Allgemein sehe ich eine Diskrepanz zwischen Anspruch/Preis und Wirklichkeit. Das Hotel wurde nett renoviert, Zimmer sind aber sehr klein. Das innere ist sehr ruhig, aber es fehlt etwas an Ambiente (Hintergrundmusik? …). Service nicht auf 5 Sterne Niveau (bsp wurde uns zu keinem Zeitpunkt Hilfe mit unserem Gepäck angeboten, auch nicht, als ein Mitarbeiter zufällig in den selben Fahrstuhl stieg). Lage ist top. Preis aber zu hoch.

Excelente hotel en todos los sentidos. Habitación muy cómoda. La wifi funciona fenomenal y es muy fácil lanzar los contenidos del móvil a la TV. Algunas pegas son por ejemplo, que hay una obra molesta y tremenda delante del edificio. Las almohadas son muy blandas, no sirven para dormir. La bañera y ducha es imposible, es altísima; si no eres una persona joven no puedes acceder fácilmente a ducharte. Se supone que la bañera tiene hidromasaje de chorritos que no funcionan. Es de destacar el fantástico SPA, con sauna, baño turco y una piscina interior que sólo por esto merece la pena. Pero ojo los chorritos tampoco funcionan.

This is a true luxury hotel with some significant history. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are outfitted to a high standard. The location is perfect for touring, with easy walking to the various sites within the old town of Dresden. My wife and I stayed in one of the standard rooms on the top floor, and even with a king bed, it was a spacious room with two chairs, a desk, and entertainment cabinet. The marble bathroom was huge, although if you have mobility issues, getting in and out of the deep tub shower might be difficult. There are many restaurants and bars in the area, so we did not experience either at the hotel. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

Wonderful welcome from the reception as we entered the hotel. ALL of the staff are absolutely super and very professional! The bedroom was a good size, bed comfortable and the soft pillows were dreamy. Coffee machine and coffee capsules were a lovely start to the morning. The bathroom is stunning with a jacuzzi bath which was amazing. The hotel is beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Loved the bar area and enjoyed a few drinks with snacks provided. Had a great night's sleep in the super comfortable bed. Breakfast was very enjoyable, the food was of excellent standard and everything you could wish for. The service was outstanding.

The decor throughout the hotel blended in beautifully with the city of Dresden. What impressed me most was the graciousness and help (I had a lot of questions!) from ALL the receptionists, especially Paula Krausch. When I checked in, I asked her to look at the restaurants I had booked and asked if she had any other suggestions. She asked what type of food I liked and then offered to cancel some of my reservations and book other ones. I then enjoyed 6 wonderful meals during the week!

The hotel is a piece of history . The location is perfect in the heart of the historic district . The staff is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. Don’t miss the huge selection on their breakfast buffet - fresh fruit to some awesome breads
