Hyde Park Apartments

A small and cozy Hotel apar**ent from.Hyde Park. We wanted to stay in a place that is close to most of the sight seeing places in London. Hyde Park is just 6 mins away and loved walking there and weather was beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel room is clean and well maintained. Getting the keys with online access is a bit cumbersome I would recommend for a brief stay.

Great location for Paddington station and Elizabeth line. In a nice quiet street. Room on ground floor was large and well equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs. Room was pretty quiet overall. Very small bathroom though. Too small for me at 6’3”. No switch to turn lights off from the bed. This was in an outer lobby. Checking in process was quite complex and ended up having to phone to gain entry but call was answered very quickly. So no complaints overall. Fairly good value for money for London. Would I stay again? Yes if I had the same room.

I booked this hotel for the beginning on next year, unfortunately due to personal circumstances I had to cancel. When I called the staff at the hotel they were very friendly and kind, telling me exactly who to contact regarding my reservation. I was amazed how quickly the team responded to me, after just one or to emails back and forth it was all sorted. They were nice and very efficient. Top customer services. I couldn't be happier. I do NOT recommend a stay here due to the complex procedure for receiving the access (key)code which required several phone calls at night while we stood helplessly at the entrance trying to get in. Very aggravating and time consuming. In addition the so-called "flat" turned out to be a tiny cramped room located in the basement and was hot--there was no cross ventilation at all from the one barred window. The bed linens were also stained. Shower was too tiny/narrow for any adult! Very expensive for what it was. Only plus was that it was walking distance from Paddington. There are plenty of other small hotels on nearby streets--suggest you check those out instead if you want to stay in this neighborhood.

Gaining access to the bldg. was a nigh**are using the 'app' which was sent to us too late and did not work smoothly necessitating frantic phone calls to gain access to the bldg. and our room. The so called flat turned out to be a very small narrow room in the basement--dingy and hot and unsuited for 3 people. No air circulation, bars on windows, and the sheets (bed linens) were stained). Shower too small and cramped for any adult, We felt cheated paying so much money for a tiny room in a basement. Stay away from this property and instead try one of the many other small hotels on the same street and nearby. They've got to be better than this was!

Booked this via *********** in September 2021 for a planned visit to British Summer Time prior to booking event tickets and train. Just three weeks before, I received a notification to say it had been cancelled. When I contact booking.con they said the apar**ents no longer used them. I was left with a substantial amount spent with no accommodation. *********** offered alternatives but at prices in excess of £1000. When I later looked via *********** the apar**ents where still available but fully booked for my specified dates. The customer service with *********** was appalling and the fact that you are unable to book with confidence that you will not be let down last minute is simply not acceptable. Since reading the reviews it appears I have had a lucky escape as some travellers have turned up and had no booking.

warning this review is accurate the 2bedroom apar**ent = a dirty basement dungeon with weird padding on the walls felt like i was in a prison thr fir door at the back was padlocked shut the windows are so dirty thats why u only see pics with curtains closed the place is dirty in all the main areas bathroom bedroom lounge the tails are not white any more they have dirt stains all over them the door did not lock was not secure also the staff at this place= worst customer service i mean extremely bad they dont care for peoples health the refuse to listen to complaints then organisation skills zero if you want to own a holiday apar**ents the people you rent them to are the reason your able to continue to function so i would trest them like paying guests and not as a burden i will never stay here again

Was given room on top floor with no lift so a lot of stairs. Sink cracked in bathroom. Only two sets of cutlery. Shower very small. Mattress uncomfortable and three pillows for two people. Table wobbly. Noisy doors banging.

It was difficult to get the key and this was quite a way from the accommodation Once in the apar**ent was clean
