Old Man Captain Hostel

The hostel is located right next to the train station in a old style rooms. The rooms are big, airy and ventilated. The cleanliness is okay. it’s great place to stay for a night but if you are here for a travel, there are many other good hostels in the city. They have social night every day but hardly there will be people attending it and it depends on the crowd itself. The receptionist is good and answers my all queries but if doesn’t feel welcoming there, seems they are treating it as extra work to attend people. In fact the other receptionist was rude and even ignores customers questions. as compared to other stays in Tainan my experience isn’t that great

獨旅搭火車來到台南，住這裡就對了！就在前站全家便利商店的樓上！不要懷疑！它的入口就是在全家進去的左邊牆上的門,交通非常便利，牆上的圖也有文青風格還有接待室像極了舊火車站的售票櫃臺！有提供脫水機和洗衣機！一般價格，樣樣都有！

台鉄台南駅出口すぐ、入り口はまさかのコンビニの中にあります。設備は結構ボロめで衛生も微妙ですが、悪くはないです。ここを起点に電車やバスに乗れるので台南観光の際には便利だと思います。

The staff is really nice and helpful, they gave me good recommandations for Tainan and my next trips as well, I cancelled my last nights because I changed my plans and they gave me a refund. There are workshops every evening (learning how to make coffee, cocktails,...) in a friendly atmosphere so it's easier to meet people from Taiwan and travelers from other countries alike. The hostel is really well located, just next to the train station so it's very convenient. The hostel entrance is located inside the Family Mart. There are several showers, toilets and the washing machine is free, so as the breakfast. Highly recommend!!! :)

*******'s marketing message for this facility should be corrected at once. First, there is NO Cook-to-Order breakfast, not even one piece of free toast. No free breakfast is included, period. 2nd, there is no Nightly Social Activity as the facility claims to host every night free for guests. 3rd, there is no computer station to use as included in ******* Amenity list. 4th, there is no Tour/Ticket Desk assistance as claimed. The lady was not even interested in helping us with the local transportation information. I made a decision to pay a higher rate and to accept the shared bathroom options instead of a few lesser expensive business hotels in the area, as I was truly looking forward to the Cook-to-Order Breakfast and the nightly social activities with fellow guests. I am expecting ******* to compensate me for your false marketing information that led me to overpay my stay.

緊鄰火車站，招牌不明顯，不太好找，入口在出火車站左邊的全家便利商店裡面，環境尚可，房間很擁擠，每一層樓只有一間廁所+一間浴室，人多時需要等待，訂房時頁面顯示有附早餐，但實際是沒有的呦~~
