I booked via trip.com to enjoy the easy management of bookings and discounts. The hotel contacted me soon after confirmation of booking via email and whatsapp. Scenery was needless to say - beautiful and serene. Service was 100/100. Truly enjoyed every moment and were well taken care of from check in, to villa, to joining spa/ all activities until the moment of checking out. Special thanks to the recreation staff Jate, who took us for a walk around the hotel, sailed us out to the ocean and took lots of nice photos! Very kind hearted and humorous! Shout out to our villa host, Abby, who curated a memorable stay for us, giving my fiance a special birthday surprise, and always taking care of us for our itinerary and booking transportation/ restaurants! Thanks to the in-villa dining staff, Bungie, for hosting us a memorable private dining experience at the infinity point. Spa was good as always, with nice villa for each couple and outstanding service and massage skills, as well as well-being rituals. 10/10 recommend and would definitely come back!

Review: A Beautiful, Design-Led Oasis in Fisherman’s Village We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to. The Highlights Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me. The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music. Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after. Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues. Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress. We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time. Dining & Logistics We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment. One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry. Overall Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

Our expectations were high and in the beginning it really seemed to be living up to them. First of all the staff is incredible - polite, smiling and helpful. The management was thoughtful and caring and the cleanliness was of the highest standard. When trying to use the pool during the day you will find it's impossible. Thai heat simply makes it unbearable and there's absolutely no cover from the sun - in my opinion poor design of the pool area that should have been considered during construction. Another thing is ordering a cocktail by the pool you get it in a plastic cup for water with decoration being a single piece of pineapple. Even the cheapest bars I used to visit would try harder to decorate the cocktail and in my opinion for the price we paid here it definitely shouldn't be served like this. Just seems like low value for money - same goes for the restaurant: We were told there was a barbecue event at the beach but actually it was only the normal menu of the restaurant just like every other day - price is simply too high for the presentation of the food which was just average. Breakfast was also underwhelming and a huge issue for me was the taste of the coffee! I don't know if it's due to desalinated sea water used as drinking water but americano had a horrible salty taste that was impossible to drink. In my opinion bottleded water must be used for the espresso machine because as such it is undrinkable. Finally the location of the resort itself isn't the best, the beach is tiny and rocky and to get anywhere you need to be driven in a buggy which you need to book and then wait. Many times I've witnessed peaople frustrated and give up on waiting for it and walk instead, as we done a few times also. Unfortunately overall I wouldn't plan on returning again even though the staff is exceptional.

Amazing stay at Garrya! Exceptional service, stunning sunrise views from the villa, and a great location not far from Fisherman’s Village, Chaweng, and Cheongmon Beach. Loved the daily in-room snacks, birthday surprise with cake, and the warm smiles from staff. The private beach doesn’t have the softest sand, but is very beautiful and perfect for peace and quiet. Buggy service was always proactive. Highly recommend self-driving for convenience.

El hotel es realmente lindo! El servicio de recepción es muy bueno, el desayuno es delicioso, la sala de desayunos es hermosa y el servicio es muy entusiasta. ¡No encontré ninguna discriminación como dijeron otros! ¡Puedes contactarnos a través de la aplicación del hotel! ¡La noche siguiente incluso nos cambiaron a una villa con vistas al mar! ¡Hay muchas bebidas gratis en el minibar! ¡Las galletas de mango seco y coco que nos proporcionaron estaban deliciosas! La cama era muy cómoda! ¡Vale la pena recomendarlo! ¡Cuando hace buen tiempo, puedes ver el mar tricolor desde la habitación! El hotel es realmente hermoso!

Another Amari disappointing stay. first was amari hua hin and 2nd is this hotel. stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago. location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area. when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow. the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that. breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out.. they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that. with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

La tranquila atmósfera y un excelente servicio hacen que mi estancia sea deliciosa. No puedo esperar a volver para mi próxima vacación.

We booked the All Inclusive package at Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa through Trip.com, but unfortunately the experience did not match what “all inclusive” usually means. At check-in we were told that our “all inclusive” included only two dishes per person for lunch and dinner, plus breakfast the next day. This was very surprising, because we paid significantly more specifically for the full package. The administrator also informed us that desserts were included and that our son could order ice cream anytime. However, at lunch the waiter said desserts were not included, and only after calling the manager were we allowed to take one dessert for free “as an exception”. The sauna was also not included, even though we expected it to be part of an all-inclusive stay. For dinner, the all-inclusive menu in the seaside restaurant was extremely limited compared to the regular menu, so we could not find anything suitable and had to go to the main restaurant instead. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, but later at the beach bar we were unexpectedly told that drinks were no longer included, which had not been explained in advance. What made the experience even more disappointing is that we previously stayed at another Marriott property — Le Meridien Khao Lak — where the All Inclusive package was absolutely outstanding. It included multiple à la carte restaurants, a full buffet with unlimited dishes, drinks, and desserts, and overall was far superior — while actually costing slightly less than what we paid at Renaissance Koh Samui. Overall, although we paid several times more for the All Inclusive package at Renaissance Koh Samui, what we received was only two dishes per meal, a very limited menu, almost no included desserts or drinks, and inconsistent information from the staff. Unfortunately, it was far from the Marriott-level all-inclusive experience we expected and not worth the extra cost.

Amazing resort! Couldn't Reccommend it highly enough! I see the effort of the staff every day with the fruit and water around the pool to all guests and the environment so well kept. They even provide a small treat before sleep on the bed waiting and throughout our stay the upmost care and attention to all needs of their customers. We stayed in the pool villa 2 bedroom style house and it was unbelievable. The Chinese new year spread and events were also very nice as we live in China as expats! Really wish people to pay attention to this resort! 5☆

El parque del hotel en su conjunto es muy bonito y la piscina es muy buena; la playa no es de arena tan fina, pero puedes adentrarte en el mar y remar en barco hasta la isla de enfrente. El agua es muy poco profunda durante la marea baja. ¡Pero debes prestar atención a la seguridad! Me alojé en una villa con vistas al mar, que es puro estilo tailandés, con estructura de madera y ecología relativamente original. Sin embargo, es inevitable que haya insectos, pequeñas hormigas y algunos insectos desconocidos, las instalaciones del hotel son un poco viejas y la ducha; el cabezal para bañarse todavía está roto. El cabezal de la ducha no podía detener la tubería de agua; pero la habitación estaba limpia y el personal de servicio fue muy amable y amigable. No hay muchos tipos de desayuno, pero es suficiente para gente como yo que se contenta con el café. No está mal. La ubicación del restaurante de desayunos es particularmente buena. Puedes comer mirando al mar, lo cual es muy bueno. La ubicación del hotel no está lejos del centro de Samoui, por lo que salir a comer es más conveniente. Hay muy pocos chinos. Parece que solo nuestra familia es china, la mayoría son turistas extranjeros. La relación precio/rendimiento está bien.
