We only ate dinner once in the hotel. The menu obviously thought itself very special; the food was nice, but not quite as excellent as we’d hoped. And it was a bit overpriced. We did find some tastier food in restaurants elsewhere in the town. But breakfast was all very good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

He viajado a más de cien países y he permanecido en numerosos hoteles. Neiburgs es uno de mis favoritos. Está situado justo detrás de la Catedral de Riga y es conveniente para los antiguos lugares de la ciudad. Tiene un muy buen restaurante acompañado al hotel. La sala de desayuno era muy bonita, con mucha variedad de bebidas y buena comida.
El único fallo está en el check in y check out:  es muy lento te piden que rellenes un formulario en el que tienes que indicar los datos de tu tarjeta de crédito porque si coges algo del mini bar te cobran lo que gastar;  o tienes que dejar una fianza de 50€ pero al hacer el check out la señora tiene que ir a la habitación y comprobar que has consumido: MUY RETORCIDO. El personal de recepción (había dos hombres y una mujer presentes en tres días) no es amable; sin sonrisa en 3 días; Pedí poder hacer el check out a las 12.45 en lugar de las 12.00 y me dijeron que NO de manera poco amable.
Cambiar el personal que te recibe en el hotel no sería mala idea y degradaría un hotel que de otro modo valdría 5//5 en términos de relación precio.

My husband and I had a pleasant experience. The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transport, which made getting around simple.
The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you’d expect.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast, which I appreciated.

El hotel en general es agradable, pero las habitaciones son bastante modestas y el servicio de limpieza fue irregular: no había jabón en la ducha y faltaron algunos días. Está situado frente a un bonito parque, pero no cerca del casco antiguo. Sin embargo, lo mejor fue el personal de recepción: muy amable y simpático.

An extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . .
Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available.
The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was.
Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.

The hotel is well located on the edge of the old town, a few minutes walk from the all old town attractions, excursion pick up points and tourist office.
Excellent check in, well appointed room overlooking the river. A higher room would have been preferable, but room facilities excellent.
Although accommodation is very reasonably priced, we found the €20 pp charge for use of the spa facilities a little out of kilter.
Disappointed and surprised - especially at this time year - that we were not allowed a late checked even at the cost of €15 per hour after 1pm.

Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quite clean and newly refurbished however there were too many basic errors and design choices / management choices that are not up to the level of the other 5 star hotels in Riga.
The mini bar was ridiculously expensive I mean 2 or 3 times as much as other hotels in the city and they had the nerve to charge me for a drink I don’t consume. They have apologised since and I’m waiting on a refund. The tiny tub if almonds were listed for 14 euros for example.
No hooks in the bathroom for clothes, no shower screen on the bath, limited buffet options for breakfast but decent Al a carte options, furniture in room not comfortable, no proper wardrobe, rug in the room but covered by the bed, no teapots or large mugs for tea.
My advice is only stay if the rate is about 1/2 of the other 5 star hotels in Riga.

The location of this hotel is perfect; it’s just a 10-minute walk from both the central bus and train stations, and less than 15 minutes to the main tourist spots. I particularly liked that the closest malls are only 2 minutes away, with numerous restaurants nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent, and the staff are nice and polite. I was also pleasantly surprised by the well-designed sauna and the 24-hour gym.
However, we encountered an issue with the door lock to our room, which failed to open with our room cards. We reported this to the staff, who promised to fix it that day, but unfortunately, the lock remained broken until our checkout. As a result, we had to call security every time we returned to our room, which was quite annoying and prevented us from fully enjoying the hotel facilities since someone had to stay inside the room.
