Agriturismo Tenuta di Mensanello

We organized our wedding party here, and we were super happy about everything! The staff is really friendly and helpful, and we had the best time staying here. We booked the whole villa, and our guests were very satisfied with the place. The place is incredibly beautiful, and we recommend to rent a car to see the medieval towns (especially Siena) nearby. Special thanks to Annarita and Giuseppe for making our stay perfect!

This place is amazing. We got a quick tour of the village, the olive oil press and the winery. The wine tasting was fabulous and the food was quite good. We also tasted several olive oils. One of the best things about this place was there were no crowds. The guide and the wait staff were very professional making the overall experience very pleasant.

This quaint, family friendly agriturismo was a dream come true. The accommodations were perfect with all the necessary amenities for a long stay - coffee, pots/pans, dishes, stove, etc. The pool was a wonderful plus on the 30+ Celsius days. The restaurant and wine was incredible. We did both a wine tasting/tour and a cooking class - both of which were wonderful. The owners were very accommodating for our early check out - settling everything the evening before our departure. The scenery was undoubtedly the most beautiful place I have ever been. I don’t think I can come back to Italy without staying here again!

The service is terrible and ridiculously slow, our table of three waited 2 hours for average pasta and smallest serving of lasagna (literally the size of a small cookie) and super salty and dry. Very disappointed considering the good reviews and location. We left feeling ripped off after paying 88 euros for a really crap meal that took them so long.

We had a very similar experience to John C ( see his review of June 2023). Our host Giuseppe and his assistant Tiago made us feel very special, and gave us wonderful information about the extra virgin olive oil and wine making processes, and then presented an excellent meal. It was a highlight of our private day tour of Tuscany.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of our 2 week holiday. It was a perfect break from the big cities. The estate is beautiful and views are simply amazing. Our rooms were clean with good AC which was so important as temperatures were mid 30s. The pool is just gorgeous with views out over the countryside. We ate here every night as the food was so lovely and reasonably priced and it meant we could relax after days of sightseeing. It was our 20th wedding anniversary whilst we were there and they brought us a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely gesture. We ate pici with ragu, pappardelle with wild boar and the sliced steak which was so tasty. I would definitely recommend staying here, you'll not be disappointed!

Very gentle cookery class making pasta and tiramisu for the (very) uninitiated! Having said that my wife , a great cook, said how much she enjoyed learning to make pasta properly. This was a lovely way to spend an afternoon and evening and the end result was very enjoyable with a stunning view from the terrace. Although we didn’t stay the setting was beautiful and vey peaceful and everyone was obviously passionate about their produce. Next time we will definitely make time for a wine tasting as well.

Beautiful, peaceful setting to learn to make the local Pici pasta, traditional pasta, fresh tomato sauce and tiramisu. After cooking, we enjoyed a lovely meal of local cheeses and meats, our pasta creations plus a delicious ragu from chef Sabrina- all on the terrace overlooking the lovely scenery. Chef Sabrina snd Anna were both patient, gracious and charming . The whole experience was warm and relaxing and we would definitely recommend!
