A piece of paradise!!! Low key, quiet off the beaten tourist path, lovely beach front thatched roof, but modern abodes. Beautiful ground. Great staff. Delicious food. Stunning pool. Miles of deserted beach walking. Bicycles to borrow and explore local fishing villages. Even a thatched roof spa offering lovely massage options. A perfect vacation for anyone looking for laid back, no hype quiet vacation. Loved every bit of this hidden gem

Our family had a fantastic trip! The resort is so beautiful — rustic nature, lush greenery, immaculate beach and waters, very tranquil, warm service with comfortable amenities (spacious clean comfy villas with ACs and flatscreen TV). A great retreat to fully unplug from the world and electronics, for young and old. P.s. if you are looking for buffets, full resort programmes, and lots of activities, this is not the place for you :)

Very beautiful property with lovely sunrises over the sea. Good options for visiting islands by boat, kayaking, snorkeling etc though the setup is slightly rustic. If you are going in the hot season though, beware that the air conditioning is underpowered and rooms get quite hot though the staff were able to provide us with a couple of fans.

The resort is unpretentious but beautiful. Every item in the resort from signs, tables, chairs and the villas were crafted by local tradesmen by hand using native wood fashioned in Riau style. The villas were nicely spread out around a lovely open stretch of grass that looks out into the turquoise sea. The place is peaceful and breezy, with a few cabanas perched on the edge looking over the water. Snorkeling is literally at its doorstep, with some corals and small fishes. For deeper dives, swim out a further hundred meters to the trenches, where water is vibrant, corals are teemed with live and color. It's rare to see marine life these days and I hope the resort will try to regenerate marine life in the shallower areas. Some locals were collecting live shells to sell. It would be nice to see greater protection of the reef from both locals and tourists. I was told turtles lay their eggs on the Trikora beach every year. Again, such sights are rare these days, and the turtles need to be treasured and protected.

A very warm welcome from Dilla and her wonderful team at nicely designed Reception area ! This Resort was highly recommended by my brother who knew the Singaporean owner. My room 21 has thatch roof n beautifully designed modern facilities in living room to toilets. Love the traditional bed with an overhead mosquito net in white ! Never had to use it tho. Great service from ladies at the SPA to service staff at the Restaurant. Wide range of food from Indonesian to Western for breakfast. This Resort has a private beach with White Sea sand with panoramic views of the opposite Islands. Not often we can find TURTLES coming to the restaurant in yr Resort Hotel to lay eggs ! Tenths of baby turtles were born last night ( 15 Oct ). Bintan Island is about an hour's ferry ride from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal by Changi Airport. It is 3 times larger than Singapore.

My friend visiting from the UK and I stayed at Trikora Beach Resort in 2018. We had a fabulous stay. As we headed towards the resort this time, we were worried as to what we would find after four years and the travel lockdown. We were so delighted to find the resort just as tranquil and quietly welcoming as before. And that the owners had obviously used the enforced lull to maintain and upgrade the resort; one could not imagine that there had not been guests for more than two years. Our room was, as we remembered, simple yet not lacking in comfort in any way. The gardens have matured and so have the staff; they seem to have greater assurance as evidenced by the quietly confident way in which they looked after us. One of our big concerns was food, as we recalled that nearby dining alternatives are few and far between. To our delight we not only found an expanded menu but the food more enjoyable than we remembered. This visit we learned of the business ethos of the owners. It did not take us long to see that despite the economic difficulties in the past few years, they remain steadfast in their devotion to the care for the environment, their staff and the local community. As if we needed another reason to come back! We could not have asked for a more delightful and refreshing stay so close and seamlessly easy to get to from Singapore. Thank you everyone at Trikora Beach Club for a idyllic stay, and as someone had so famously said before, Hasta la vista baby!

I really enjoyed my stay at trikora. All the villas have roofs cleverly made of tightly-woven leaves, and has furniture made of locally- sourced wood and even drift wood, which creates an authentic feel of a close-to-nature stay, not artificial or superficial at all. On top of that the resort was covered in carpet grass and fine sand, which makes you feel closer to nature and makes it feel more relaxing. The villas were close, a very short walk away from the beach, so you can easily watch and listen to the waves anytime of the day. The rooms were simple though spacious and clean. There is a also a swimming pool. The restaurant is also next to the beachside, where you can eat and soak in the sea, sun and breeze which is relaxing and picturesque. Both the local and non- local foods here were good and tasty though it takes a while. If you’re into kayaking, snorkelling, SUP etc there is also equipment you can rent. At night the trees which are deliberately on the beachside are decorated with lights, which makes creates a mesmerising and beautiful scene. The service was very good- the staff were very helpful, polite and patient.I also appreciate the attention to detail- from the unique construction of the villas to the decoration. Overall, My stay there was enjoyable. You’ll get an authentic, close-to -nature experience, a place to unwind and enjoy nature, with simpler(though yes there’s still air con, tv and good heaters) and clean rooms, away from the bustle of city life.

Spent 4 days at this resort on a family getaway, and it was a wonderful place to unwind and disconnect from the hustle-bustle. We loved the rustic feel of the bedrooms and dining pavilions - the naturalistic vibes really made us feel like we were getting AWAY away. Huge props to the staff for the meticulous care they take of the grounds! Be warned though, being surrounded by trees and sand means you ARE gonna encounter flies, mosquitoes and lizards, so sheltered city folks beware! The rooms are more than adequately comfortable, but not pampering-level luxurious. The food was always tasty (we highly recommend the fried beehoon and nasi goreng! And what’s not to love about a cheeky Irish coffee spiked with the local tipple, Cap Tikus?) And when we needed a break from the spa/beachside mini pools, we went snorkelling at the house reef, though they also have equipment for SUP, kayaking and other water sports. One consideration though, there isn’t a great deal here to occupy kids - it’s primarily an adults’ kind of resort, so we’d recommend looking elsewhere if family-/kid-friendly activities are a priority. The resort’s also quite a distance from any major urban center, so if your ideal vacay is shopping or cafes, this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re a busy working adult looking to just CHILL? This is the place. The resort’s also trying to get involved in both conservation and social projects, so throw in a little CSR while you’re at it Bottom line? This place is different from the other overly-commercialised, touristy establishments that you’ll find on Bintan - BUT IT ISN’T FOR EVERYONE. Recommended if you like: chillaxing, watersports, nature, disconnecting from the world, good food, something different Not recommended for: people who are scared of insects, families with children, urban folks, shopaholics, those who need their creature comforts

Nestled about 1 hour drive away from lagoi terminal lies this quaint, serene and rather secluded resort. It’s simple, but good enough for folks who are just looking to chill by the sea. There’s water sports here, beautiful pool overlooking the sea and great massage by the sea. Food was superb and the customer service was excellent. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and we were so thrilled to find this place! Highly encourage adults, like-minded folks like us who don’t mind just doing water sports and R&R at the resort to stay here. Do book through their website! They would be able to give you good rates compared to other sites. We would definitely return!
