Los hoteles Hyatt hacen honor a su nombre Es muy limpio y ordenado. Estoy durmiendo tranquilamente. De repente me desperté en mitad de la noche con el ruido “wht~~~~” del pitido de la máquina. Además, el hotel ha retirado $50.00 de mi tarjeta de crédito, ¿esto es para estacionamiento? Aparqué mi coche en otro lugar. Como no había servicio de valet parking, aparqué en otro sitio. Por favor devuélveme mis $50.00.

Esta fue mi primera viaje a Washington, DC, y reservaba este hotel con antelación porque la ubicación era grande y podía obtener un precio muy bonito descuento. La habitación era conocida como una cama real, pero sin duda se sentía más como una cama doble o de tamaño completo. Sin embargo, la mayor pregunta fue la forma de que la habitación era polvo. Creo que fue la primera vez en mi vida que me aprieté más de 50 veces en un solo día. Me molestó durante todo el viaje, y tratar constantemente con una nariz corriente me hizo aún más cansado. Finalmente tuve que ir a CVS y comprar medicamentos de alergia. El hotel es un hotel muy agradable, pero si vuelvo a visitar DC, probablemente pagaría un poco más y me quedaría en otro lugar. La mayoría de los lugares siguen conectados fácilmente por metro a través de Google Maps, por lo que no es difícil llegar a la ciudad y visitar atractivos turísticos. After a very long 29-hour journey, the last thing a guest wants is to feel unwelcome upon arrival. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was disappointing. The female receptionist with curly hair appeared indifferent while checking me in. Even when speaking to me, she avoided eye contact and seemed focused on other tasks. In hospitality, the reception team creates the first impression of a hotel, and I found this behavior unprofessional and unfriendly. When I checked out, the female receptionist with straight hair was also not particularly welcoming. The only receptionist who showed some warmth and friendliness was the gentleman at the front desk. During my first night, I experienced itching and discomfort. I’m not sure whether it was related to the bedding or towels, but I requested fresh sheets and towels to be replaced. My room was also missing a refrigerator and a safety deposit box, which I would normally expect for a more comfortable stay. That said, I would like to recognize Alma, who kindly provided coffee for my room, and Maira from housekeeping, who worked incredibly hard and was always helpful. They were the highlights of my stay and deserve recognition for their excellent attitude and service. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously, as a more welcoming front desk experience would make a significant difference.

This is a business hotel located in an excellent location in DC. It is close to major attractions like the capitol and Smithsonian museums (15-20min walk at max). There is also a bus stop nearby to access the city center, and the Union Station metro is an 8min walk away. Food wise there are not many options nearby but the city center is about 15 minutes by bus. The hotel is clean, rooms are serviced daily, and there is free water and coffee. The room is nice and clean, the only minor issue is a slightly low water pressure. The main issue with this place are the meal credits - although the booking says that breakfast is included, what you actually get is $10 in meal discounts per day - there is a breakfast buffet and the place converts into a restaurant for lunch and dinner. You can't stack these discounts (i.e. if you did not eat any meals at the hotel today, you have forfeited the discount and cannot push any discount to tomorrow). The breakfast buffet is over $20 before tip (additional cost if you order eggs, which somehow are not in the buffet spread), and a lunch/dinner entree is somewhere between $20 and $30. In essence this forces you to eat at the hotel for a discount but you will still end up paying additional. Other than this rather confusing meal scheme, would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in DC for the first time.

Me siento seguro en la ubicación del hotel. A poca distancia a pie de la estación de metro y del edificio del Capitolio, la tienda de comestibles cercana tiene una buena selección y buenos precios. No hay muchas opciones de restaurantes cerca. En general, recomiendo mucho este hotel.

I did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.

By far the worst JW Marriott 'experience' I've had. The elevator system was terrible, often times waiting for 20-30 mins for the elevator, and when it arrives, it's already full, having to wait for other elevators. This elevator system need to be reprogrammed. The fitness center was close and there was no notice anywhere that it was closed. I called the fitness center to ask if the fitness center has moved, the front desk responded I can go to the Westin Hotel fitness center, which was 1 mile away. One evening the fire system went off and we were told to evacuate the hotel, as we were walking down the stairs, they notified it was a false alarm. The location is great, but I will not stay here again.
