West Longridge Manor B&B

What a fabulous place to stay. Robert goes above and beyond to make your stay absolutely great. The rooms are beautiful, the views are stunning, and the breakfast so well presented. This house is so stunning, with lots of things to do in the area but in a tranquil spot but so near to Berwick and the A1.

Wow, what a find this was. Superb accommodation in every way. Quality, cleanliness, service, breakfast. Highly recommended. Could not fault it in any way.

Checking in was a breeze. Stairs to rooms were wide and not too steep so getting luggage to room was ok. Room was fantastic, large and airy with the biggest bed I have ever seen. There was no shower in the bathroom but the large claw bath is very comfortable and great to relax in after a long drive. Stepping in and out might be difficult for elderly. No aircon but it is a B&B so should not be expected. The host was fantastic and he cooks a mean breakfast. A short drive outside of Berwick upon Tweed but this is not a real disadvantage as most of the things you want to see are within easy reach. Overall, a great place to stay.

We feel incredibly lucky to have "found" this gem of a place. We had a wonderful two night bed and breakfast stay at West Longridge Manor staying in the "Cheviot " ensuite bedroom. The room was beautifully furnished , impeccably clean and the attention to detail was exquisite. Upon arrival we were greeted by Robert the owner/host of this wonderful place. We were shown to our room then invited into the dining room for a warm drink and a delicious slice of homemade Victoria sandwich cake served in beautiful china with the added luxury of a freshly laundered linen napkin. It felt like stepping back into a bygone era where such a simple pleasure was a celebration of the senses. Breakfast was fabulous. Fresh fruit, cereal a selection of homemade breads, freshly baked scones and juices adorned the breakfast buffet. Tea and coffee were served along with a varied choice of freshly prepared cooked foods which if required were selected the previous evening along with your requested time for breakfast. I can highly recommend the leek fritters topped with eggs poached to perfection with a dash of sweet chilli sauce (optional). Ideally situation to explore the surrounding areas, West Longridge Manor truly is a remarkable place. We will definitely be returning.

Our room had a huge comfortable bed and in the big bathroom I made use of the luxurious deep roll top bath. There was a great choice of breakfasts made with good quality food, we had delicious pork and apple sausages and creamy scrambled eggs! All served with different types of home-made bread and scones on a table laid with linen cover and napkins, silver cutlery and china plates. Generous and unique sums up this house and Robert. My husband and I only stayed two nights before returning to our Scottish home and I hope we can stay longer the next time.

Mum and I had a peaceful mini break in this wonderful house just outside of Berwick. I don't do hotels but this one has changed my mind. Robert is a gem and his house and hospitalty made our trip perfect. . Super value for money and we were spoilt rotten. Spotlessly clean. Food was spot on. View was fantastic. I can't complain about anything. A good base to explore this part of the country from.

The location and accommodation was excellent with plenty of parking space. Good choice of breakfast which was well presented and delicious. Our host Robert was friendly, helpful and informative. All of which contributed to an excellent stay which we both fully enjoyed.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this great property just a few miles outside of Berwick. The host Robert was very welcoming and treated us to tea and cake on arrival. The room was very spacious with a very comfy bed and the whole house was extravagantly decorated. Breakfast was incredible with a varied menu and served promptly by our host. Would highly recommend and looking forward to staying here again.
