Vivimos una noche en esta universidad y nos sentíamos como estudiantes de Cambridge. La ubicación era bastante central. En la habitación nada que no se puede excluir, decoraciones no muy recientes, pero sin embargo hermosas, con madera en las paredes y moquetas. Encima de la cama había una foto inquietante de aquellos que tenían que ser estudiantes de Cambridge de los años 30, pero no nos creó demasiados problemas. El baño tal vez mejorable, el plato de ducha era de plástico y la limpieza no era inviable. El lavabo también era pequeño y el agua se cansaba de salir. Entonces estaba presente un jardín interior donde podía sentarse para ver y un café que estaba cerrado en las horas en que estuvimos en el hotel. El desayuno, Tenida en una hermosa sala de madera decorada en estilo inglés Universidad, estaba comprendida y estaba bien assortida tanto de dulce como de sal y todo era muy bueno. Estabamos en el coche, y el estacionamiento más cercano y conveniente estaba a unos 10 minutos a pie.

Servicio: El personal de recepción (debía ser el jefe) es muy entusiasta, muy bueno, y luego una pregunta amarga ¿qué no está satisfecho? Friendly staff, comfortable room, and a great price for our stay at The Waterman. Overall, a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We also ate in the pub for dinner and then at the café for breakfast (included in the price) - both were excellent. Ideal location for visiting the city centre.

A bit fussy. Hotel open only on weekends, 17 rooms total. Victorian house on a busy road, but there was no road noise. Park behind the hotel. Can leave the car in their car park after you check out. Wi-Fi works near the reception and in the basement breakfast room, but not in the guest rooms. Relatively costly. Some rooms are accessed by entering the front door, going down to the basement, and up again. Tip: you can exit through the back door to the parking lot but cannot come back the same way. Still if someone holds the door open for you, it is the easiest way to get luggage from the car to the hotel. This was not mentioned at check-in, and we carried our bags up and down many stairs! Good sized rooms, tasty full English breakfast, also some yogurt and fruits. When I tried to lift the sash window, it came out in my hands. Fortunately, I didn’t drop it on my foot. About 15 mins walk to the town, either along the main road or along the river.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We added on breakfast which was well worth the price. Everything was fresh and filling. We also left our luggage on the day of checkout. Overall good experience and I would be to stay again and recommend.
