⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.8/5 The Swiss-Belhotel is my go-to place to stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable and guarantee a great night’s sleep. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, often going above and beyond to assist. The hotel is clean, well-priced, and conveniently located close to the CBD, public transport, pubs, and restaurants. Consistently great service and excellent value every time I stay

Great location and service. Breakfast was amazing but quite busy around 7.30-8. Service at the bar was great as well as good tips from the concierge.

El jacuzzi y la sauna en el Marriott fueron muy excelentes, pero el teléfono en la habitación no funcionó, el agua de baño estaba propensa a tocar, y el agua de la lavandería estaba cerrada. También había una puerta de conexión a la habitación siguiente, así que el ruido de los huéspedes vecinos fue extremadamente alto y hizo difícil la estancia.

La ubicación no está mal, se puede ir andando a la estación central de tren, pero la carretera tiene cuesta y si llevas equipaje grande puede ser un poco agotador. El servicio de recepción fue muy amable, nos atendió un chico de Hong Kong y la comunicación fue muy fluida. La habitación doble con dos camas accesibles es bastante espaciosa, aunque la alcachofa de la ducha es vieja y está reparada con cinta adhesiva en la junta dañada. Como teníamos que coger un vuelo temprano al día siguiente y no nos daba tiempo a desayunar, la recepción nos preparó una caja con leche y cereales para llevar. En general, la relación calidad-precio es bastante buena.

El servicio del concierto, la recepción y el portador no eran nada malos, son muy útiles, eficientes, amables y respetables. La limpieza de la habitación fue cuestionable con pelo público en la pared del baño y algunas especies de suciedad de esparcir en las azulejos. Hay unas cuantas actualizaciones y mantenimiento muy necesarias que se deben realizar y consultar con la práctica de la disposición de la habitación y el baño. La piscina no estaba disponible en el momento en que me inspeccioné después de mi vuelo tardo y no podía usarla lo suficiente pronto la mañana siguiente antes de que me necesitó para irme, lo cual fue muy decepcionante porque necesito nadar diariamente. La habitación está muy bien, pero no hay nada que hacer. La habitación es muy lenta, inexacta y de poca calidad. Si usted está dispuesto a gastar $10 por una sola lattina que se trae a su habitación, espera que esté disponible como listado o que la alternativa ofrecida se haya entregado rápida y bien hecho. Si las habitaciones, instalaciones, protocolos y servicio de habitaciones no se han actualizado, le daría una miss.

We weren't happy with the first room but they were more than happy to accommodate a room change. Very happy with where we stayed.

Very close to the Fortitue valley bar area. Pool is small on the roof top so it’s not heated. Generally quite good. Not exactly located at the central CBD.

I slipped over in the bathroom on the wet and slippery tiles and advised the front counter on my departure. Supplied was 2 towels 2 face washers and a hand towel no bath mat. Travellers be wary of wet and slippery tiles. Subsequently I was 30 seconds late for breakfast and they were not obliging at all and left hungry. Happy with previous stays but have changed my mind now and not recommend this hotel.

First time I've stayed here. I was aware of the mixed reviews & I've stayed at other hotels in Chermie but they were booked out on this occasion. It was raining heavily when I arrived so appreciated the undercover parking spaces immediately outside the reception. Check-in was seamless (thx Trip.com) & they didn't require a security deposit or CC scan so my customer trust box was ticked :-) The car park is secure & at ground level but spaces are limited; I was able to find a spot though at 4pm. There is public parking out on the street without restriction after 5pm. I had a Hotel Queen Room on the 2nd floor. Easy access via lift and the common areas were clean & well lit. The room and bathroom were clean with a pleasant aroma & no smell of mould (reported by others), air-con was on. I had a choice of two sliding doors to access the balcony so good for fresh air (but no insect screen). Overall, the room was comfortable whilst showing some signs of wear & tear. The shower had a choice of either hand-held or fixed head (rainforest type) & had plenty of pressure - great. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries, unless you're happy with generic multi-function liquid soap! The fridge was empty except for a small uht milk with no complimentary springwater or mini-bar that you might find in other hotels. There was TV, tea/coffee making supplies and a small microwave. If you like to sleep in complete darkness (like me), bring an eye-mask as the hallway lighting outside the room is bright & on all night, creating an aura around the front door that is hard not to notice. The area was relatively quiet with the hotel located on a side street. It's an easy & short walk to a major shopping centre and the bus station if you need to head into Briz City, which is a 20-30min ride away & only $0.50 fare - awesome. Breakfast (from 7am) was also included but I had to head-off early so wasn't able to grab a bite this time. In summary, I felt that the room rate was appropriate and score my overall experience as good.
