UUsuario anónimoAstoria was a 1.5-hour drive away from PPS airport. We took the hotel shuttle to and from the airport, and it costed us only 200 per way (the original fare was 250 but we got 20% discount since we were students) which is cheaper than the one offered by private vans at the airport. Upon arriving at Astoria, we were greeted by their welcoming staff with complimentary drinks and locally made necklace. The staff assigned to us gave us a quick tour of the place, and we loved how clean and well-maintained the facilities are. If there’s one thing that guests should know before visiting, it’s that to expect that Astoria sales staff would try to sell you their membership packages. But don’t worry, you can politely decline and Astoria’s sales staff would be very understanding. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Astoria and we will definitely come back!

AAngelicaWe had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation.
A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal.
The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

YYuanweidie⚜️En primer lugar: no estoy muy satisfecho con este trato diferenciado. Antes de reservar, vi que el servicio de recogida y regreso era gratuito, y también lo vi en los comentarios. ¡Quería reservar el servicio de traslado al aeropuerto por la mañana! Me dijeron que costaría 800 pesos. Aquí, el aeropuerto está a unos dos kilómetros del hotel. Llevo más de diez años viviendo en Manila y la tarifa para dos kilómetros cuesta menos de 200 pesos. Esto es lo que no me gusta. Me he alojado en muchos hoteles de cinco y cuatro estrellas en muchas islas, y no hay ese cargo. Así que al final, ¡tomé el tuk-tuk local yo solo! 150 pesos al aeropuerto, en diez minutos.
El hotel está en un callejón profundo y no hay mucha comida. El restaurante del hotel cobra una tarifa alta y te cansarás después de dos días. La piscina está muy sucia, así que no hay entretenimiento en el hotel. Es muy aburrido. Dicen que el hotel está en la playa, pero el agua del mar es insoportable. Es simplemente una fosa apestosa. ¡No se lo pierdan!
El servicio es muy bueno y traen refrigerios todas las noches. El agua del hotel es muy desagradable. Empecé a sentirme mal el día que fui y me recuperé al regresar, pero el atento camarero del hotel me ayudó a encontrar medicinas.
No hay muchos tipos de desayuno. Parece higiénico y sabe bien, pero está prácticamente frío. En fin, ¡saciante!
¡Evaluemos toda la isla de Palawan! Este es el peor lugar de Filipinas de las muchas islas que he visitado. Es avaricioso y el consumo es altísimo, incluso más alto que en Manila. El hotel me pidió un coche y me cobró 750 pesos a 10 kilómetros. Hoy regresé al aeropuerto de Manila y me cobraron 265 pesos a 10 kilómetros. La comercialización es demasiado seria y molesta. No quiero volver a este lugar nunca más. ¡Es una estafa! ¡No tiene nada de divertido!

A unos 15 minutos a pie puede llegar al restaurante y la zona de compras. Sin embargo, no hay problema, porque casi hay motocicletas en la puerta del hotel. Puede cambiar con el conductor en cualquier momento.
El aire acondicionado en la habitación es demasiado frío, no hay telecomando, así que cuando me llamo a la recepción, me dijeron que me contactaría después de la recepción, pero lo siento, porque no había contacto, no cambió hasta que se retiró. Lo hice.

CCarpe Diem JayMy stay here was okay. The location could be better, need 100-150 trike ride to get to stores, restaurants, etc instead of anything being in walking distance. Disappointing a place this big didn't offer food or dining. Probably the best part is the friendly staff at the front, ready and willing to help with anything and check on your well-being. And they do laundry at reasonable rates. The room bring advertised as ”pool view” was a bit misleading. It's just facing a bunch of plants, shrubs and trees and behind all that is the pool.
I cannot overstate this. The key is WAY too big. It's cartoonishly, inconveniently, ridiculously oversized. Hard to carry, hold, even use in the door if your hands are full. There's absolutely no reason for it to be this big. They say it's so people don't lose it but they ask you to leave the key with them when you leave anyways so...?? Y'all need to change that lol

Solicité un regalo de cumpleaños y prepararon la habitación con un letrero de Feliz cumpleaños y también había un pastel y un plato de frutas. Mamá estaba muy feliz ❤️ Reservamos la habitación familiar con vista al mar y ¡FUE LO MEJOR! La habitación era genial, creo que podría atender a 10 personas. La vista desde el balcón era impresionante, así como la vista desde la habitación y el baño. El desayuno era genial y el personal era muy servicial. La comida en el resto TOMATE Y ALBAHACA también era buena. Felicitaciones a KZ desde la recepción y el botones que nos ayudó durante nuestro c/i y c/o. EN ESPECIAL AL SALVAVIDAS que nos asistió en el banco de arena. Te recordaremos kuya! Pero nunca tuve la oportunidad de obtener su nombre. Mi hermana y yo disfrutamos de nuestra experiencia Sandbar. en general, fue una estancia maravillosa! Gracias por hacer que el cumpleaños de mi mamá sea memorable.

BBlade.around.the.worldUniversity /University dorm partially turned into a hotel with minimal investment. The result is mostly positive. The hotel is very photogenic so it's easy to get the impression that it's much more swanky than it actually is.. I enjoyed my stay, the staff is friendly, it's clean, surrounded by greenery and nice views. Don't let the name Hotel Palacio fool you, don't expect a palace, the hotel is modest but comfortable. Location wise, it's out of town which was no problem for me as I had prearranged a motorbike during my 7 days stay. For those pending on jeepney public transport or tricycle taxis, places like the baywalk are far away. The van I had organised to the airport early morning with the receptionist was punctually waiting for me. Everything was good. Expect a 3 star property and you won't be disappointed.

Sswedish_family_stockholmWe had a lovely stay for 3 nights with our 2 kids. The beach is Amazing and very fun to walk and discover during low tide. Hundreds of starfish, crabs and fishes. Service is good, but the restaurant takes some time to get the food and it's somewhat overpriced. The pool area is well maintained and there are some nice drinks by the pool bar. We also took a trip to the nearby islands, which is highly recommended.
We're on a 4 month holiday so this was a short stop before continuing to Astoria and then further to El Nido.
3-4 nights is enough to stay here.
