VvicchenggWe enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.

UUsuario invitadoCute boutique hotel in a prime spot near Buchanan St and with some rooms overlooking George Square. We stayed in a studio with a balcony on the 7th floor, which had a great view, but was a little unhandy when the only elevator went out of service 3 of the 5 days during our stay. The room was spacious in terms of hotel rooms in the city centre, and well equipped with everything we might need in the kitchenette, plenty of storage space, good quality linens and towels, upscale toiletries, and a roomy bathroom with a nicely tiled shower. The staff were all very helpful, and did a good job of communicating with us when my husband's golf bag we had shipped over from the US preceded our arrival by a few days; they kept it in reception until we got there. Parking is a good distance away, and there is no good place to load/unload, though if you follow the instructions from Reception, you can get a discounted daily rate at the parking garage they recommend. The shuttle bus from the airport, subway, and, train station are within a few blocks, so you definitely don't need a car to get places within (and to a great extent without) the city.
Honestly we loved this hotel, found it a good value for the price, and will definitely consider staying here again on a return visit to Glasgow.

UUsuario invitadoIt was a lovely stay, but can be a little noisy outside in the early hours, I would like to see ear plugs provided, although you can ask receptionist for anything you need, lovely comfy and clean bed, bathroom was a wow factor, shower with rainfall head, a mini fridge, coffee machine & kettle rounds things off, was surprised to see no robe and slippers,would definitely stay again, I’m probably being picky,

CCARY2707The hotel and the room is good n the location is kind of convenient but there is no indication for the shortest route there.
Actually the kitchen food there was really good, however, it is not available after 20:00. Therefore, I had to go outside again for food after a long day for sightseeing. Therefore, I suggest the hotel can think about prolonging the kitchen time to let more people enjoy their food.

JJJ2026_21Otra estancia estupenda. El servicio de limpieza llegó a las 10 de la mañana, lo cual fue una decepción porque la salida no es hasta las 12 del mediodía, así que me sentí un poco apurado por salir. La calefacción de la habitación no supera los 26 °C, aunque el termostato sube a 32 °C, y como soy friolero, me desperté bastante durante la noche porque la habitación no estaba lo suficientemente caliente.
Recomiendo encarecidamente el hotel: el personal es estupendo y la piscina, el baño turco y el gimnasio son geniales. Lo único realmente decepcionante del hotel es que el desayuno cuesta unas 18 libras y no soy muy desayunador, solo tostadas y café, así que no me merece la pena. Creo que debería haber una opción más barata para quienes comen poco.

El hardware es en general bueno, pero todavía hay algunos defectos menores, como que el asiento del inodoro está torcido y la puerta corredera del armario se descarrila fácilmente. El servicio del personal de recepción es muy bueno y el espacio público en el lobby del primer piso es increíble (mesa de billar gratis, cafetera, etc...).

On a positive, the accessible room that I had booked was of a good size and the main bedroom area was clean. The staff on arrival were helpful and provided me with all necessary information upon check in. Sadly, I was disappointed when ordering from the hotel resturant. My son wanted a pizza and the menu provided a list of three types. When ordering, I was told that there was only one type which wasn’t listed on the menu. I found the food to be of substandard which is disappointing given the price. Equally on check out, I advised that the bathroom had a build up of dirt and hair around the shower tray. I was told “apologises, this is a housekeeping issue”. I voiced my disappointment regarding the food to just be told “sorry”. Lastly I expressed my disappointment that I was charged £12.99 per person for a breakfast buffet. I felt this was a bit steep considering my under 5 ate half a croissant. The front desk only advised that usually they did not charge for under 5’s and would need to take this up with the app I booked to is stay through. No solution or refund were offered.

UUsuario invitadoSpotlessly clean with everything provided for a comfortable stay. A bit away from the centre which meant it was quiet but quite a walk to the centre. Would certainly stay again. Breakfast Saturday was really good, piping hot with plenty of choice. Sunday morning Breakfast was nearly cold and bacon and sausage dry and over cooked. Same time so no excuse. We did let them know at the time

The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Unfortunately, it was a little too noisy to have a good nights sleep. The hotel tried to accommodate by providing earplugs but it was still very noisy from the clubs overnight and subsequent city cleanup in the early hours.
The room’s lighting was very dim which made it hard to see well when getting ready for our night out.

NNo_return_dateVery basic stay but not cheap. Room is big and the bed is pretty nice but carpet and table needs a refresh. Bathroom was pretty antiquated but adequate. It is a walk to city center but there are a bunch of clubs and restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. Subway stop is literally right next to the hotel.
