Carmel is a beautiful town and the hotel is in the town centre, so the location is perfect. Room was a little dated, but reasonably clean. On the night we arrived to check in, staff was super friendly and helpful. He gave us detailed instructions regarding our room and parking, also local restaurants recommendations. His service was a 5 star! On the morning of departure, we vacated the room and checked out at 9am. We went for a stroll in the town, and returned after an hour. When we returned at 10am I asked the staff (not the friendly staff helped us check in) if I can use a restroom. Knowing we just checked out, the staff bluntly replied there isn’t public toilet in the hotel, so we’d better use the one in the local park. When we asked if we could go back to our room to use the toilet as it’s still early. His said the cleaners were already in. We then walked to our car which was next to our room, only to find the cleaners hadn’t been at all. Zero hospitality, disappointed.

The location was good, a short walk to Asilomar Beach which is a wonderful coastal trail with deer, bunnies & lots of birds in the early morning (before 7am). Was a bit disappointed that no bottled water was available in the room, and the lobby was locked before 8am and after 9pm when we wanted to get a drink. The coffee maker has water tasting of coffee, which is not ideal for non-coffee drinkers like myself. Toothbrushes not provided. My emails prior to the stay went unanswered. It was suggested that we pay $20 for laundry, and we had to ask multiple times where they either told us it was too early / too late and then to look for housekeeping to ask on our own. Night time is quiet but day time is noisy once housekeeping commences, and in the afternoon we had several calls and knocks on our door from housekeeping when we were trying to rest. They did not wait for us to answer but kept calling. I'm likely to choose a different place for future stays. There are several in this same location that are not as costly. I only chose this because the reviews seemed great.

¡recomendar! Un hotel muy romántico en Carmel. Se encuentra a 12 minutos a pie de la pequeña calle del centro de la ciudad y a tres minutos a pie de la playa. Puedes ver la puesta de sol de la playa naranja en la habitación. El edificio y la decoración del hotel son de estilo español. Hay un jardín con buena vegetación. Muchos lugares son adecuados para que las celebridades de Internet tomen fotos. El desayuno es muy cuidado. Por la noche, hay vino de sangría y galletas de chocolate. Las habitaciones son relativamente pequeñas, pero el servicio del hotel es muy cálido.

El paisaje del hotel está lleno. Vivir en la parte superior de la calle principal, el paisaje de la mañana es realmente incómodo! También hay piscinas cálidas y piscinas de soja, pero no llevamos ropa de baño, no lo sentimos. El ascensor del hotel es un poco viejo, preocupado por estar atrapado en el ascensor. La calidad del desayuno es generalmente el desayuno estadounidense convencional. Sin embargo, el hotel tiene una máquina de lavar la ropa completamente automática, interesante. El entorno en general es bueno, pero no hay lavandería, por lo que se le ha dado un minuto a las instalaciones.

The accommodations were impressive, with a spacious and well-maintained room that was both clean and comfortable, creating a restful and pleasant atmosphere. The attention to cleanliness and upkeep was evident, which enhanced our overall sense of relaxation. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were consistently friendly, courteous, and attentive to our needs, ensuring that we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality contributed significantly to our positive impression of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel’s location proved to be highly convenient. Situated near various dining options and shopping centers, it allowed for easy access to essentials, making our trip more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, we found the Monarch Valley Inn to be a great value for the price. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and a convenient location made for an enjoyable stay.

Good facilities, there are fridge and microwave in the room, quite helpful for travelers who want to est something simple for breakfast or dinner. The room service helps to keep the room clean. Downside is it can be noisy at night and can hear the outside when the people outside is loud.

El hotel está en una muy buena ubicación, justo en la entrada y salida de la autopista 1. Enfrente hay un buen restaurante chino. La actitud del camarero también es muy buena. Aunque no hay desayuno gratis, hay buenos snacks y café gratis. Si elige el primer piso, puede conducir su automóvil directamente hasta la parte trasera de la habitación, lo cual es muy conveniente y seguro. El único inconveniente es que está demasiado cerca del aeropuerto y el avión despega y aterriza justo al lado del hotel.

La ubicación del hotel es buena y está tranquila en el barrio de la ciudad de Camel. Las instalaciones son antiguas. Hay una red de pañales en la ventana. La ropa de cama se puede oír el sonido de la voz de la pañuela. Algunos son más baratos en esta zona. El restaurante al otro lado de la calle es muy delicioso.

La habitación era grande y tenía cafetera y microondas. Me dieron una habitación en la primera planta. También había ascensor en la segunda. Era un buen hotel. El único inconveniente fue que, al preparar el café, encontré la bolsita del anterior inquilino todavía en la cafetera.

El ambiente es elegante, a unos 100 pasos de la entrada de la playa, la decoración de la habitación tiene una ventana de aislamiento térmico y son muy adecuados para los turistas que se sienten dormidos.
