A Hidden Gem in Tuscany – Truly Special We absolutely loved our stay at I Parigi Corbinelli Residenze. This place is truly something special. The residence itself is a charming historic property that has been passed down through generations since the 1500s, and you can feel that beautiful sense of heritage the moment you arrive. The entire compound is incredibly gorgeous, peaceful, and full of character — it feels like a private Tuscan retreat. We arrived later than the official check-in time, but the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. He even called his son to come and help check us in despite the late hour. That level of hospitality really touched us. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The hot water was excellent, the heating system worked perfectly, and we had a beautiful terrace to enjoy the surroundings. Everything felt cozy yet elegant. One of the highlights is the garden and breakfast area. Breakfast is simple but perfect — everything you need for a wonderful start to the day, and enjoying it while looking out over the peaceful garden made the morning feel magical. Another big plus is the very safe parking inside the property, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling. Honestly, the value for money here is incredible. The price they charge is almost underrated for such a beautiful place — it truly deserves more recognition. We also loved that there is a resident dog who played with our dog, which made the stay even more special for us. If our itinerary hadn’t been so packed, we would absolutely have stayed another night. This place is the perfect Tuscan getaway, and we will definitely return next time we are in the area. The studio is beautiful with a large bedroom, an outdoor veranda and a bathroom including a Jaccuzi bath for two and a sauna. The flat is only 25 minutes walk from the centre of Florence - but away from all the crowds and surrounded by restaurants that are a fraction of the price of the touristy ones in the centre. Also - and this is a huge bonus - there is a space you can leave your luggage safely after you check out of your room if your train or plane is later in the day. Its a lovely romantic room for a couple - after walking around Florence all day you can relax your muscles in the sauna and then soak in the Jaccuzi. The only tiny things missing from the room - there are no instructions for either the Sauna or Jacuzzi and it takes quite a lot of trial and error to work them out, It would also be good if a microwave could be added to the room - meals in Italy are often huge leaving leftovers to take home with you. And the Veranda is perfect for having dinner and a glass of wine on - but there is no way of heating up any food, Other than that the room is perfect and we would definitely come back

A pesar de que la recepción estaba abierta hasta medianoche, no había personal cuando llegamos. Solo pudimos entrar porque otro huésped había dejado la puerta principal abierta. Una vez dentro, la recepción estaba abierta, pero completamente desierta, sin nadie que nos atendiera. Debido al considerable retraso del tren, no pudimos comunicar nuestra hora de llegada con antelación, pero, en cualquier caso, no recibimos ningún correo electrónico del hotel con las instrucciones de acceso. Solo después de contactar con el gerente por teléfono a través de la aplicación Trip nos dieron instrucciones sobre cómo recoger la llave de un panel, que incluía el número de habitación. Entiendo la opción de auto check-in cuando está bien organizada y comunicada, pero en este caso, parecía una solución improvisada para suplir la ausencia de personal, sin ofrecer ninguna ayuda real al huésped. La habitación cuádruple tenía varias deficiencias evidentes: las lámparas de noche no tenían bombillas, el frigorífico estaba completamente vacío a pesar de que figuraba como artículo de consumo con agua, y solo había toallas de baño básicas, sin prestar atención a la comodidad mínima esperada. La gestión de los servicios adicionales resulta aún más desconcertante: la única opción para bebidas calientes es una máquina expendedora exterior, una solución que no refleja una atención especial a la calidad del servicio, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que la recepción interior está presente pero sin usar. En general, se observa una clara falta de gestión y atención al cliente. Es una verdadera lástima, ya que el establecimiento goza de una excelente ubicación y tiene un gran potencial, pero tal como están las cosas, el nivel de servicio ofrecido no cumple con las expectativas ni con lo anunciado. Lo único positivo es que dormimos bien, pero esto no compensa los numerosos problemas graves que encontramos.

The guest house location is so convenient, near the train station and only a few minutes' walk from most of the famous sightseeing points and shops. . We received detailed and clear instructions for entering the house, so the check-in procedure is completely self-service, offering the highest flexibility and autonomy that we wanted. The host also generously offered us luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which is perfect for visitors planning a multi-city trip. We must also add our recommendations for the restaurants along Via Venezia—so close to the guesthouse and so tempting that we wanted to try them all (a pity we didn't stay longer and sample more).

Pros: great location, just a few steps from a few must see of the city. Cons:the noise of morning workers cleaning or making deliveries in the morning (7-8am) and tourist making their way through the alleys and streets to or from hotels, bar, etc. will carry to tour room... maybe disrupting your sleep. Also, if you're going to arrive after the reception closes it can get tricky or stressful as you have to reach out an on-call reception person (in my case it took 3 dials in to hear from them, I got delayed 20min. on the road and the person left and have to call again). The lock of my room and for the constant slamming of doors rooms seem to be a bit tricky to operate. Finally, the safe in my room was looked at my arrival, so I couldn't use it. Not the best value and wouldn't recommend it.

Even with the window closed, you can hear the sound of every passing tram. It is no coincidence that earplugs were prepared, although they cannot improve the vibration caused by the passing tram much. And a personal note. In my previous booking, at other accommodations, the host's communication - despite the fact that there is no personal meeting - usually includes some kindness and personal attention. This was not the case here, although it would have been nice.
