This review is from our last visit to the hotel in September 2023 but we were also in the hotel 4 years ago, so we can compare. Unfortunately, after KOVID a lot has changed in the hotel (also according to the confirmation of the staff I spoke with). Unfortunately everything for the worse. The worst thing about the accommodation is the food in the hotel restaurant. For dinner (unless you are a vegetarian) there are only two dishes. One of which is always fish. Dinner does have 4 courses, but again, it's all just a big absurd theater. The food is always well decorated but everything is more of a parody. Example of dinner during our stay. Soup: broth with 20 noodles in a quantity of 1dcl. Starter: 4 slices of tomato about 2mm thick and some foam of unknown origin. Main course: 2 slices of beef 3mm thick, size 6x8cm + 2 potato pancakes, diameter 5cm. Sweet spot at the end - about 1dcl of yoghurt sprinkled with cane sugar (the menu says créme brulee = total travesty!!) Even though we had paid for our dinners, we ate elsewhere. Everywhere in the other restaurants around here the cooking is perfect (I especially recommend the Tennen Wirt restaurant in Söll). For breakfast, the offer is very limited. The service staff making food from eggs on demand was as dirty as a garbage man. The hotel is still occupied by workers who have been trained here. There are still hundreds of people down in the lobby. Quiet during the day = zero. The total offer (towels, pool slippers, cosmetics, etc.) is limited and only available on request. A big difference from previous years. Tourists mostly Germans probably on discount vouchers. There's not much more to add.....
