Classic Landzeit in Austria. Moreover, this one is located by Lake Mondsee, so it has a wonderful backdrop for sitting on the terrace. It is a short distance from Salzburg and is therefore often full of guests. Everything as always fresh and tasty, only the interior deserves renovation.

we have visited this place for years as it is always open. value used to be great but steadily increasing prices are now causing me to drop it from being one of my regulars. ok, it is not busy now, with areas roped off, and very few staff , who now appear to be unhelpful and brusque. when we went to pay, the cashier just put in the info and asked for card. price was higher than expected (lucky i checked) to find that my grandson, who has something from the childrens menue (cost 7.90€) was being billed for 24.90€ for a top of the range meal. cashier insisted that is what we had, and i would not authorise payment stating that it is not what he had. eventually, she stalked off and then came back and changed to the correct amount. i do not know it it was a genuine mistake, but being made to look a fool infront of other customers, was a bit embarrassing. the place has now lost a regular.
