Al igual que nos ocurrió en Venecia los NH no son como en España. Es un hotel correcto pero en absoluto llega al nivel de España. A destacar su magnifica ubicación y la buena relación calidad precio, al menos en la fecha en la que fuimos. Esta ubicado en un antiguo palacio y las zonas comunes son muy bonitas, al igual que la terraza de la azotea. La gente de recepción era bastante amable y hablaban español. Como puntos a mejorar básicamente la habitación, lo cual es lo mas importante, pequeña y ruidosa. Con una especie de ruido constante que creemos procedía de la ventilación realmente molesto, a lo que se añade el ruido de la calle al estar las ventanas fatalmente aisladas. La cama correcta, nada del otro mundo. Y para terminar una cosa que no me había pasado en ningún sitio. La calefacción se encontraba limitada tanto en horas como en temperatura, y pasamos autentico frío ya que fuimos en Enero y en la calle por las noches había 0 grados. A lo que hay que añadir de nuevo el desastroso aislamiento de las ventanas, por donde ademas de ruido también entraba frío. En definitiva bien, pero nada del otro mundo.

Este hotel es fantástico. Este hotel es un pequeño que ofrece tanto a sus huéspedes. Nos quedamos aquí por 6 días, por lo que reservamos una suite. El cuarto era grande con mucho dormitorio y sentado, así como un gran espacio de armario y un hermoso baño. El concierge fue muy bueno. El concierge nos ayudó con planes de viaje, organizando un gran guía de viaje, y haciendo grandes recomendaciones para la cena. Estaba en una ubicación excelente - cerca de la estación de tren y el Duomo. Disfrutamos de jugar billar y tomar una copa en el bar la noche. Este será el hotel que reservaremos cuando regresemos a Florencia. Todo fue maravilloso.

El hotel está a 10 minutos a pie de la estación de tren. Debido a que Florence SMN está en el casco antiguo, se recomienda tomar un taxi si presiona la casilla. Entre 7 y 9 euros. Siempre revise estas reseñas de hoteles, es demasiado largo y demasiado pequeño. Sala de patio y más. Tengo que corregirlo aquí. En primer lugar, el hotel pertenece al hotel de cinco estrellas LEADING Hotel. En segundo lugar, la casa del hotel en sí es un edificio histórico. Más de doscientos años de historia. En tercer lugar, el hotel se renovó recientemente en 2019. En la actualidad, algunas habitaciones de Ctrip no están actualizadas. Cuarto, la entrada del hotel es Lu, la puerta es Cartier, al lado de BV, Bulgari, GUCCI. Camine hasta la Plaza de la República durante dos minutos. Ve al viejo puente de Vignano durante diez minutos. Very good and charismatic place right in the middle of everything in Florence: shops, museums and restaurants, you can get anywhere within few minutes of walking. The front desk in very limited time arranged for us a short (we stayed 4 nights only), but not easy to execute program including a day in Chianti with 2 private winery visits (wineries from my list) and provided us with plenty restaurant recommendations. Which truth be told turned out to be better than couple of restaurants we found ourselves searching and reading reviews. The minuses. We were staying in a suite on the 2nd floor, which in Vecchietti is actually quite high due to high ceilings on each floor. The windows were to a side street and upon arrival we were assured that the windows are soundproof. But every night we were woken-up several times first by various partygoers returning back to the hotels/apartments and next by communal services collecting the garbage. The shower is tiny, has stone tiles floor and a big window that saw better times, which is letting in plenty of air from the outside. Even sitting on the toilet, which is located next to the shower door, (excuse me for details) one can feel cold air blowing from the shower door, which can’t be closed completely. On top of that one of the maids always found it a good idea to leave that window open for the whole day after leaving the room doing the cleaning. This being in November already. So, going into that shower was an ordeal every time.

Llegué temprano y se ofrecieron a guardar mi equipaje en la recepción y lo entregaron en mi habitación, eso es bueno. No hubo información sobre los arreglos del desayuno en el momento del check in, suponen que ya sabes. Mi habitación es una unidad final con una cama individual, lo cual es bueno para mí, el baño es agradablemente grande y disfruté del baño. La ducha también es buena con buena presión de agua. Encontré un par de zapatillas dentro del cajón de la mesita de noche en lugar de en el armario, son cómodas. Las 3 noches enteras que estuve sin Wi-Fi, ¡no pudieron arreglarlo! La toma de corriente tiene tres orificios por lo que es necesario traer el adaptador específico ya que no hay puerto USB para cargar dispositivos. Cambié el mío en el baño porque mis dos adaptadores de pinta funcionaban allí. No había hervidor de agua en la habitación, pero amablemente me entregaron agua caliente en mi habitación cuando la solicité. La segunda noche me dijeron que bajara a buscarlo. La televisión tiene canales de noticias internacionales excepto CNN, pero eso está bien para mí. Los ascensores son eficientes.

