The hotel is in a good location, the value for money may be good for Switzerland, but is below average in an international comparison. We were particularly annoyed that the otherwise usual very friendly and courteous welcome here failed. The lady at reception gave us our room cards, mentioned where the room was and that was it. No reference to the Hilton status, no question about arrival, parking, etc. In addition, the Garden Inn lacked the ”garden”. Located directly on the main road, there is a seating area next to the entrance on the asphalt, but no flowers or plants. The Kongresshotel across the street and pretty much every other house on the street can do that much better. The room itself wasn't particularly large for a triple room, but had a large bathroom and a balcony (which unfortunately was difficult to access as the bed was directly in front of the balcony door). Breakfast was very good, fresh omelettes made to order, waiters were attentive and helpful. The tourist tax in Davos is remarkable in two respects. On the one hand, the amount of CHF 5.90 per person is record-breaking, on the other hand, it is already for people from 12 !!! years raised. Where is something like that? Oh yes, in Switzerland.

Este hotel está huyendo. Habiendo visto las notas de trip advisor y las fotos bastante flatteosas, me dejé tener y reservar un fin de semana en este hotel , siendo amador de esquí. Primera cosa que hay que notar cuando llegamos: recepción fría y poco amable. Viejo hotel en la decoración muy viejo y extraño. Arrivado a la habitación, mi Dios, qué horror. Muros espesos como el cartonaje, se oye absolutamente todo. Pinturas escalonadas y habitación y baño con escalofríos. Visite du « spa »...une piscine d’eau froide et un sauna fermé (un type très désagréable qui passait m’explique sur un ton ferme que je dois réserver mon entrée au sauna pour y aller là). Bref, encore déçu. Después de un día en las pistas y después de haber viajado 300 km en coche, decidimos comer en el restaurante del hotel. Solicitamos amablemente a la recepción una fundida al queso, y nos respondemos (aun una fría de manera muy desagradable) que no hacen esto aquí....decidamente, eso sigue... Salimos de este hotel malo para encontrar un buen restaurante donde se Aquí está el hotel de la noche a las 23:00, y se comienza una música fuerte. Se organiza una noche con un cantante, sosie d Elton John... Les murs étant très fin, comme du papier, aucun isolement, impossible de se reposer. Je décide d’appeler la réception après avoir patienté 1h tout de même . El receptor me dice que van a hacer ruido toda la noche y que hay que hacer con. Estoy a punto y quiero poder dormir, imposible, mezclar con tapones de orejas. Esta tapada nocturna continuará hasta las 3:30 de la mañana!!!! Un vergüenza!!! Al día siguiente, después de dormir, sólo unas horas, agotadas, mi familia y yo mismo tomamos un desayuno muy mediocre en este hotel. Luego le pedimos que hable con el gerente para explicarle mi descontento al salir. Su respuesta: ”¿Ah? ¿Hacemos ruido? ¿De verdad?” me pregunta, te sorprende. En resumen, no nos molesta el mundo, No hay excusas, no hay gestos comerciales. Nunca estuvimos en un hotel tan mediocre. Fugir para siempre. Los comentarios positivos de este hotel, que probablemente sean falsos. No se preocupe.

Chur Station is about 600m away and can be reached on foot in under 10 minutes. If arriving on public transport, go down Bahnhofstrasse after you exit from station, continue onto Grabenstrasse followed by Nicolaigasse till you reach Kornplatz, turn in at Herrengasse and you will find Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten facing the Pfister fountain. This route goes along the periphery of Old Town pedestrian zone, thus avoiding the hassle of dragging unwieldy suitcases over cobblestoned streets as you’d be on level ground or pavement for most of the way. OVERVIEW: The historic building was originally a guildhall dating back to 1464, it has since been refurbished and converted into a small independent inn. This quaint property is steeped in history and full of quirks: the sloping floors, crooked walls, slanting ceilings and exposed wooden beams all add to its authenticity and charm! ROOM: Each of the 13 rooms has its own unique layout and décor – not all have ensuite facilities so be sure to check the room description when booking online. Classic Twin Room was clean and simply furnished with twin beds; pair of bedside tables & reading lamps; wall-mounted TV over a small desk with lamp & chair; wardrobe; and full-length mirror on wall. Tower Fan came in handy during the summer heatwave. BATHROOM: Retro ‘70s style but clean and adequate in size. Furnished with the usual mirror over wash basin, shower stall and toilet. Faint odour in bathroom at times but not pervasive nor unbearable – perhaps some issues with drainage or plumbing? Shower Stall might be a tight fit for guests of larger build but such compact size is quite normal by Swiss standards, especially in older buildings. There was good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Clean bath linen, toilet rolls, box of tissues and basic toiletries e.g. liquid soap provided. F&B: Breakfast Service is 7:30-10:30 and served in Zunftsaal, a traditional dining room with terrace on the 1st floor. Buffet breakfast comprises small selection of breads with jams & butter, cereals and fruits. Assorted cheeses and cold cuts are available on request. Eggs are prepared à la minute according to your preference. Beverage choices include orange juice, milk, tea & coffee. Situated next to the Reception is Zunftstube, a member of the Swiss Gilde of Established Restaurants. Charming hotel with excellent service! We were expecting an important package and the staff was so generous and helpful! Room was incredibly spacious. The breakfast room is exquisite and it was extremely convenient to the train and town. highly recommend this picture perfect spot.

Como punto de tránsito dentro y fuera de las montañas, este hotel en Chur es muy adecuado. El personal es entusiasta, el servicio es profesional, las condiciones sanitarias del hotel son muy buenas y las habitaciones son lo suficientemente grandes. Si se trata de una estancia temporal de una noche antes de ir a la montaña, es muy adecuada. Las condiciones del hardware son medias, pero como es un hotel de tránsito, los requisitos no son tan elevados. Como la primera ciudad antigua de Suiza, Coira todavía tiene un encanto especial. Es bueno pasar medio día paseando. Además, el cantón de Graubingen, donde se encuentra Chur, es muy recomendable. Hasta ahora, no muchos turistas chinos van a esquiar en invierno y hacer senderismo en verano. Hay Bernina Express y Glacier Express para sentarse, y también puede ir al origen del Rin para ver el cañón y caminar. Zurich también es conveniente en el pasado.
