Hoteles en Riga con desayuno

El hotel está situado en pleno centro del casco antiguo y goza de una ubicación muy conveniente. Debido a problemas con la presión del agua en el casco antiguo, la ducha del último piso tenía poca presión, así que, tras hablar con el hotel, nos cambiaron inmediatamente a una habitación en una planta inferior. La habitación estaba totalmente equipada. El desayuno era muy abundante, con café de marca y lonchas de pescado fresco. En la habitación había dos botellas de agua, lo que indicaba que los miembros Silver Card podían obtener una gratis por estancia, pero como se suponía que dos personas recibirían una cada una, acabamos pagando 3,50 € por botella.

Hotel en una ubicación conveniente, se puede llegar en autobús 22 desde el aeropuerto. Excelente limpieza, colchón de cama muy cómodo; excelente baño y cabina de ducha excepcional x La sala de desayuno era muy bonita, con mucha variedad de bebidas y buena comida. El único fallo está en el check in y check out:  es muy lento te piden que rellenes un formulario en el que tienes que indicar los datos de tu tarjeta de crédito porque si coges algo del mini bar te cobran lo que gastar;  o tienes que dejar una fianza de 50€ pero al hacer el check out la señora tiene que ir a la habitación y comprobar que has consumido: MUY RETORCIDO. El personal de recepción (había dos hombres y una mujer presentes en tres días) no es amable; sin sonrisa en 3 días; Pedí poder hacer el check out a las 12.45 en lugar de las 12.00 y me dijeron que NO de manera poco amable. Cambiar el personal que te recibe en el hotel no sería mala idea y degradaría un hotel que de otro modo valdría 5//5 en términos de relación precio.

An extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . . Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available. The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was. Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.

The hotel is well located on the edge of the old town, a few minutes walk from the all old town attractions, excursion pick up points and tourist office. Excellent check in, well appointed room overlooking the river. A higher room would have been preferable, but room facilities excellent. Although accommodation is very reasonably priced, we found the €20 pp charge for use of the spa facilities a little out of kilter. Disappointed and surprised - especially at this time year - that we were not allowed a late checked even at the cost of €15 per hour after 1pm.

Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

Reservamos una habitación con vistas a la ciudad y no la tuvimos (pero pagamos por ella). Los hoteles muestran que tienen aparcamiento, pero si vas al hotel en coche recibirás una multa de un policía, por lo que tendrás que encontrar un lugar para aparcar. La música estuvo muy alta hasta las 11 de la noche. La experiencia en la piscina fue horrible, muchos hombres habían bebido y comido en la tienda local, no había nadie para vigilar lo que pasaba, así que dejamos a esa gente borracha que se iba a quedar allí.

Este hotel está en la orilla occidental del río Daugava y, aunque está lejos de las atracciones, el tranvía es muy conveniente. Celebramos aquí el cumpleaños de nuestro principito, compramos una tarta de frambuesa en una pastelería cercana al hotel y cogimos el tranvía hasta Cisjordania para cenar. Recuerdos muy bonitos.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, junto al centro comercial y la estación central, a pocos minutos a pie de la estación de autobuses, el mercado central y el casco antiguo. El registro fue perfecto y el personal muy amable nos facilitó un mapa de la ciudad. El hotel cuenta con hervidor, tazas, té y café en sobres, y en el baño había champú, jabón de manos, pañuelos de papel y gorro de ducha. Sería bueno que también ofrecieran crema corporal y acondicionador. Lamentablemente, los enchufes del escritorio no son compatibles con adaptadores de viaje y no hay puertos USB. La cama individual estaba justo al lado de la cortina y el espejo frente a ella; un diseño de habitación bastante extraño. Hay una caja fuerte en la habitación. Recuerden traer sus propias zapatillas, ya que no las proporcionan.

The hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on. We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later. There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.

Great potential, but their left hand definitely doesn't know what the right is doing! My stay felt like a comedy of errors where I was the punchline. First, the breakfast saga: I pre-paid for my breakfast at check-in. Yet, every single morning, the restaurant staff looked at me like a breakfast bandit trying to sneak a free croissant. “Room number? Is breakfast included?” Cue me, once again, explaining my pre-paid status like I was telling a fascinating but unlikely story. I half expected them to ask for a signed affidavit from the front desk manager by day three. Then there was the Pool Surprise™. The website features the pool, but conveniently forgets to mention it costs extra. At check-in, I asked, ”Where's the pool?” They pointed. They did not, however, point and say, ”...and that'll be $20, please.” So, picture this: I'm there in my swim trunks, towel slung over my shoulder, ready for a dip. I get greeted not with a ”hello,” but with a request for my credit card. I had to do the walk of shame back through the lobby, damp and disappointed, to pay at the front desk. A simple heads-up would have saved us all from that awkward little parade! The place itself is nice, but honestly, it seems like the different departments only communicate by carrier pigeon. And I'm pretty sure one of those pigeons got lost. Pros: The room was good (if a bit tired), and the bed was comfortable. Cons: Be prepared for a mystery fee adventure and to repeatedly prove you've paid for things you've already paid for.
