UUsuario invitadoI was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself.
The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

CCharms928El hotel tiene una estancia muy agradable. El personal es muy cortés y útil. El servicio fue absolutamente impresionante donde se sirvieron servicio de lavandería gratuito y té de la tarde diario con frutas y tortas frescas. El regalo de la puerta es especialmente pensado, que contiene una hermosa paraguas protectoras de UV, repelente de mosquitos y bloqueo solar.
La habitación era espaciosa, limpia y degustada. La habitación con aire acondicionado y agradables perfumes fue literalmente mi oasis durante este breve viaje de isla.
¡Recomenda absolutamente este hotel a cualquiera que planee visitar la isla!

UUsuario invitadoGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

En el edificio, publicó una estrategia turística del Mar del Norte, la sanidad popular está limpia, está cerca de la playa de plata, también ofrece una experiencia de atracción gratuita (necesidad de reservar en el adelantado), además de atraer los instrumentos de atracción, los coches eléctricos están disponibles gratis, especialmente cuidadosamente!!!

UUsuario invitadoThe homestay is beautifully laid out and much thought has gone into the design. It’s very quiet and relaxing, and has lovely benches and swings outside surrounded by beautiful plants. The owner is very eager to please. You can walk about 10 minutes to get to the beach - the beach and the park next to it is beautiful and stretches for miles.
When I stayed in March/April, the weather was miserable and cold so I didn’t make use of the pool.
One thing to keep in mind, is that this is a homestay catering to Chinese people - that means breakfast is standard Chinese and the mattress on the bed is also Chinese-firm. Neither of the owners speak English, but you can add the lady on Wechat to communicate with her. Being a homestay means less crowds and more relaxing.
The owner was very kind to refund me one night when I decided to shorten my stay due to the crappy weather. I really appreciate that she was flexible and accommodating with this.

BBeaver EggOur stay at the Marriott Hotel in Beihai was absolutely unforgettable, and every detail made it extraordinary. To celebrate my mother-in-law’s 60th birthday, the staff customized our room perfectly, showing genuine care and professionalism. The dinner buffet was unreal—delicious, special, and a true culinary experience. The hotel’s environment added even more magic, with a lively pool area and a kid’s zone that my baby boy loved so much he didn’t want to leave. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, and the hotel’s sensational garden felt like a dream. To top it all off, the view from our room was breathtaking, like something out of a magazine. I can confidently say this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had, and I highly recommend the Marriott Hotel in Beihai for anyone seeking a genuinely perfect getaway.

UUsuario invitadoEl B&B está convenientemente ubicado cerca de varias atracciones principales y ofrece excelentes vistas desde la azotea. Las habitaciones están limpias y ordenadas. El dueño es cálido y atento, y nos ofreció cambiar nuestra habitación doble de 1,2 metros cuadrados a una habitación familiar de 1,8 metros cuadrados + 1,2 metros cuadrados sin costo alguno. Nos acompañaron al mercado de mariscos para seleccionar mariscos auténticos y asequibles, y la cocina del dueño fue realmente impresionante, tanto en apariencia como en sabor. Alojarse aquí fue realmente un segundo hogar.

UUsuario invitado這次預訂的是海景豪華雙人房，5樓朝西（看日落最佳角度），房間很大（70多㎡吧），最喜歡的是看海的大陽台，感覺10米寬，超級喜歡！家人和孩子輪流拍照，不下樓都可以成為打卡點了！酒店前台的接待人員很熱情，辦理手續也是很快！一樓就是無邊泳池，有淺水區和深水區，還有鯨魚造型滑梯，小朋友玩得不亦樂乎！當然也可以從一樓的刷卡門前往冠嶺日不落海灘，這裏相對銀灘來説人更少，海水品質更高！我用無人機航拍，張張是大片感覺！酒店外立面很高大上，周邊環境也是精心設計和佈置，讓人流連忘返！下次來北海，還住北海喜來登大酒店！

I recently stayed at a beach view hotel in Beihai with a few friends, and the experience was fantastic! The room was spacious, modern, and had all the amenities we needed. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the ocean right from our balcony—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The bathtub facing the ocean was an absolute treat, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the incredible sunset.
The kitchen was well-equipped, and we found it convenient to prepare our own meals when we felt like staying in. The hotel is located just steps from the beach, so we were able to enjoy the sand and sea without any hassle. The balcony was a great spot to hang out with friends, with comfortable seating and an unbeatable view of the water.
