Fabuloso
KKMSI recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day.
The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed.
All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

缺點：衹提供冷熱水，至少要有茶水和乾果類零食。
另外退房時前台小姐完全不知道我續住的房間已經付款，要求付款，粗心的我還要刷卡，還好男友提醒前台才開始核對。 主要是如果我付款了之後我發現的話， 我還是要浪費時間追回房費。 沒有必要。

UUsuario invitadoThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays.
There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

UUwe HolgerEl desayuno estaba bastante bien, la habitación era relativamente grande. Desafortunadamente, casi todas las habitaciones dan a la calle, que está muy transitada. Hacía demasiado ruido por la noche para dormir con la ventana abierta. La ubicación es buena, a unos 15 minutos a pie de Serdica.

Por una hora, el hotel no sabía cómo cargar mi tarjeta de crédito, ya que su máquina de tarjeta de crédito no sigue las normas de la UE para la seguridad 3D, poniendo en peligro los datos privados de los clientes. Pasé una hora entera por teléfono con mi banco, sólo para descubrir que el hotel no sigue las reglas sobre cómo manejar los datos de tarjetas de crédito con seguridad. La dirección me siguió diciendo que era mi culpa, a pesar de que nunca antes había tenido problemas con los pagos de tarjetas.
El desayuno era decente, con una elección entre un par de menús.
El hotel está situado en una ubicación confortable, a menos de 3-4 minutos de la estación de metro más cercana.
Algunas de las fotos de su sitio están fechadas, ya que el interior es diferente ahora.

UUsuario invitadoHotel is good, service leaves much to be desired. We arrived at the hotel at 2 p.m. and asked on reception if the room is ready (normal check-in at 3 p.m.). The answer was that the room will be ready by check-in time (3 p.m.). We came to the reception at 3 p.m., our room was not ready. The reception lady asked ask to wait 10-15 min. We came to the reception at 15:30, the room was not ready. The lady apologised and asked us to wait 15-20 min maximum. We came at 16:10 - the room was not ready. On my question “when will it be ready?” I’ve got the answer “I don’t know”. I asked the lady to call to the floor responsible/cleaning supervisor and clarify. The answer was “ I already called them, they also don’t know”. I got angry as nobody could tell me when we can expect the room ready. After I applied to their manager, the key was provided to us in 5 min. The room was not so bad, but in the bathroom there was strong sewage smell that stayed in the room for the whole night.

NNoi ChaOur stay at Hotel Budapest in Sofia was enjoyable and convenient. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible and close to many key attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.
The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that satisfied our expectations. However, the dinner service during New Year’s Eve was noticeably slower, likely due to the large number of guests celebrating the occasion. While the wait was understandable given the holiday rush, a bit more efficiency would have improved the experience.
Overall, Hotel Budapest offers great food, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a little attention to service during peak times, it’s an excellent choice for a stay in Sofia!

JJFOEste hotel ofrece un maravilloso desayuno. Disfrutamos del desayuno y lo esperábamos con ansias todas las mañanas. Hay una amplia variedad de opciones y todo estaba delicioso.
La habitación estaba limpia y era espaciosa, aunque los muebles son anticuados.
El personal de recepción es muy amable y servicial.
No es la mejor ubicación de Sofía, pero está cerca de los tranvías. A unos 10 minutos a pie del centro de Sofía o del centro comercial Sofía. A 5 minutos a pie del mercado de mujeres. No hay muchas tiendas ni restaurantes en las inmediaciones del hotel.

AAlek MThe hotel has a spa and fitness center. Compared to Western European spas in hotels, here you might receive one towel if you ask at the spa reception. Otherwise there are no others on disposal and there is no water dispenser. You have to buy it or bring it with you. The saunas could be more clean, especially the steam sauna, which was very dirty in the evening. To swim in the pool you need to buy a swimming cap. The food at the breakfast was very delicious, compared to other experiences I made in Sofia. It could be maybe different every day, because the only difference was how the potatoes were prepared. In any case, you have a variety of food to eat and you will not be hungry. I was in another Ramada hotel and this one was on a lower level than the one in Bucharest and needs a renovation in the rooms or in the restaurant. The chairs were dirty there.
