Review: A Beautiful, Design-Led Oasis in Fisherman’s Village We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to. The Highlights Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me. The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music. Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after. Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues. Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress. We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time. Dining & Logistics We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment. One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry. Overall Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

¡Un lugar inolvidable con un toque de magia! El Jungle Club es simplemente increíble e impresionante; no hace falta decir más. La vista es espectacular: desde la terraza y la piscina infinita, se puede contemplar el mar turquesa y la exuberante naturaleza. Este lugar combina a la perfección relajación, belleza y una sensación de exclusividad. La piscina con vistas al mar es un verdadero punto culminante, perfecta para desconectar y disfrutar del momento. El servicio también fue muy amable y atento. Sin duda volveré; ¡este lugar es una visita obligada para cualquiera que viaje a Koh Samui!

Garrya Tonsay Bay fue un oasis hermoso y tranquilo en Koh Samui. Nos alojamos un par de noches y nos encantó la variedad de actividades incluidas, desde yoga y muay thai por la mañana hasta clases de circuito, paddle surf y snorkel; todo muy bien organizado. El restaurante era excelente; disfrutamos de la cena ”Sabores del Norte de Tailandia”, y el desayuno buffet fue uno de los mejores que hemos probado. El personal fue increíble, increíblemente amable y atento a cada detalle. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente este relajante refugio!

Amazing resort! Couldn't Reccommend it highly enough! I see the effort of the staff every day with the fruit and water around the pool to all guests and the environment so well kept. They even provide a small treat before sleep on the bed waiting and throughout our stay the upmost care and attention to all needs of their customers. We stayed in the pool villa 2 bedroom style house and it was unbelievable. The Chinese new year spread and events were also very nice as we live in China as expats! Really wish people to pay attention to this resort! 5☆

En general estoy bastante satisfecho, sobre todo por la calidad a este precio. El hotel tiene su propia playa y ofrece actividades gratuitas como remo, lo cual merece mucho la pena. Solo se puede decir que el sabor del desayuno y el almuerzo está bien. Vale la pena mencionar que hay empleados que hablan chino allí, por lo que la comunicación es más fluida. Desafortunadamente, tuve que tomar un vuelo, así que no revisé cuidadosamente los artículos del hotel. Cuando quise hacer el check out, dije que no podía encontrar la bolsa de lavandería porque estaba hecha de tela y tenía que pagarla. . Mi sugerencia es verificar cuidadosamente la noche antes de partir y comunicarse con tiempo si tiene alguna pregunta, para evitar apresurarse y no tener tiempo suficiente para comunicarse y resolver problemas :(

El hotel es precioso, acogedor y rodeado de vegetación. La habitación S07 estaba cerca de la playa. Es un edificio de dos plantas con cuatro habitaciones. Estábamos en la segunda planta. No oímos a nadie, y la terraza es compartida entre dos habitaciones, pero nunca vimos a nuestros vecinos; además, la terraza es amplia. La habitación era fantástica, de estilo tailandés, con madera por todas partes, incluyendo el suelo y los azulejos del baño. Reservamos una habitación con bañera y ducha con puerta. Creo que nunca nos habían limpiado tan bien. Me gustaría felicitar al empleado. Fue simplemente perfecto. No solo limpió, sino que lo dejó todo impecable: vasos, toallas y albornoces; ni un solo grano de arena. Muchísimas gracias. Las camas son cómodas, y la ropa de cama y las toallas son blancas y nuevas. El aire acondicionado es un poco ruidoso, pero está muy bien ubicado y no da directamente en la cama. Para mí, este es el factor más importante a la hora de elegir un hotel. Los desayunos son deliciosos: café, té (que se puede preparar en tetera), bollería, huevos, sopas, cocina tailandesa y algunos platos europeos. Los croissants estaban fantásticos. Mucha fruta. También había platos de marisco. La playa es preciosa, pero hay algunas rocas y algas a la derecha, así que todo el mundo se mueve hacia la izquierda, por eso está un poco concurrida. Es importante tener en cuenta que hay discotecas cerca con música a todo volumen casi toda la noche, y aviones sobrevuelan la zona; el primero a las 7 de la mañana, como un despertador, y el último sobre las 10 de la noche. No vuelan de noche. Hay un mercado cerca, muchas cafeterías y un centro comercial. En general, el hotel, a pesar de estar en pleno centro y cerca de las discotecas, combinaba zonas verdes con un entorno tranquilo y estaba impecablemente limpio. Lo recomiendo. En resumen, es...

Ni lo dudes. ¡Este es un gran hotel para familias con niños! La playa está limpia y el litoral es amplio. Esto es importante, ya que en Samui muchos hoteles simplemente están vallados de la playa con un muro de hormigón. Esta es una excelente manera de acceder a él. También deliciosos y variados desayunos y una fresca piscina de varios niveles. El personal es muy amigable para los niños. No hay ruido de la calle principal y está bien limpio. Hay tiendas cerca y a lo largo de la playa puedes caminar hasta otras cafeterías de tu elección. Nos gustó Cactus Café.

Another Amari disappointing stay. first was amari hua hin and 2nd is this hotel. stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago. location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area. when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow. the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that. breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out.. they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that. with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

Habitaciones amplias, limpias y fragantes. Un baño muy grande con ducha y bañera. Hay batas y pantuflas. Tranquilo, no se oye nada la ciudad ni las fiestas. El personal es de buen carácter. Desayunos muy variados y de calidad. Importante: este hotel está ubicado en un remanso, por lo que no hay oportunidad de disfrutar del mar y su profundidad (al menos durante la temporada alta, abril). Resulta que es como un baño de mar en el hotel. Para nadar en el ”agua grande”, es necesario caminar por la playa más cercana al centro de Chaweng. de 13 a 15 de la tarde happy hour: dos cócteles por el precio de uno. Y descuentos en el menú del mediodía. Me gustó mucho todo, todos contentos :) Ah, y el hotel es sólo para adultos, eso fue una gran ventaja para nosotros 🤪
