Second, even though there is a water drain at the door, water still went inside the bedroom (the floor can easily be mopped/cleaned so I used all of the towels to clean the mess. Besides from that the front desk people were very kind and let me drop my bag before the check-in.

Had a pleasant time in this hotel. Provided snacks and drinks daily. The male staff that was at the reception at night was very helpful in helping us call local shops and finding things. The breakfast was also delicious! Would return next time!

El hotel es viejo y muestra. Hay muchas piscinas en el área de la puesta de mantas y los huéspedes tienen que llevar bañeras y capas de baño. Las habitaciones son como si tuvieran que ser renovadas, pero todas las zonas públicas y piscinas son viejas y la limpieza puede mejorar. La selección del desayuno es básica, pero es justo para lo que nos han cobrado.

The location is great and very central, so getting around was easy. The price was fair compared to other hotels in the same area, which made it feel like good value overall. The room itself was nice, with a big window and a bathtub that made the stay more comfortable. The hotel is also quite pretty, especially the lobby area which has a nice atmosphere. On the downside, the room decoration and amenities could be improved. Things like the hand soap and blankets felt a bit basic. The AC also did not seem to work properly and had trouble keeping the room comfortable.

This is listed as a 2-3 star hotel but wow I can easily say this is more like a 4-5 star hotel. The decor and modern feel of the hotel was really good. Despite not having free breakfast, they have a very big seating area on level 2 with free snacks, drinks, water and board games. This is one of the only hotels we stayed at in Taiwan with proper bike racks in the lobby which was really helpful for easy storage.

The hotel room was clean and basic for the most part and a few small bugs in the bathroom, but nothing major. 4 bottles of water are included and slippers. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are ok. However, if you are allergic to napthelene (moth balls), then stay away as the place is strong smelling of moth balls though the room doesn't have a closet or wardrobe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bathroom is very basic without a door rack to hang your clothes and the shower partition is only enough to shield the toilet from splashes and without any sliding doors. Toilet doesn't accept toilet paper, so you'll need to put into the provided waste basket. The young lady at the counter was generally helpful, but in a basic kind of way. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Taiwan railway station in ”downtown” kind of area. The lobby looked big, clean, and decent with a ”putting green” off to the side. The room is quiet, though there are people talking loudly as they check in late at night. The lobby “free wifi” connects, but has no internet service. Room wifi is unsecured, so make sure you have a vpn or use it for unimportant things. They also provide a free luggage storage service before you check in so you can sightsee without lugging your luggage around town. Overall, it’s a good choice for a basic short stay at a very convenient location. The price is also very good. Recommended choice for your next Tainan trip.

La habitación es bastante amplia y el aire acondicionado, excelente. La ubicación es inmejorable, al salir hay restaurantes por todas partes. Se llega a la Torre Chihkan en tan solo 5 minutos a pie. Desde la parada de autobús frente a la Torre Chihkan, se puede tomar el autobús número 98 para ir al Fuerte Anping.
