After traveling for 12 hours for a three night stay at he hotel for my wife's 60th birthday surprise, we were put in room 52 next to the smoking point of the hotel, to which it was situated right outside the window, window had no blinds for privacy, other guests stood outside the room window smoking, the drafty windows that did not close or lock properly let in all the smoking fumes. The room was absolutely disgusting, the curtains were torn, wallpaper hanging off the walls, the bathroom was full of mould, tiles were black with mould or pink with soap scum. The bed quilt was absolutely filthy, the covers had pulled away from the quilt to which it revealed the quilt it's self had mould on it. When I went to reception to complain about the room I was told that they had no other rooms available and it was not possible to swap, having been told this my daughter managed to contact the hotel from back home to book a room for the same amount of night from that night to see if they had availability, she was told that they had rooms available. Why was it stated different to me, a guest that had already paid for the room. I woul never advise anyone to stay at this hotel, absolutely disgusting. Totally ruined my wife's birthday. Please see photos of the room.

Ich war eine Woche über Silvester als Teil einer [Wander-]Gruppe hier und hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Nethybridge Hotel! Das Gebäude ist alt, was dem Hotel einen sehr urigen Touch gibt und sehr stimmungsvoll in die Landschaft passt. Die Zimmer sind allerdings mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ich hatte ein sehr bequemes Doppelbett und war ganz verliebt in meine kleine Sitzecke im Erker! Ich mochte auch die verschiedenen Lichtquellen im Zimmer sehr, so dass es auch gemütlich war zu lesen und sich im Zimmer aufzuhalten. Ansonsten wie gesagt alles da, was man braucht: TV mit britischem Fernsehen, Föhn, Schreibtisch, Schrank, Verdunklung der Fenster, Duschbad und genügend Ablagefläche im Bad. Dann gibt es noch das ”Wohnzimmer” für die Gäste im Erdgeschoss, mit vielen Couches und bequemen Ohrensesseln, eine tolle gemütliche Bar und immer auch mit einem offenen Kamin - so tolle Atmosphäre! Dann noch ein schönes Restaurant mit gutem Frühstücksbuffet und ganz fantastischem Abendessen. Eine extra Erwähnung verdienen noch die ganz arg freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter des Hotels, die den Aufenthalt nochmal besser gemacht haben. Rundum ein super Erlebnis.

Ich war eine Woche über Silvester als Teil einer [Wander-]Gruppe hier und hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Nethybridge Hotel! Das Gebäude ist alt, was dem Hotel einen sehr urigen Touch gibt und sehr stimmungsvoll in die Landschaft passt. Die Zimmer sind allerdings mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ich hatte ein sehr bequemes Doppelbett und war ganz verliebt in meine kleine Sitzecke im Erker! Ich mochte auch die verschiedenen Lichtquellen im Zimmer sehr, so dass es auch gemütlich war zu lesen und sich im Zimmer aufzuhalten. Ansonsten wie gesagt alles da, was man braucht: TV mit britischem Fernsehen, Föhn, Schreibtisch, Schrank, Verdunklung der Fenster, Duschbad und genügend Ablagefläche im Bad. Dann gibt es noch das ”Wohnzimmer” für die Gäste im Erdgeschoss, mit vielen Couches und bequemen Ohrensesseln, eine tolle gemütliche Bar und immer auch mit einem offenen Kamin - so tolle Atmosphäre! Dann noch ein schönes Restaurant mit gutem Frühstücksbuffet und ganz fantastischem Abendessen. Eine extra Erwähnung verdienen noch die ganz arg freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter des Hotels, die den Aufenthalt nochmal besser gemacht haben. Rundum ein super Erlebnis.

After traveling for 12 hours for a three night stay at he hotel for my wife's 60th birthday surprise, we were put in room 52 next to the smoking point of the hotel, to which it was situated right outside the window, window had no blinds for privacy, other guests stood outside the room window smoking, the drafty windows that did not close or lock properly let in all the smoking fumes. The room was absolutely disgusting, the curtains were torn, wallpaper hanging off the walls, the bathroom was full of mould, tiles were black with mould or pink with soap scum. The bed quilt was absolutely filthy, the covers had pulled away from the quilt to which it revealed the quilt it's self had mould on it. When I went to reception to complain about the room I was told that they had no other rooms available and it was not possible to swap, having been told this my daughter managed to contact the hotel from back home to book a room for the same amount of night from that night to see if they had availability, she was told that they had rooms available. Why was it stated different to me, a guest that had already paid for the room. I woul never advise anyone to stay at this hotel, absolutely disgusting. Totally ruined my wife's birthday. Ich war eine Woche über Silvester als Teil einer [Wander-]Gruppe hier und hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Nethybridge Hotel! Das Gebäude ist alt, was dem Hotel einen sehr urigen Touch gibt und sehr stimmungsvoll in die Landschaft passt. Die Zimmer sind allerdings mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ich hatte ein sehr bequemes Doppelbett und war ganz verliebt in meine kleine Sitzecke im Erker! Ich mochte auch die verschiedenen Lichtquellen im Zimmer sehr, so dass es auch gemütlich war zu lesen und sich im Zimmer aufzuhalten. Ansonsten wie gesagt alles da, was man braucht: TV mit britischem Fernsehen, Föhn, Schreibtisch, Schrank, Verdunklung der Fenster, Duschbad und genügend Ablagefläche im Bad. Dann gibt es noch das ”Wohnzimmer” für die Gäste im Erdgeschoss, mit vielen Couches und bequemen Ohrensesseln, eine tolle gemütliche Bar und immer auch mit einem offenen Kamin - so tolle Atmosphäre! Dann noch ein schönes Restaurant mit gutem Frühstücksbuffet und ganz fantastischem Abendessen. Eine extra Erwähnung verdienen noch die ganz arg freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter des Hotels, die den Aufenthalt nochmal besser gemacht haben. Rundum ein super Erlebnis.

El desayuno no es un estilo buffet, por lo que necesitas elegir lo que comerás la mañana siguiente. La habitación estaba bien, cómoda cama, pero la ducha eléctrica fue un poco decepcionante. La vista desde la habitación de la mañana fue muy bonita.

After traveling for 12 hours for a three night stay at he hotel for my wife's 60th birthday surprise, we were put in room 52 next to the smoking point of the hotel, to which it was situated right outside the window, window had no blinds for privacy, other guests stood outside the room window smoking, the drafty windows that did not close or lock properly let in all the smoking fumes. The room was absolutely disgusting, the curtains were torn, wallpaper hanging off the walls, the bathroom was full of mould, tiles were black with mould or pink with soap scum. The bed quilt was absolutely filthy, the covers had pulled away from the quilt to which it revealed the quilt it's self had mould on it. When I went to reception to complain about the room I was told that they had no other rooms available and it was not possible to swap, having been told this my daughter managed to contact the hotel from back home to book a room for the same amount of night from that night to see if they had availability, she was told that they had rooms available. Why was it stated different to me, a guest that had already paid for the room. I woul never advise anyone to stay at this hotel, absolutely disgusting. Totally ruined my wife's birthday. Please see photos of the room.
