UUsuario invitadoThe resort location is accessible actually by bus from tateno 立野 station and the last bus is in the evening you may check the timetable online. We did not drive and leaving the accommodation is less convenient because all taxis were booked out but the staff was very friendly as to driving us to the nearby train station to continue our journey to Aso Volcano.
Service was good. The private onzen was amazing and we were able to use it for one hour. The public bath was good too but the amenities they provided inside were not as enough, eg they don't have comb for ladies and make up removing pads. Other than that, cleanliness was amazing and staff were friendly, rooms had amazing Mountain View's.

CChuck ChuangI love the interior of this resort. The staff members are really friendly and helpful. I had little knowledge in selecting local onsen resort, so my initial expectation was not high. Much to my surprise, I love everything this hotel has had. Facility wise everything looks brand new. The room is spacious and comfy. The public bath and indoor onsen are big and clean.
As for the meals, the presentations were good and they were delicious. I have no complaint about it. Keep up with the good work. Look forward to staying there again.

tattoo-friendly onsen, but the showers are only on the first floor. the private outdoor rooftop onsen does not have a shower, so it’s better to shower downstairs first; otherwise, it can be quite chilly to rinse yourself outside using the buckets.
there is free parking, but the street itself is very narrow and busy with pedestrians; the ryokan staff can help with parking. the staff warned us about the parking situation in advance and advised leaving the car at a free parking lot in the village center, but there were no spaces available.

HHJHKPros- spacious villa, quality bedding and large private indoor onsen( see picture 13). We also like the public outdoor onsen in the sister ryokan nearby. There is a little cafe there you can buy drinks and coffee, run by an adorable old couple, very nice and polite. We spent a lot of time there just chilling and listening to the music.
Cons-
Living room: we were only able to book the western style villa as it’s a little last minute trip. The living room is basic, bland, with sofa, instead or tatami. Our room 512 is next to the car park. Parking lot in front of your main door is not very pleasant.
Food : just soso. Nothing extraordinary. See picture. No horse sashimi, the presentation of the steak is really ordinary - disappointing. Perhaps because we had such an amazing meals in the previous ryokan this became a massive letdown.
Dinner served in a large public dining room, lack of the privacy and intimacy ther ryokan provide ( we had private dining room in another ryokan 野之花during this trip). I got to see other couples but also feeling like we are being watched.
Service- served by young people, not much attentiveness you would expect in traditional ryokan, lack of the warmth and ritual.
Reception- 3 star at best. A basic room with uncomfortable chair while you wait to be checked in. We arrived around 2:30pm, and was told that check in can only start at 3pm, and please wait. So we sat at the hard chair and forced to watch the promotional video until 3pm.
Conclusion - 3.5 star ryokan, not the most exciting or exclusive villa we have stayed. Maybe it would get better once the trees grow thicker and staff better trained. The sister Ryokan nearby has better feel of environment and feels more established.

Las instalaciones estaban muy bien. Me sorprendieron mucho las dos comidas. La calidad fue muy buena. Alta, el servicio es súper bueno, el servicio japonés está profundamente arraigado en el corazón de la gente. Es una lástima que no tengo tiempo para sumergirme en las aguas termales al aire libre. En resumen, este es un hotel muy cálido. ! Finalmente, me gustaría agradecer al chico de la recepción que fue muy entusiasta y pacientemente respondió cualquier pregunta. Nos ayudó a reservar el autobús Kyushu Crossing y nos llevó allí ese día, permitiéndonos llegar a Yufuin sin problemas.

UUsuario invitadoLa habitación del hotel tiene unas vistas estupendas, lo que me relaja muchísimo. Las aguas termales abren hasta las 23:00, perfecto para desconectar. La única pega es que no hay baño en la habitación, así que tendrás que usar el baño público. Si no puedes ir a las aguas termales por la noche, no habrá otro sitio donde darte un chapuzón, lo cual es un poco decepcionante. Lo bueno es que hay un campo de golf justo al lado del hotel con un entorno precioso. Mucha gente local y turistas vienen a jugar al golf. La habitación también es muy grande y cómoda, así que te sentirás como si estuvieras durmiendo en el cielo.

UUsuario invitadoOnsen and sauna were incredible - but the location from the carpark to the check-in counter was super inconvenient for travellers with big luggage. Other than that, the bus services are very regular, the buffet was tasty and the room was cosy. Really love the Hobitton feels of this place.

UUsuario invitadoГлавный плюс это расположение , если хочется побыть в тишине наедине с природой … Рано утром даже олень завтракал напротив нашей террасы 🦌 Общие купальни сильно понравились , вода горячая как и хотелось . Номер в японском стиле брали и это соответствует настроению , хотелось проникнуться в японскую культуру . Владельцы отеля нам в этом помогли 🙏 Весь персонал очень доброжелательный . Еда очень вкусная , за две ночи разное меню . Спасибо шеф повару 🙏 Это был мой день рождения и я очень прекрасно провела время . Рекан оправдал наши ожидания 💫
