We always like to start with the good so here was the good. The staff at Siripanna Villa was friendly, helpful, courteous and spoke fine english. The rooms are spacious with plenty of outlets, and storage. Unfortunately the bad outweighed the good. Here is our list and it lines up with many others: 1). The hotel is past its prime and could use significant renovations. The bathrooms were dark and the beds were HARD AS A ROCK. The massage tables we enjoyed around Chiang Mai would have been a welcome respite rather than the beds. 2). The bugs in the lobby and breakfast area were a bit much, not to mention the stray cat that decided to join us one morning. The breakfast was less than expected compared to the rest of the 4/5 star hotels we have stayed at in Thailand (so far). 3). The location is not convenient to much of the great things to enjoy in Chiang Mai. 2 examples, our 1st day we decided to hit the closest massage as soon as we arrived. We found that the 1.8 mile walk through back streets was a bit much. 2nd, we wanted sushi for our last meal last night. We took a Grab taxi that was almost 300 Baht (for those who count taxi rides in massages, that is 1 extra Thai massage we could have enjoyed!) 4). Our room smelled like mold and there are no washcloths provided in the room. In fairness, Covid may have hit the Siripanna Villa hard as the Italian restaurant that was on the property was permanently shut down. We hope this review is useful to others....PS If you want to experience the BEST elephant farm experience in Chiang Mai you should visit Patara. They provided an INCREDIBLE day for us.

Muy satisfecho el hotel, aunque la habitación es pequeña, pero muy cómoda, el hotel es muy bonito, el servicio está muy en posición, la ubicación está cerca del mercado nocturno de Qing-Mai, hay un pequeño barrio junto a él, y la próxima vez vivirá. Sí, olvidé algo en la recepción del hotel, no estaba claro con urgencia. El hotel también arregló a los empleados chinos que hablarían. Diez minutos antes de que el tren empiece. ¡Gracias!

This unique boutique hotel was lovely in terms of layout, style and elegance. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast included was most adequate. The spa was extraordinarily great value for money, and I would highly recommend having a massage and facial, as it was truly a divine experience. The rooms were well appointed, and look just like the photos online. As it was very hot at the time of year we were there, the air con was greatly welcomed. The big minus for the hotel was the reception experience. On arrival there was general confusion about our booking, the ladies were in the backroom the whole time, and it was difficult to get input on what to do, or where to go. There just seemed constant confusion and a lack of energy at reception overall. There was a lack of local knowledge or guidance, and I expected some really great insights on local restaurants or adventures such as cooking schools etc, but it was not forthcoming. Just a minor thought, but the hotel clothing of the staff also missed a beat. Everyone was in tired looking grey polo shirts. A minor point, but for such a lovely hotel, I thought there could be something more fitting/traditional for the team to wear. Finally the old mercedes was a hoot. Loved being driven to the airport in it. Added to the adventure.

I'm back at this amazing Chiang Mai resort for the fourth time! When I'm in Chiang Mai, Anantara Resort is my number one pick for ”a place to stay”. No matter if I'm here on business or for fun, this place never disappoints. It's right on the Ping River. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and best of all, all rooms have amazing river views! Breakfast here is one of the best in town (in my opinion), and there's a variety of Western and Thai options. Their Lanna Omelet is so good. Try their signature Lanna omelet if you want a taste of fusion-style northern food. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a weekend getaway or a delightful business trip in Chiang Mai. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Chiang Mai next time. Stella job!

La habitación era muy agradable, pero no era muy agradable. El hotel está situado en las antiguas murallas de la ciudad y es literalmente accesible a todo Wats, Mercados nocturnos, Café, Masajes, Salones de Nails, Restaurantes, etc. El personal estaba más allá de la increíble, especialmente Li. Nos recibieron con tanta gentilidad y con todo lo que necesitamos en cualquier momento. No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre su hospitalidad y bondad. También está bien equipado con seguridad a la noche si eso es lo que preocupa a cualquiera. La piscina era un sueño, se sentía como el paraíso. Las habitaciones fueron increíblemente limpias y enormes. Letratamente todo sobre este lugar fue la experiencia ideal. SOLVENTE SUGESTA ESTÁN ESTÁN. ¡Usted tendrá un buen tiempo!

I am currently staying at the Rainforest Boutique hotel. It is such a laid back lovely hotel the staff are amazing so helpful and friendly the rooms are basic, clean and comfortable, but fabulously spacious, well the deluxe room is can't comment on the others as I'm in a deluxe with a super king size bed. Sunken Lanna bath separate shower room and separate toilet, then a separate dressing area. It has two pools. A lovely open air restaurant. Laid in bed on a night you can hear the rainforest noises and the flow from the pool waterfall. It's not far out of the main city a taxi into the city or tuktuk will cost around a 100 bhat roughly £3. It offers a free shuttle bus service to the night market at 8pm each night Mr lucky the bus, come taxi driver is so lovely and full of fantastic information about the history of Chiang Mia and where to go. You can book private personalized tours with him cheaper than you can with the tour company. He is that lovely as I was walking along the road he stopped while riding his motorbike and asked where I was going when I told him just up the road to the 7/11 store he said hop on I'll drop you off I'm going past when I asked how much he said no charge. His sons also drive taxis so there is always one available at cheap prices. It's a little hidden gem is the Rainforest Boutique hotel would definitely stay here again instead of in the old city oh and the price is very cheap💕

Sólo un edificio de seis o siete plantas de tres pisos, cada piso tiene un gran balcón, la habitación es tan grande como se describe, un poco más grande que la foto, el restaurante es muy cálido, y dos piscinas de mini-mini, básicamente nadie. La recepción y el servicio se sientan como tres compañeros de equipo principales, pero todo está tratando de resolverlo y la actitud es muy amable. El conjunto de mis dos mayores y dos pequeños viviendas es una cama de dos metros de altura y es muy cómodo. No se ha usado el lío, pero los amigos que viven juntos dicen que la calidad del agua puede no ser buena

March 2022 to August 2022: I live in Chiang Mai and my mother is visiting from India and this was a perfect location based on our location to put her up at. Daily rates include breakfast and cleaning. We opted for monthly and got a great deal. She's been living here since March. Rooms are good, big enough, clean, fresh, good beds, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle and if you go for the bigger room and the family room you get a small workable kitchen with a electric gas and chimney. Water and laundry machines are in the building. They can come for cleaning your room and changing the sheets at a nominal cost. There is a restaurant (limited hours and limited but good food and coffee), gym, swimming pool. Parking space is available. We'll connected to the city with cabs and I'm sure the reception can help and guide you. They are very prompt in their communication. There's a small garden and play space. Clean and tidy. Quiet and peaceful. Free WiFi. Recommended for everyone, single, couples, family.
