L’appartement est très bien situé au centre d’Héraklion. Il est à 20 minutes d’auto à partir de l’aéroport. Sur la même rue, il y a un parking souterrain payant (12 euros) que nous avons utilisé à 5 occasions sans aucun problème. Il y a aussi une épicerie, des boulangeries, des restaurants et une multitude de commerces tout autour. Géographiquement, l’emplacement est idéal. Nous avons résidé à l’appartement 1 du 4e étage. Une chambre fermée, une salle de bains, un grand salon - cuisine. Le balcon est toutefois le point fort de cet appartement. Il est grand, et on y relaxe bien en fin de journée. Le matin, on vous laisse à déjeuner pour deux: céréales, lait, œufs, confitures, pain, etc. Cependant , l’appartement aurait besoin d’un peu plus d’équipement: micro-ondes, ciseaux, grille-pain, planche à repasser, commodes, cintres (il n’y en avait que 6)… Pour ce qui est de la salle de bains, elle est très petite et elle manque cruellement de tablettes pour s’organiser. Hormis cela, nous pouvons affirmer que l’appartement est parfait pour un court séjour de 2-3 nuits. Quand vous y restez pour plus d’une semaine, vous vous rendez compte, à ce moment, du manque d’équipement. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et font de leur mieux pour répondre à nos besoins.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our recent holiday. Our first stay was in the suite on the top floor. This is a spectacular room with a HUGE balcony. The room and balcony are the entire 5th floor, overlooking the churches and park. It even has an outdoor hot tub. Our second room was also nice, but it was tough going from the suite to a standard room. The location of the hotel is great. It faces the church courtyard and there are several cafes. There is easy access to the entire center of Heraklion. All of the hotel staff are amazing. They were polite and helpful. I would like to single out Petrali Margarita, the hotel manager. She was warm and friendly and really seemed to care about our happiness. She made dinner reservations for us and nail appointments for my wife and niece. She would greet us if we were outside at a cafe. Just a wonderful asset. My ONLY criticism would be the servers at the Hacienda cafe. The were rude and some were unprofessional. It took forever to get waited on, to the point of us moving to the other cafes in the square. It was hard to believe it was part of the hotel. The servers really need to be trained on efficiency and customer interaction. Beside that, a splendid hotel. We will go back again.

Fabulous hotel, everything you need for a stay is in the room. Very clean, it’s a very modern hotel super smart. It was also very easy to reach from the main highway . There is street parking…area felt very safe…but also a 3 minute walk there is parking..multi story …8 euros per 24 hours Katerina who runs the suites was very professional and very lovely. 10 min walk to the high street, 5 mins from restaurants and coffee shops. Close to the museum.

Cuatro de nosotros (mi esposa y yo, y nuestro hijo y hija) encontraron este hotel absolutamente maravilloso. L’appartement est très bien situé au centre d’Héraklion. Il est à 20 minutes d’auto à partir de l’aéroport. Had the pleasure of staying at Intra Muros. Initially I just came there to settle in, meet some new friends and venture out from there. My first night there I ended up meeting the most amazing people whilst traveling and needless to say I ended up extending my stay with them because the vibe there was so good that I didn’t want to leave. Have to thank the owner of the establishment who was there during the day and all the amazing volunteers that make my stay amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. My first day there I was invited to go on a sunset walk by David which led to me getting to know every one who was there which ended up at an amazing Greek Mexican fusion restaurant. After dinner which we ended up going out around town. David is a volunteer staying at intra muros and does a couple of hikes and tours around the area and around. If anyone needs any food option or advice on the local eating and drinking spots he’s your man. My most memorable moment staying at the hostel was the hike that we did up to the aqueduct and the second hike we did which ended at a winery for a tasting and charcuterie. Safe to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I’ll definitely be back next year. Thank you again to everyone who made my stay wonderful. Until next time.
