What a super place to stay! Our family of four found it tremendous. The cabin is set up very well in terms of storage, beds etc, but also has other touches that make self catering so much easier, like providing washing up liquid, salt etc etc. The owner was charming and knowledgeable about the area. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on our first night there - but the views out across endless fields of ponies across to the snow capped mountains kept us happy for the rest of our time there! We have already recommended this place to friends. So close to Road 1, but without it being built up or even knowing how close the road is! Wonderful!

Loved having a clean, warm home with an amazing view and location. Loved having supplies like washing up liquid and toilet paper provided. Loved the friendly owner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We visited the Farmers Guest Houses in July of 2021. We had 2 of the small cottages and based on the reviews, the larger farmhouse would have been better for our group of 7 but it was not available. These cottages are perfect for 2 people and possibly 3. We had 4 in one cottage and it felt very cramped for our group. However, the location is beautiful. Located on a working farm. The land and animals were beautiful. The kitchen was cute and the cottage was clean and nice. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our night there.

Lovely, peaceful cabin just off the route 1. The location is beautiful with a view of the endless fields and horses. The cabin was warm and cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. The hosts are very welcoming and took the time to greet us and explain everything when we arrived. A very comfortable stay- highly recommend!
