YYannick.vdhWe had an amazing stay in this boutique hotel.
The hosts were super nice and really treated us the best they could.
At first the location seemed a bit away from the center, and without grab we were sceptic how to get to the center. But the hosts were super helpfull and brought us by car and picked us up as well. We even lend 1 scooter for an evening for free!
The room was super new and had everything we needed. Good bed, big smart tv (for resting day), great shower, good AC and small balcony.
We got homemade Vietnamese breakfast everyday. Even when my girlfriend asked for just fruits they made an amazing platter full.
These people were so nice and asked nothing in return. We wanted to pay for the rides but they refused.
The hotel is in a super new area and the streets are only accessible for people who need to be there, which makes it very safe as well. Just note that if booking a tour they cannot pick you up in front of the hotel, but just 3 minutes walk away, so no problems.

MMattSchmattGreat hotel. Feels very new, fancy public areas and rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and fresh. Balcony was a nice thing also. Location is not that bad but there was a really annoying trumpet playing early morning from the nearby military compound. Otherwise no noise from street or corridor. Staff was good and mostly helpful but check in and out a bit cumbersome. Breakfast options really amazing. Also had some drinks and snacks at the rooftop bar but plenty things sold out.
Would definitely come back but then try get a room facing the other side away from the trumpet people.

UUsuario invitadoWe stayed for 2 nights here in the top floor family room. We had a nice large terrace facing the mountain. The room was spotlessly clean, the mattress was good and there was enough lighting all around. Plenty of free bottled water was provided. The bathroom was huge with both a shower and bathtub. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with pancake and pho and fresh fruits. The service was very good, whenever we had a query, we were promptly addressed via WhatsApp with the owner. The location is just right for us, who want to be a few mins walking distance to the main street and restaurant and is quiet enough away from loud music from the tourist bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Catba. Thank you to the owner!

PPhongTruongReally recommended this hotel for solo or foreigners. This hotel is new and the facilities are very good, they have pool and restaurant too. This is my first experience staying at dorm room and is better than I thought, I have a large, private space and the bed and curtains are clean. Just remind you to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, or bring your own shampoo because their's same as other hotel, not so good. Anyway, cant not demand too much for a price like that. Next time to Cat Ba I definitely come back here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the View Point Anh Quan Hotel in Cat Ba, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions.
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me.
Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

UUsuario invitadoLa habitación era increíble, las vistas desde el balcón del piso 14 eran impresionantes. Hay una cocina en la habitación, solo de exhibición, ya que te multan incluso por usar el microondas. 😂 Un día tuvimos que pedir toallas limpias y agua, porque se las habían olvidado al arreglar la habitación. El hotel es ENORME, así que ir y volver de la piscina o del restaurante abierto es un viaje largo; es imposible que los niños puedan ir solos a ningún sitio en este complejo enorme. El club infantil es solo una sala, no un club propiamente dicho. Los juegos del club infantil son carísimos, así que no los usamos.
La vista desde el restaurante del tercer edificio es increíble si llegas lo suficientemente temprano para conseguir una mesa junto a la ventana. El desayuno buffet está bien. Sin embargo, cuando se llena, la comida se acaba constantemente. ¡Había una! Cafetera para unas 400 personas, así que tienes que correr de un lado a otro del enorme restaurante para comprobar si la han vuelto a llenar. Una vez comimos buffet, que fue bastante malo. Por 1,7 millones de VND ni siquiera te dan agua para beber, sino que tienes que comprarla aparte, y no hay muchas opciones para que los niños coman. Una vez más, se acabó la comida, así que tuviste que subir y bajar varias veces para comprobar si la habían repuesto y evitar las multitudes por el camino. No fue una experiencia muy agradable.
El hotel no puede ayudarte con reservas ni sugerencias de excursiones a menos que reserves sus tours, que son carísimos y hay pocas opciones.
¡Las piscinas del hotel fueron increíbles para nuestros hijos!
La estancia estuvo bien en general, pero no volveríamos a este hotel.

Мы оставались всего на пару ночей, но даже пожалели об этом. Чисто, аккуратно, убирались каждый день. Завтрак с не очень большим выбором, но вкусный и можно найти что-то, чтобы не голодать. Бар наверху с небольшим выбором, но даже если коктейля нет в карте, то можно заказать микс на свой вкус 👌
Еду в кафе попробовали совсем немного, но то что приготовили - было супер 🔥
Бассейн был очень уж холодным, но чистый и не перехлорированный.
