Fantastic meal at Balcomie links last night. Fish tea and steak pie.Plentiful portions and both delicious. Excellent customer service.Would thoroughly recommend. Has been totally renovated and also has new bar area and pool table and darts.New juke box as well

Stayed here with a friend last night after walking Elie to Crail section of Fife coastal path. Staff were all excellent...nothing was too much trouble. We'd booked a twin but room was made up as a double. Within 15mins of mentioning this, it was sorted and complimentary bar drinks offered. Comfy beds, spotlessly clean and great breakfast. We ate dinner in restaurant and fish and chips were very tasty. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and needing a place to stay

We went to the restaurant with friends. Spacious and pleasant dining area. Friendly service. Delicious steak pie and breaded fish. A shame we had no room for the desserts. Great value especially the special offer on fish on Wednesday and Thursday. Good off street parking. Will be back.

Staff are very pleasant, however the quality of food was shocking. The menu was limited and not good value for money. Birthday celebration was soured by our dining experience.

We got married in Crail in March, and chose the Balcomie for both accommodation for our guests over the weekend, and for an informal "do" on the Friday night in the bar/restaurant. Our guests who stayed spoke highly of the rooms, myself and my wife were deeply appreciative of Matt & Gill's help with organising that for them; furthermore, they and their whole team ensured we had an excellent night on the Friday (and indeed post-wedding on the Saturday!) -- the food was great, and the staff were super patient and friendly. A big thank you to all, and we (and all our guests who were there!) recommend the Balcomie unreservedly -- a top spot :)

We came for the food. We visited the restaurant with a "gluten free" relative and were impressed by the range of food available, the excellent "gluten free batter" on both the garlic mushrooms can the classic fish supper, and the knowledge of the staff about their gluten free and other dietary options.

We came for a family dinner and everything was lovely. The food and service were both fantastic! Thank you to Gillian for everything! Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend the Balcomie if you are in the area. The bar is well stocked and the cocktails look fantastic too! We are here often and always enjoy our visits! Thank you.

We had a meal at the Baci Italian pop up at the Bal last night. The food was excellent - the Chicken Milanese was really delicious. All in all a great meal and wine for a good price with lovely staff serving. Really hope that they do this pop up again as we will definitely return!

Myself, my partner and my child visited Baci at the Bal on Valentine’s Day and had a lovely evening. The menu was well thought out and delicious, with good options for adults and little ones, I also thought the addition of family style dishes to share was a great touch. The service and the drinks also deserve a special mention, we were made to feel welcome and were relaxed throughout the meal, thank you Gillian and the FOH team. Looking forward to more theme nights at The Bal moving forward, I would thoroughly recommend. Hopefully I will get a chance to revisit over the weekend, as the pop up is still running on Friday and Saturday night and there’s definitely more on the menu that I am dying to try.
