«Couldn’t fault the actual room, even though it wasn’t the room advertised or shown in pic, that was a little annoying.
The shower wasn’t very good and the room was very stuffy at night as you couldn’t open windows due to noise outside.
The location was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful.
The noise both outside and in the actual hotel were quite annoying with slamming of doors and what sounded like moving furniture above us.
We knew there was an issue with noise as we read reviews but we thought we are pretty easy going and can usually sleep through anything, we even brought ear plugs, but recon you’d need industrial ones to block out all the noise there.
Sadly I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to others,»

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic!
The host was so helpful and attentive.
My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!)
Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too.

Usuario invitadoThe hotel lobby and breakfast were both very nice. However, we experienced some issues with our room. The double bed was quite small, and the room we were initially assigned did not match the photos shown when booking.
When we raised our concerns, the staff did their best to accommodate us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the process took quite a long time and involved multiple room changes. The final room we were assigned was much better and met our expectations. Had we been given that room from the beginning, our overall experience would have been significantly more positive.
It seemed that some rooms have been renovated and are much newer, while others are older and less reflective of the images advertised online.

Summerwinter .KThe location was amazing and easy by walking in town, meet the hotel standards on cleanliness, service and location. staff is very friendly with smile especially on the breakfast time, they are really helpful.
However I have booked for 2 nights with the city view queen bed room, but It’s no city view at all.
Also, this room is on the upper ground floor and nearby the storage cleaning room is not the good idea for customer especially on the early morning time. The problem is the room always has a terrible noise all the time which make me terrible and can’t sleep well when I am being on the room. I have requested the room which away from elevators and good view before booking but not get anything at all.

Parking will have to be in the public parking around the corner which is about £20 for a day.
Online it said the hotel offers halal food but once we got there they said they aren't sure they do it.
The staff also informed us that we wouldn't be able to eat at the restaurant that day because they were booked for a function, but we feel this should've been communicated beforehand by email etc.
Other than this I think this hotel is the best in the area and is very classy and welcoming.

El hotel está en una colina, pero los autobuses a menudo corren directamente fuera del hotel. La habitación era grande y limpia con todo lo que necesitaba. El desayuno era fantástico y muchas opciones. Está seguro que nos fija para el día. El personal es amable y útil. Seguramente nos quedaríamos de nuevo.

The only shirtcoming is we had to drive into the city for dinner as we wanted something different from what the hotel restaurant provided. Apart from the location, we were happy with our stay.

Estoy muy decepcionada con su servicio en lo que respecta a la limpieza. Entiendo que estén muy ocupados en esta época del año, pero deberían ser consistentes con la limpieza. Siempre elijo HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS porque tuve una muy buena experiencia el año pasado (Año Nuevo) en la sucursal de Escocia y fue una experiencia increíble... así que pensé que sería lo mismo aquí en HI Express Bath... Viajamos en familia y mi hijo de 11 años es autista, tiene TDAH y TOC, además de alergias... este tipo de cama (sofá cama) es inaceptable para cualquiera que se aloje allí... nos dijeron que esperáramos hasta que ocupáramos nuestra habitación para que el sofá cama estuviera listo, pero aún así no nos proporcionaron sábanas para él... realmente devastador, muy triste y decepcionante...

Usuario anónimoEl hotel está situado en una hermosa calle rodeada de impresionantes edificios. Está prácticamente a tiro de piedra de todas las tiendas, bares y cafeterías.
El personal es extremadamente amable y siempre sonríe al recibirte. Actúan con profesionalidad e incluso te dan ideas y sugerencias para excursiones.
Nuestra habitación tenía paredes y techos increíblemente altos; sin embargo, la alfombra del suelo nos lastimaba los pies, así que recomiendo llevar zapatillas (desafortunadamente no llevamos).
En resumen, fue un lugar estupendo para alojarse, con un delicioso desayuno a la mañana siguiente. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme allí.

Stayed at Wentworth House for one night. The location was handy — only about a 6 or 7-minute taxi ride into the centre of Bath. Parking on site was free, which is always a bonus, though spaces were limited. The shower worked fine with good hot water, and at £120 a night for three people, the price wasn’t unreasonable for Bath.
On the downside, the place is very dated and could do with some serious modernisation. Our room had a noticeable damp smell and the single-glazed windows didn’t help keep the room warm or quiet. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there, but overall, it’s an okay option if you just need somewhere for a night and aren’t too fussy — though a refresh would really lift the place.
