Oak Bay Beach Hotel is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, which made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, the high standard of hygiene and the great service really stood out.

I would like to share my experience at this hotel are clean, we manged to get free upgrade to suite. The location is very convenient for accessing various tourist attractions. Directly across the street, you'll find ramen, Subway, Burger King, and several other dining options. It's just a 5-minute walk to Government Street and a shopping mall. The hotel offers a complimentary premium coffee and hot chocolate maker for guests. Although breakfast is not included, you can enjoy delicious meals at The Ruby, a well-rated restaurant conveniently situated next to the lobby. If you plan to cook, the nearest grocery Supermart, located 1.2 km away. The Prime of Whale booking site is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. From Hotel to Swartz bay ferries terminal bus ride is 1hr, avoid 430pm to 6pm may takes up to 90mins to reach. The butchart garden is about 45mins bus ride from our hotel bus stop 180m away from our hotel. The Fisherman’s Wharf Marina is approximately a 20-minute walk away, allowing you to take plenty of photos along the way.

Our family stayed at the night on the last day of Labour Day long weekend, so we felt less busy. It’s a good stay for going to Botanical Beach at Port Renfrew. The Ella beach nearby is awesome for sunset. The room is spacious for four of us. We are happy to see lots tiny fishes and 6 seals playing in the hotel private harbour. We did not use the hotel pool coz it looks not so clean. However we enjoyed the complimentary 1 hr tandem kayak very much. See lots wild lives.

The location of this hotel is superb! We took Uber direct from Victoria Airport to hotel only 37 mins. Connector bus terminal just right at the corner which we took on the way back direct to Vancouver Airport. It is right at the center of downtown, walking distance can reach major Victoria's key tourist destinations and very accessible to many eateries nearby. The hotel is clean and simple, but not too many facilities. Only have one Starbucks and a Pizza corners serving breakfast and pizza in evening. But with the accessible location, its all good. I will definitely return since its really a convenient location with value for money room rate.

The room was a bit cramped, lacking a second bedside table, and the bathroom was very tight. The bed and bedding were excellent. It is nice to find a choice of thick and thinner pillows. The Courtyard cafe needs more seating. The parking fee was high. A few negatives but they are mostly outweighed by the excellent downtown location within walking distance of everything we had planned to see and do. We would probably book this hotel again and would recommend it to friends.

El hotel está muy bien, hay supermercados y comida en el área cercana El Samsung Hotel es bueno para el puerto, cerca del puerto de la ferry, y la ventaja es la desventaja es cerca del aeropuerto. La noche oirá el sonido del avión Y es que hay tantas habitaciones con servicio de ascensor. El tiempo de salida de la mañana no puede entrar en el ascensor durante mucho tiempo

I felt it was odd that they didn't provide free parking with their rooms at such a remote location. There is a pool next door available for about $45 however it closes at 7pm on Friday and Saturday. It appears on the website it is included but there is a link showing the costs. There is no shopping yet in the location. The pro shop did not have any medium or large ladies shirts available and I couldn't see any golf balls with Bear Mountain Logo. The room and view were amazing. Staff was wonderful. They played soft music in the restaurant in the evening. We enjoyed the hot tub outside in the garden. Go there to golf; bike or quiet time.

This was a nightmarish trip, 1st I had asked for a room on the highest floor possible, with a view of the Harbour, I am a photographer and made the trip to Victoria to get some great photos of the inner Harbour. I got a room on tenth floor overlooking the parking lot and side street. The windows were so dirty it was hard to see anything, in my eyes I was ripped off, I am not going to to stay at any Merriott hotels, at the time of my booking it said they had a buffet breakfast and when I arrived they told me there is no buffet breakfast just a restaurant on site, parking was said to be free self parking. I was charged $29.40 / night to self park my truck.

We had a great stay here! The building itself is older, but it’s very obvious that the hotel has been newly renovated. Everything felt clean and fresh , the room was spacious, the furniture looked brand new, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights for our family was the game room, which was perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The amenities were also excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. A huge bonus was the free EV charging, which made our trip even more convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

La experiencia fenomenal en este hotel sorprendente. Todo el personal era tan dulce y sorprendente. El escritorio frontal indio nos consoló a media noche a las 4:00 cuando pensamos que el hotel era ******* (no era sólo nosotros). El hotel ofrece ursos de goma gratis en el lobby, y cuando pedimos más, nos dieron un saco completo!!! (1 kg, vendiendo por 13 dólares en Amazon) Los gomas son también de buena calidad que se funden en mi boca cuando los pones. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy agradable. El personal también nos ayudó a asustar un fantasma, dormimos como un bebé la segunda noche después de bañarse en el tubo. no ac fue un buen buen chico. 🤞🤞😩😩
