We were very disappointed with our stay and the cleanliness of the hotel. I have attached photos that speak for themselves. I complained daily when we first got there and my room was still not cleaned. It does not have daily house keeping and we had to chase them to change our beds or towels. The food was below average and this is certainly not a 4 star hotel, 3 at best. What was great about this hotel was the sea view, the bar staff and the kids entertainment. Without this I think our holiday would have been a disaster. We also booked with Balkan and they didn't have enough seats for our hotel transfer and my 6 year old son had to sit on the floor in a cramped minibus.

We have been coming to the sea at the Apollo Hotel for three years, but this year 2023. we are not satisfied either with the cleanliness of the hotel or with the food. Only the pools were well maintained.

We are very satisfied with the hotel and the staff :) Very friendly hotel and clean also. Lot to do with children and beautiful beach nearby. Very great animation team in the hotel also. Five points.

A very good hotel for the value money. The staff is friendly, it is obvious that they are tired, but they still provide good service. There are no complaints against the hotel, there are questions for guests who behave unacceptably, accusing the hotel of inconsistency.

I arrived I arrived on Friday, August 11, 2023, everything was nice, the first experience was that we had to pay for the hotel parking, nothing to comment here except that the price is a bit exaggerated for Bulgaria. The hotel looks ok, it is recently renovated. From my point of view, the 3 elevators do not match how many rooms the hotel has. Problems: "cleaning", meaning starting with the cleaning of communal toilets, does not exist or is not done. The hallways and rooms are carpeted, but the vacuum cleaners left behind some piles of hair/dust (I don't know what they are from). To my astonishment, I was surprised when I saw that my door was opened and the trash can was emptied only after 2 days, my reaction to the way to refill the cosmetic products was also fantastic, after they came to change them after two days, they only changed my shower gel for one person. I think the cleaning people found an open bottle in the bathroom (with water in it) and thought I still had shower gel. Moving on, if you want to take a shower, you have to divide your towel so that you can use it, for example, for 4 days, I divided it into four. It was disgusting that the towel is disposable, I'm bald and I wiped my head and it was already wet... the toilet in the bathroom I'll leave it to you to appreciate, I'm attaching a picture of the shower drain, toilet lid. The swimming pool/swimming pools are ok, but the reception advised me (as if I would ever come here again) to bring towels from home... The bars are ok, but they still need to learn: for example, if you ask for a "gin and tonic" about everywhere I've been it's made from one part "gin" and two to three parts "tonic water", here it's made from gin with mineral water.... The beach can be reached by a train, don't expect it to drop you off in front of the hotel beach, and don't expect to see the sunrise, the train operates between 09:00-17:00. The beach is like the beaches in Constanta, you can't walk among the sunbeds..., it only has two WCs (of the ecological plastic ones...), and if you want to go to the beach, the hotel staff recommends that you bring towels from home. The food as well as the entertainment is ok, but the staff's friendliness is zero. For children they have a minidisco every evening, after which there is a disco for adults. I do not recommend the experience for which I paid a rather generous amount, I for one would not come again even if I had nowhere else to go.

Rooms clean, beds so comfy. Bathroom not cleaned. Been here 8 days beds not changed yet. Towels changed after 7 day because we asked. Bathroom not clean. Food not good had to eat out. Same food everyday. No English everything and everyone is Romanian. That’s all they care about. Absolutely don’t come if your English

We checked into the room unfortunately it was very dirty, the carpet was stained, the room was not vacuumed even the bedding was not changed, in addition on the balcony you could find old moldy food I do not recommend this hotel. There was one person at the front desk who barely spoke English, whom he could not even help resolve the situation, we had to wait until the next day for cleaning.

At the end of our visit when we had to return in the cards and had already paid for everything, they demanded more money and came up with nonsense reasons and said we hadn’t even paid for an entire person even though we had. We had texts to prove it and they had set up beds for all of us and prepared everything for 3 people, yet said we only payed for 2 and that they had no idea we were 3 people. We paid for 2 adults and one under 18. They kept changing their minds and reasons and kept us at the hotel until we paid 200 Bulgarian extra. They didn’t call a taxi until the very last moment because they knew we were pressured on time regarding our flight. Also a lot of the food tasted like ******** and they had seagulls everywhere that would steal food, fly in peoples faces and even ruined a lamp. Our lights, shower head and toiletseats were broken and we told the reception to fix it several times and they kept stretching it and wouldn’t fix it. We ran out of toilet paper and soap and they also didn’t give us any of that even though we asked several times. They didn’t have enough cards for all of us so we got stuck outside our room many times and housekeeping never came and cleaned our room. The pool and outside areas reeked of sewer most the time and the floor was sticky and slippery at the same time. The fitness room was sweaty and moist and had no ventilation or air condition even though we asked every day for them to turn it on. The water in the pool had a good temperature though.
