«We were so happy to stay in this lovely apartment. It was beautifully decorated and had such a charming atmosphere.
Although it's located a little uphill from the Old Town, the location was excellent. The shower room was spotless, and the apartment was equipped with air conditioning, so we were able to sleep comfortably at night.
On the day of our arrival, we ended up checking in a little later than planned because our flight was delayed. We let the host know, and they replied very quickly, which gave us great peace of mind.
If we ever visit Split again, we will definitely stay here again.

SSeat 2AThis is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away.
Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality.
My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable:
* Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant
* In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient.
Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

FFrancisI really enjoy staying here. The location is perfect for me. As a big beach person, the hotel is close to Bacvice Beach, it’s like a 8-minute walk. And it’s like 13-minute walk to Diocletian's Palace and the pier for my boat trip. The owner also recommended some good restaurants for us to explore and asked us constantly if we need suggestions to do in Split. They are really helpful!! The room is also really clean and I love the fact that many towels are provided in the room. Also, when I had told the owner we would check out at 10am the day before check out, my friend suddenly had a diarrhea and puked in the morning, the owner was so nice that allowed us to check out at 11am instead!

UUsuario invitadoThe room was amazing—spotlessly clean and perfectly organized, without the slightest bit of clutter. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and very spacious! It’s also super close to the seaside—just a short walk of about ten minutes—and the bus stop is only a few steps away. The hotel owner was incredibly kind, warm, and friendly. This was our first time visiting Croatia, and everything left us with such unforgettable memories! 真的非常推荐↖(^ω^)↗

GGranster72Tony and Antonio were the perfect hosts. The room was spacious. The ensuite was as well.
The accommodations location was perfect for me. It was near the train station the bus station the ferries the restaurant the sightseeing the open markets and also pharmacies.
I cannot fault the room the location nor the superbly attentive lovely ladies in the breakfast room who made me probably the yummiest omelette I’ve had in a long time.
Anyone travelling this accommodation is five star at probably what I would say a three star price Tony and Antonio are the best

HHeather_MaeI had a fantastic stay! The property was super easy to find using Google Maps, and the receptionist was kind and very helpful right from the start. My room was spacious, clean, and looked exactly like the photos — no surprises. Bonus: the TV has Netflix! The area around the hotel is peaceful and quiet. I could occasionally hear other guests closing their doors, but otherwise it was very calm. It’s about a 12–15 minute walk to the Old Town, which made it easy to explore while still being able to come back to a quiet, relaxing space. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

UUsuario invitadoThis was a rushed booking due to our original hotel not having our booking. Normally I spend considerable time going through reviews etc, but with the Azur Palace (hotel?) it was a case of needs must.
Unfortunately although we had booked a deluxe double in our opinion it didn’t match similar 4 star hotel deluxe rooms. I mentioned this to reception but they weren’t really interested.
Appreciate we were virtually in the centre of split, with space at a premium, but the view of a small alley with graffiti an empty minibar, not even plugged in, an irritating dim light, I think from the a/c that ensured the room wasn’t completely dark. After trying to close it down without success I went to reception, which had a note with a phone number to call. I gave up went back to the room and tried throwing a towel over it.
Also no bar, although there are a few within couple of minutes.
Overall disappointing.

MMark ElshoutExcellent location right in the centre of great restaurants and the tourism hotspots. The room and bathtub are great. Good wifi and television box for plenty of viewing options. Rooftop garden/outdoor area is amazing at sunset (see attached photos). A couple of things to prepare yourself for which are out of the control of the hotel owners: there are 90 steps to the floor where the rooms are so would not recommend if you are physically challenged, and the restaurants in the square do have music till quite late which is audible in the rooms so light sleepers may like to try ear plugs. Sound did not bother us and the walk up the stairs was good for our health! The whole of the city has bell ringing at various times during the day (7am, Midday, 8pm) No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning!

UUsuario invitadoPro - very close to the Golden Gate and is easy to find. Check in is straightforward. The room is on the first floor above ground so it wasn't the most difficult thing to lift our luggages up.
Con - (1) the actual room looks nothing like the pictures online. The online pictures (taken with wide lens mode) show the room to be much larger and brighter, whereas the room is in fact very small and relatively poorly lit. For one, the bed is literally two footsteps away from the door, and we were struggling to find space to open our luggages.
(2) One of the beds in the room is in fact a sofa bed, but the property did not declare this when we booked. We spent a lot of time trying to book places which do not use sofa beds but actual beds, and so we can't help but feel that we were misled and misrepresented to.
(3) There is a bit of noise. The property is right next to the road and near a pub with some rowdy youths at times.
(4) Facilities are minimal. There is only one chair, and the table is very small. Everything else is basic. Nothing luxurious about it despite its name and the photos.
(5) There is no lift at the property.
We would not have chosen this property if we had a second chance.

No es como un hotel, más como una villa, la seguridad de éste no es muy alta, ya que tiene 2 entradas.
La entrada de la piscina, cualquiera puede acceder a ella sin problemas.
La piscina era bastante sucia, tiene muchos bugs flotando, y también no ha sido limpiada regularmente por el personal.
Tiene muchos restaurantes cerca, y la calidad y el precio son mejores que los platos turísticos de la antigua ciudad.
El ascensor se rompió el primer día, el segundo día nos informaron que está fijado, pero todavía tiene un poco de descenso de problemas.
Creo que Croacia no tiene reglamentación sobre el control de ascensores a plazo fijo, ya que no tiene ningún certificado en el ascensor dentro/exterior.
Si el hotel muestra 3 estrellas y el precio es más bajo, yo cotizaré.
El lado derecho del balcón tiene un campo de tenis grande en el nivel 2nd-floor, es muy cerca, y es bastante molesto que las personas puedan ver fácilmente.
La suite no vale 4 estrellas.
El bloqueo de la puerta delantera está aparentemente nuevo, es seguro, pero alguna instalación de electricidad no se ha instalado correctamente, parece que se puede sacar fácilmente.
La caja de seguridad eléctrica no funciona con la contraseña, el hotel dejó una llave para su uso.
El desayuno es bien gestionado para los huéspedes con una excursión temprana, pueden organizar la caja de desayunos incluyendo 1 fruta, 3 panes y 1 yogur en las 6:00 a las 7:00.
