Entras en el hotel y la recepción es espectacular. Brillante, limpia, amplia. Igual que el restaurante. El desayuno muy bien. Tiene dos zonas. La primera tiene el ascensor al lado de recepción. A nosotros nos tocó la otra. Cuando sales del ascensor ves la porquería en la moqueta. Y cuando entras en la habitación ves que la aspiradora nunca ha pasado por allí. El segundo día me limpiaron el baño (en el que entraba con chanclas, por cierto, y el agua la tiraron en la bañera. Cuando me fui aún quedaba la mancha morada, que no se quitaba ni echando agua. Lamentable.

Hotel con excelente ubicación y servicio. La única advertencia fue sobre el restaurante. En la carta situada en la puerta de entrada del restaurante se ofrece el menú a la carta (no buffet). Entonces, íbamos a desayunar y elegíamos este menú a la carta que estaba en el menú. El encargado del hotel dijo que no lo tenían, solo buffet. Y esa opción solo debe solicit**** en la sala, que no fue anunciada con antelación. Por la noche cenamos a la carta en el mismo restaurante y la comida estuvo deliciosa.

It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

I travelled in Egypt through April into early May, a good time to undertake the journey before the onslaught of intense summer heat. I am sole, independent traveller in my seventies and had pre-conceived ideas regarding the places I wanted to see and had researched modes of transportation. I arrived at Cairo Paradise Hotel, for which I have utmost praise. From reception to house-keeping, the staff are unfailingly courteous and helpful. My month in Cairo coincided with Ramadan and I was invited to partake of the evening meal at the break of fast. Ready to embark on my explorations, I soon realised that due to distances and piecing together public transport, considerable time and effort would need to be expended. I outlined my places to see wish list to Amr, the Hotel Touring Manager, who, with diligence application tailor-made an itinerary, including events and places off the ”tourist track” with drivers and at times, a guide. All came seamlessly to fruition with meetings at airports or train stations never failing to eventuate, at surprisingly low cost. I feel that I have captured the ”Essence of Egypt.”

Mi novia y yo viajamos a Egipto y después de haber sido informado por nuestro hotel reservado originalmente que no había más habitación disponible (a la llegada en El Cairo) nos hemos dado la última opción de permanecer en el hotel Cecilia por Booking.com. Afortunadamente el destino ha hecho las cosas correctas!! Wi-Fi gratis, aire acondicionado y desayuno con una hermosa terraza donde pasar la noche bebiendo algo y conocer a gente nueva. La habitación era limpia y buena para 2 estrellas hotel. Absolutamente recomendado y volverá!

Muy bueno, excepto un poco de calor

El lugar es bastante simple, pero lo que lo hace especial fue la ubicación ...its rodeados de restaurantes de cafeterías y etc personas que trabajan allí son muy amigables. aunque no recuerdo nombres, pero el guardador es nice.helpfull y Sonriendo a la niña en la recepción a la hora del día es feliz de ayudar al hombre a la hora de la noche tarda también es feliz de recomendarle lugares para comer y darme buena información