La cama del niño está al otro lado de la habitación. Buen espacio, ¡tres maletas no se sienten demasiado abarrotadas! El espacio del baño no es pequeño, el cuarto de ducha es muy interesante, ¡es flexible y retráctil! El aire acondicionado del hotel está un poco caliente y el aire acondicionado está apagado, ¡pero todavía siento un poco de calor! ¡Todo lo demás está bien! Hotel muy rentable.

Charge 70 euro late check-in fee!!! I did my online check-in 2 days prior to arrival & received an email advising me there would be a late check-in fee. I replied advising this was disappointing as I would have booked a different hotel had I known this at time of booking, but did not receive a reply. I paid for my taxi before at 1.50am and checked into the hotel by 2am. Upon arrival there was 1 man at the hotel, I was just given my room key and shown to my room. There was no mention of sorting out a payment the following morning, and if I was told this, I would have sorted it out there and then as I was not tired at the time or if I had a response to my email I would have stayed with my friends on the first night even though I had already paid for my room. The next morning when I went to reception and they did not say anything about my check-in or outstanding payment as I had paid in full at time of booking. On the last night I didn't get any fresh towels or toiletries. When I checked out, the lady at reception told me to pay 70 euro for late check-in. I said the fee was unreasonable since I advised the hotel I'd be arriving around midnight at time of booking and was not told about the fee till 2 days prior to arrival after doing the online check-in which did not disclose the fee either, she started mumbling rude remarks under her breath in Italian when I asked her to show me the fee on their website/ time of booking and she showed me the reception opening hours on their website but was not able to show me the fee anywhere. She insisted this was normal, I said I work for a hotel and it most certainly is not normal to charge a 70 euro late check-in fee when the hotel doesn't have after hours check-in procedures in place. Otherwise they should have a disclosure on the website advising that there is a late check-in fee after hours, but they do not. They just say check-in is available until 13:00. My friends stayed across the road in a stunning boutique hotel and were given an access code with keys to access their room and did not pay a late check-in fee. I explained that we have a safe for people to access keys after hours and we don't charge a late check-in fee either. I was saying the fee is not advertised anywhere and I wanted to see it in writing before I paid anything. She then said they pay 10 euro per hour for someone to stay back and check me in, now they are saying they pay 17.50 euro an hour. I said if I had known this I would have booked a different hotel or stayed with my friends for the first night, even though I had already paid for the room in full at time of booking. I said I was happy to pay 10 euro per hour from 11pm when reception closed to 2am, when I checked in, not 3am that they made up, because of a delayed flight, but was not paying the unreasonable fee of 70 euro, so she told me to take it up with the airline. She then got her colleague to tell me it was 45 euro till midnight and 75 euro after midnight and kept mumbling rud

I stayed at the San Giorgio for two nights with my girlfriend, as we were in town for her birthday. I was already positively impressed when I booked, because the price was great for such a central hotel; obviously, however, a low price can be a double-edged sword, so when we got there (following a 3-minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station) I was a little wary of potential issues with the place – lo and behold, my misgivings were almost entirely baseless. I mean, I'm not gonna lie, the place isn't high-end: it's a little too dark and heavy on curtains/draperies, the toilet in our room was too close to the wall so that it couldn't be opened fully, and the Wi-Fi on the fourth floor was dodgy at timea. What we found, on the other hand, was a very tight-knit staff that was always kind and available, even before our check-in and after our check-out. Moreover, our bed was remade and our towels were replaced every morning, something I don't take for granted in a 3-star hotel. Finally, the 7:30 breakfast was nothing too fancy but did its job very well, especially thanks to the waiters who were always ready to greet newcomers and to offer coffee. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised (I know I sound condescending but my praise is genuine) and I would definitely come back if I were in town for a short period of time.

También me gustaría decir que el desayuno era una mala selección, pero el caballero que trabajó allí fue muy eficiente en mantener los cappuccinos andando y limpiar las mesas para que todos puedan sentarse. No volveré a este hotel y aconsejaré a todos los que sé que no vayan ahí.
