It offers insane value for money and is the ultimate choice if you want to escape overcrowded commercial traps and experience the true harmony of Mongolian nature and genuine human connection. Pure Hospitality with Zero Hassle (Our Deepest Impression): The best part about this camp is the vibe. The hosts give you complete peace and space—there is absolutely none of the aggressive upselling or tourist hassle you often find elsewhere. They might seem quiet, but they are deeply attentive, showing their warmth through thoughtful actions rather than loud words. July Summer Comfort & Cozy Bedding: We visited in early July. Even though the daytime temperature reached 30°C outside, the inside of the ger remained surprisingly cool, airy, and refreshed without any air conditioning. However, summer nights on the steppe can plunge to single digits. To our delight, the beds were equipped with electric blankets, and the hosts even proactively brought us an electric heater because they were worried we might get cold. We slept incredibly warm and soundly! Wonderful Included Breakfast & Great Dining Options: Complimentary Breakfast: A delicious buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. It was a wonderful surprise to have a varied spread of fresh vegetables, meat, fruits, and boiled eggs on the steppe, along with comforting Korean seaweed soup and traditional Mongolian hot broth. Dinner Recommendation (Khorkhog): We highly recommend pre-ordering the traditional Mongolian stone-roasted meat (Khorkhog). It takes about 2 hours to prepare, so we usually ordered it during breakfast for our dinner. The portions are huge and come with a great variety of side dishes. Paid À La Carte Options: For other meals, the restaurant offers an excellent and affordable daily menu of Mongolian and Korean dishes that are freshly made to order. We loved the Kimchi tofu soup with rice, stir-fried spicy pork belly, handmade mutton fried noodles (Tsuivan), and crispy Khuushuur. Everything was satisfying and very well-priced! The Sweetest Check-out Gesture: On our final day, we had to catch a chartered car back to Ulaanbaatar Airport (UBN) at 7:00 AM, long before breakfast hours. We went to say goodbye to the host the night before and mentioned we would leave our ger door open upon departure. Hearing this, the host immediately went to pack a breakfast box for us for the next morning, filled with boiled eggs, fresh cucumbers, and mandarins. Receiving this thoughtful, handmade meal in the chilling steppe air deeply moved and healed us. Facilities & Activities: Shared bathrooms were kept spotless with abundant hot water. The surrounding nature is stunning for hiking, featuring lush meadow wetlands, unique gully erosion, and roaming livestock. You can even spot the Genghis Khan Statue Complex in the distance. The camp has its own stables where you can pay to ride horses directly to the Tuul River. They even provide traditional Mongolian costumes (Deel) in the lobby for guests to try on for free. Final Thoughts on Mongolian Culture: Throughout this journey, I deeply felt the spirit of the Mongolian nomads, who have coexisted alongside horses, sheep, wolves, and harsh blizzards for thousands of years. They hold a profound reverence for nature, viewing humans and animals not in a hierarchy, but as equal living beings nurtured by the same earth. This dignified, grounded, and unpretentious attitude is worlds apart from modern commercial societies, and it is precisely what made this journey so rare and precious to us. A perfect 10/10!

An Absolute Gem in Terelj! Modern Comfort Meets Breathtaking Wilderness 🏔️✨ If you are looking for a place in Gorkhi Terelj National Park that perfectly balances modern luxury, endless entertainment, and untouched natural beauty, Imperial Mount Resort is the ultimate choice. The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Hotel war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und hilfsbereite Servicepersonal. Auch das Transferpersonal war zuverlässig und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Erfahrung – ich würde wiederkommen!

Thank you for everthing. I lost my important belongings, but the staff tried to find them together. He called the taxi driver to find them instead of me because I had only my countries' phone number. On the last day, I tried to give him a tip, but he didn't take it because he knew there are no customes of tipping in my country. I was very moved by his all behavior. Meeting him made me think that I wanna go back to Mongolia again. I will absolutely stay at the same hotel when I go back to Mongolia. Thank you!!

Situado cerca de la estación de tren, este hotel de propiedad china cuenta con instalaciones totalmente nuevas y una excelente relación calidad-precio. (¡Comparado con el Hotel Hillside donde me alojé mi primera noche en Ulán Bator, su secador de pelo anticuado, que llevaba más de una década sin usarse, era de lo más gracioso!). El hotel dispone de un restaurante en la segunda planta que sirve comida china, la cual está deliciosa. También se pueden contratar servicios de alquiler de coches y traslados contactando con el propietario.

NO SE DEJEN ENGAÑAR COMO YO. El anuncio dice que está a 6 minutos en coche del aeropuerto Chinggis Khan, pero en realidad está a 30 minutos. Está muy cerca del ANTIGUO aeropuerto, que ya no está en funcionamiento. Ofrecen recogida gratuita en el aeropuerto, pero nos alojamos la noche anterior a nuestro vuelo, así que no necesitábamos que nos recogieran, sino que nos llevaran al aeropuerto. Aunque no usamos el servicio de recogida gratuito, tuvimos que pagar 25 USD por el traslado. Envié dos correos electrónicos al alojamiento durante la semana previa a nuestra estancia para preguntar sobre el servicio de traslado y nunca recibí respuesta. Además, hay una falta de comunicación entre el personal: cuando llegamos al alojamiento, tuvimos que llamar tres veces antes de que finalmente vinieran a recogernos las maletas. Luego hubo confusión sobre qué habitación nos correspondía y nos llevaron a tres habitaciones diferentes antes de dar con la correcta. Como no teníamos coche, tuvimos que caminar por la zona para buscar comida, pero casi no había restaurantes y solo un par de tiendas muy pequeñas. Al final, tuvimos que pedir comida en el restaurante del hotel. Cada habitación es diferente, como pudimos comprobar al visitar tres distintas. Son muy espaciosas, pero algunas están en mucho mejor estado que otras. Por suerte, nuestra última habitación era la mejor; sin embargo, tenía una cocina equipada con ollas, sartenes, arrocera, vitrocerámica y platos, pero sin cubiertos, microondas ni nevera. ¿Cómo es posible tener una cocina sin nevera ni cubiertos? También había lavadora, pero no secadora. No teníamos tiempo para esperar a que la ropa se secara al aire durante nuestra estancia de una noche, así que tampoco nos sirvió de nada. En resumen, fue una estancia barata, pero se obtiene lo que se paga.

The hotel has a very good location that it is walkable on some of the sites in UB. The hotel, though clean, is very old already. No airconditioner nor elevator. The area is also for nightllife so it could be loud around at times. Breakfast is included but not worth it. Two pieces of bread plus a tea bag and pot of hot water.
