What a disappoin**ent! We booked a superior room, there is nothing superior about it. Stained carpets, dark and dingy. We asked to change to a different room. This was no better. No room to swing a cat. The lighting is so bad you can't sit and read in the room. We were told that the better rooms are already taken although we booked our stay 4 months ago. Pillows are dreadful. asked for more but they aren't sure if they have any. have waited over an hour so far. I tried to book a table to eat but no availability. i asked if there is a bar menu but was told there isn't one. We cannot unpack our suitcases as there is no place to put the clothes. the wardrobe is taken up with a cupboard with fridge, tea tray and safe in it along with ironing board. There are no comfortable seats to sit in the room. Toilet sit doesn't fit the toilet. We are looking to see if we can book another hotel for the rest of our stay as this is making our holiday a complete misery. I have asked to see the manager in the morning, we will see if he materialises. They advertise fresh flowers in the room. there are 2 carnations in an old cola bottle! The receptionist had the cheek to say that if we book to stay here again they will do better. Why would we stay here again?!

Great hotel. Close to the airport which makes things a lot easier for when my plane is in maintenance I can just pop there and back. Friendly staff. The breakfast is made to order so always fresh, rooms are spacious and always spotless.

Lovely hotel and friends staff. Food good especially deserts. Pool a little bit cold This time of year. Bedrooms really nice and clean and comfy. Near the airport But need a taxi to get to the town centre. Not expensive at all. Highly recommend. Would stay again for sure.

Excellent all round! We stayed for 6 nights, the cosy room was very well appointed and serviced, with great en suite, especially the shower. We had a well cooked breakfast every morning, which kept us going until we ate in the evening. We ate at The Farmhouse on 3 evenings, lovely food in good sized portions. Other nights, we ate elsewhere, being dropped off at the hotel door by the local bus. The Farmhouse is in an excellent central village location, peaceful, but with good bus links to airport and ferry. Most of all, the amostphere is so warm and relaxed, and this is due to the friendly, smart and professional staff, always greeting you with a smile! Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Guernsey! Thank you.

We decided upon the Farmhouse as the venue for our daughter’s wedding celebration after assessing the competition. The package wasn’t cheap but represents value given the quality of the setting, ambiance, food & drink and service. I can totally recommend the Farmhouse across the board from the planning with Stuart, through set up and then during the day (and evening). I thought the staff were excellent: professional, calm, efficient and friendly even whilst under pressure. The food was outstanding especially when you consider they were catering for 100+. What I also like is the numerous public rooms ( and gorgeous outside areas) so the guests can spread out. So if you are planning a special occasion, definitely consider the Farmhouse. You may have to stretch your budget but it’s worth it for a once in a lifetime occasion!

Lovely hotel and staff. Very clean and plenty of parking space. BUT beware of late night parties. Prior to our arrival we had been warned of a wedding taking place on the Friday night and the loud music playing until 11.45pm. But there was also a 30th birthday bash taking place on the Saturday night of which we had not been pre-advised. This appeared to be an almighty booze up, again with loud music which went on until just after midnight. Don’t expect any sleep until after midnight on such nights. We quite understand that hotels have to take bookings and keep as busy as possible from a financial point of view, but we thought of Guernsey as a quiet restful destination and we supposed this 4 star hotel would be likewise. Many of the rooms have windows overlooking the concert hall so there was no chance to avoid the racket. If we went back to this hotel we would avoid weekends when I guess there is a greater chance that such parties are taking place.

My wife and I are currently at the Farmhouse Hotel for a three night stay. What can I say! Excellent, excellent,excellent. This hotel is superb. Spotlessly clean. Our room is just fantastic, with everything we need, from bottled water to fruit to homemade biscuits. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who all seem to be from the Philippines. They are all so friendly and efficient. Whatever the owner is paying them they should double it! Our meal in the restaurant was first class . If you're looking for a stay on Guernsey your can't go wrong with a stay at this hotel.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. However given this isn’t a cheap hotel, they failed to mention the cappuccinos are rationed to one per person at breakfast. Also, beware that they will cancel your booking if a wedding opportunity arises after you have booked your hotel room.
