I initially booked and paid for this stay back in January but due to ill health I could no longer stay. The stay was put on credit for me and less than a week ago I got in touch asking if it was possible to use the stay this weekend just gone due to a mishap with calendar clashes. With no issues or delays, it was instantly organised for myself and my partner to stay there, and our room was even upgraded a larger room which was available at short notice. I questioned late at night when I arrived where I could park due to uncertainties with signage, and was immediately advised whilst I was still in the car! We stayed in the Lime Tree room and it was beautiful! Very modern, thoroughly clean, and there were even tea, coffee, milk, bottled water and snacks available which was a great finishing touch and a saving grace for the unorganised! The bed was extremely comfortable, the bedding is great hotel quality too. We will be regularly visiting Preston for our sport as we compete in a local Strength & Performance gym, and we absolutely will be back. It’s definitely made us rethink about driving up and down the country on the day, and put us at ease after previous bad experiences. Winkley Square Residences is the place to stay if you are ever in Preston, located in a lovely area, and an even nicer place to rest your head, run by very helpful and genuinely nice people. Hats off to you guys👍🏼

El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. Pero parecía que los hoteles en Blackpool eran bastante caros, siendo inaccionables para estudiantes como nosotros haha. Así que decidimos buscar un hotel en Preston y gracias a tener un hotel tan fantástico IHG. El personal era muy agradable y amigable. La primera vez que se ha hecho la llamada, se ha pedido una tostada de dientes en la mañana del segundo día y la recibimos inmediatamente de la recepción. Nos hemos servido muchas de las instalaciones, ya que sólo teníamos un buffet (desayuno británico) el segundo día de la mañana. Realmente apreciarlo como una persona que realmente ama comer vegetales más que haha de carne.

I go to Preston at least once a month the central Travelodge is my go to hotel in Preston, staff are very friendly and helpful always ensuring my stay is comfortable. The location is perfect easy walking distance to town and transport links. I find the rooms comfortable and clean, crazy for me to set up my remote working this is helped by Travelodge offering a late checkout service. They do a decent breakfast offering good choice and is value for money. I’ll keep coming here while I need to come to Preston.

The decor itself was a little run down and the wallpaper was torn in some places, but other than that the hotel itself was lovely. I stayed in a single room and the bed was very comfortable. I could hear people in other rooms as the walls were a bit too thin, but still slept well thanks to the decent quality mattress and bedding. There was a towel in the room as well as good quality soap and shower gel. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great but otherwise it worked well. The young man that welcomed me in very kindly showed me how to use the shower and customer service was excellent throughout. The free cold breakfast included a range of cereals, orange juice, toast, butter, and jams which was a good selection. Would definitely stay here again.
