This place was truly a little slice of paradise. Not only were the views very beautiful but the hotel itself was also very lovely. Our room took our breath away when we got into it, our only regret is that we only spent 2 nights there. Breakfast on the decking each morning was fabulous, and the staff also made it extra special. Nothing to fault, spot on.

Had a great chilled out stay at Abalone guest lodge, the friendly staff including Ansley the manager were superb and all made our stay so nice, and they arranged a number of days trips which were great fun. Would love to come back as soon as possible!

Me and my wife stayed a few nights at your wonderful location in Hermanus back in February. From the first warm welcome by Ansley, the fantastic breakfast and the u**ost attention to detail during our stay. This is luxury experience competing with other top brands, but this place does it right! The right balance between luxury and cozy.

Wow what can I say, everything was excellent. I cannot think of one thing to improve on. The service was exceptional, the breakfast was cooked to order and tasted great, the rooms and beds were perfect. The hotel is right on the cliff path where you can get some lovely views.

Stayed here with my wife , kids and parents around Easter we were given 3 rooms , as it was my wife's birthday we had room 3 on the top floor overlooking the unbelievable views over the ocean. We only stayed for 2 nights, wish it was longer. Great service from Allen and Ansley from the moment we arrived. Excellent breakfast served each morning , continental and cooked off the menu choices. Can't recommend this place enough if you are in or traveling through Hermanus. Fantastic restaurants within 3min drive or 15-20 distance either side of the lodge.

The lodge was excellent as well as the food and helpful staff. To eat in the town meant that you had to drive and don't drink or walk or take a taxi to enjoy a drink with your meal. The coastal walks are excellent and safe.

Beautiful location, warm welcome and great staff. Abalone Lodge is highly recommended. The breakfast was super great. We had a great stay with our friends. The cliff walk is highly recommended and the beach is fantastic.

Everything about this guest house is just right. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. Extremely friendly and attentive staff - they even remembered my birthday, which was a few days ago. Super nice rooms with a great ambience and view. Next time we will definitely stay longer than just two nights.

This was our first stay at Abalone guest house. It was absolutely wonderful!! Ansley and Siwo provided a warm welcome taking care of bags and showing us around the guest house. The house was immaculate and inviting. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious with happy smiling faces eager to serve a great breakfast. We had the added bonus of being able to have dinner at the guest house as well. The views of the sea were stunning and it was so convenient to enjoy the cliff paths. This is a wonderful place to stay Hermanus. Thank you for lovely visit!
