Hoteles en Brisbane con desayuno

Originally booked a twin double room for me, my wife and our granddaughter as I was working in Brisbane and we wanted a change of scenery for my wife and granddaughter. Unfortunately my granddaughter became ill so my wife and granddaughter stayed at home. When I checked in I advised the hotel that only I would be staying for the two nights. Thinking Id help out the hotel room availability I said Id be happy to downsize, the receptionist asked if Id be ok in an Accessible Room which I accepted. I awoke at 2am thinking it was daytime as the room was lit up. Looked at the time and saw it was 2am then realised there was a large gap (30-40mm)under the door and the corridor lights were illuminating the room. After a bad night’s sleep I complained to reception who sent up a maintenance person who advised the door had to be like this to clear the sloping floor to the bathroom for wheelchair access. Poor design not an excuse. I asked if I could have my original room and was told I’d be charged for an upgrade. Told them I’d done them the favour originally so reception said theyd chat to management and get back to me. I was working late shifts and heard nothing back so had to try to sleep in the room again, packing pillows against the door base but light still made it in. There was also stains on the carpet, curtains also let street light in and when doors were closed in other rooms they clanged shut reminding me of a visit to Alcatraz! Little sleep for the second night. I feel sorry for anyone sleeping in that room in the future

The concierge was extremely poor, drove in with my 7 seaters rented car, and staff simply ignored my existence - didn't even bother to come out to greet us nor offer any help with the luggage, even after telling him that I'll need help - zero awareness and zero service. The luggage trolley is simply an ornament. Excuse me, it's Marriott! Never in my life have i had to experience such an unwelcoming experience. However, the receptionist (wearing spec) was the only person who gave my family a warm welcome, likewise the staff at the buffet. 👍

Had a really good experience with them back in Adelaide but Brisbane branch service is not as good as compared to Adelaide. But overall with the price the room and breakfast are great 🥰

El Mercure Brisbane King George Square sirve como una base perfecta y funcional, pero no ha logrado la marca ”excelente” que esperaba. Transporte, compras y cenas. Sin embargo, la propiedad y las habitaciones empieza a sentirse bastante fechada y cansada, sin el moderno, premium toques que realmente elevan una estancia hotel. En última instancia, es un lugar limpio y conveniente para descansar la cabeza, Pero es el mejor para los viajeros que se encuentran en una situación de lujo.

We weren't happy with the first room but they were more than happy to accommodate a room change. Very happy with where we stayed.

Very close to the Fortitue valley bar area. Pool is small on the roof top so it’s not heated. Generally quite good. Not exactly located at the central CBD.

Lovely service and room, unfortunately hotel was mid renovations at time of stay but staff were very accommodating around this. Awesome location and accessibility.
