Solymar Reef Marsa

The hotel is very good, considering that it has 4 stars it is really good. The animation team is great, they entertain and talk. The food is good, it could be better - more choice, something different. The chef is very nice and friendly, all the employees are very helpful and always smiling

low key relaxing hotel.we came here 4 years ago but could not get back due to TUI and covid. This time we flew from Gatwick with TUI and booked hote' through ***********. We were apprehensive coming back but what a surprise, Marsqa Alam airport is now very goo.We landed at 8.50 and were havinfg a meal and a beer in the hotel at 9.15. They kept the dining room open aftr 9 so arrivals coulf get a meal. The room we had we had was lovely.Very comfortable.The food is very good but all buffet. Smart shorts ok in the dining roo for dinner.WE did not go to the snack bar on the beach but I'm told the burgers/shawarma/kebab etc ewre very good The seafood is great, the evening bbq outside is lovely and staff are great.Thanks to Sami and Ahmed. I love the space you have here. the pools are big but the sunbeds are not too close.There are plenty of beds on the beach as well.The restaurant is huge with plenty of space between tables The BIG plus her are the staff.Every single person is hardworking and friendly, from the waiters. the bar staff, the receprion. the room staff and the gardeners. They all laughed at my attempted Arabic, The gardens here are superb. The entertainment team are lovely, special thanks to Aquagym team we enjoyed it a lot. The house reef is suberb we snokelled 6 days out of 14 but whan it was choppy we walked round to Coraya bay which is more sheltered. We had a wonderful time and will be back, even with the 4 hour drive to Gatwick from Stafford

I went to Marsa Alam, to Solymar Reef Marsa for the first time now, in end March-beginning April 2024. Suprisingly clean, attractive, well managed resort in Marsa Alam. Services are exceptional, personnel polite and professional, food great, beach and swimming facilities and seashore location, again, great.

I am returning to this hotel three times in Year. New manager, another level of famous services, excellent food, beautiful underwater world, helpfull staff, simple,but clean rooms, everyday housekeaping, drinking water unlimited.Animation team, many trips,diving centre,fitness and spa,massages. Taxi service to Port Ghalib,Al Qusair And Hurghada.Paradise in the World.

Very nice resort, placed directly at the reef, sorounded by other hotels of the JAZ group. The resort is really nice and clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The 3 pools are clean and well maintained. the food is very tasty and provides new dishes each day. The employees are very friendly and always looking to provide the best service. The room service was super! Mohamed really did a great job. Water and instant coffee was provided each day and even as we drink a lot of coffee we never ran out of it. The pool bar and the bars at the beach are clean and the barkeepers are very nice and friendly and the drinks are tasty. There is always someone of them circling around the pools and asking whether you would like something to drink. Tehy have top dive center at the hotel: Scuba World Divers. You will find reviews about them at Tripadvisor as well. They are really super and they were part of the reason why we booked Marsa Alam for the second time. The whole stay was really pleasant and we enjoyed it very much. Even the guys trying to sell you SPA remembered us from las year and that we told them to leave us alone on the second day. So they did not address us this time :-)
